GUIDED WORD ASSOCIATION BASED DOMAIN NAME DETECTION
Guided word association based domain name detection may be performed by obtaining an original domain name, constructing a feature space from a corpus of text, wherein each word appearing in the corpus is represented as a vector in the feature space, detecting whether a domain name registration exists for each combination of the original domain name and each of a plurality of seed words from the feature space, determining, for each seed word included in an existing domain name registration, a plurality of nearest neighbor candidate words, based on vector distance in the feature space, and repeating, for one or more repetitions, the detecting and the determining, wherein the plurality of nearest neighbor candidate words are utilized as the plurality of seed words.
RESOLVING DECENTRALIZED IDENTIFIERS USING MULTIPLE RESOLVERS
The resolving of a decentralized identifier to a corresponding data structure using multiple resolvers. This allows for the use of a consensus of resolvers to improve trust in the resolution process. In order to resolve, a decentralized identifier is sent to multiple resolvers. In response, each of at least some of those resolvers will return a data structure of a particular type (e.g., a decentralized identifier document) that is associated with the decentralized identifier. Then, it is determined whether the data structure for at least some number of resolvers matches each other. That is, it is determined whether at least some predetermined threshold of resolvers is returning the same data structure (e.g., the same decentralized identifier document). If so, then it is determined that the matching data structure is indeed associated with the decentralized identifier. Otherwise, the resolution process has failed.
Radio module as web-controllable remote sensor
The present invention provides for network control of a radio module having a plurality of ports capable of communication with one or more sensing devices across a network, where the radio module may be controlled remotely to obtain information from one or more networked remote sensing devices.
Domain name registration reservation through the use of encoding domain names
A technique for facilitating registration of an internet domain name with the domain name system (DNS) is presented. The technique can include receiving a request to register an encoding domain name with the DNS, the encoding domain name including an indication of a temporal event and of a target domain name. The technique can also include registering the encoding domain name to a registrant, where the registering the encoding domain name confers to the registrant a right to register the target domain name upon specified conditions, where the specified conditions include an occurrence of the temporal event. The technique can also include receiving a request initiated by the registrant to register the target domain name, and registering the target domain name to the registrant after satisfaction of the specified conditions.
Layered machine to machine (M2M) service methodology using class-based access point names (APNs) for the internet of things
The present invention relates generally to network communications, and more particularly to machine-to-machine (M2M) data communications. The present invention provides for a method, apparatus and computer program product for providing class-based Access Point Names (APNs) and service class layers for a machine-to-machine (M2M) network. The class oriented APNs are defined and assigned in relation to one or more characteristics of resource type, M2M application, quality of service (QoS), and bearer management.
Method, device and server for processing access request
The present disclosure relates to a network technology, and discloses a method, a device and a server for processing an access request. The method comprises: obtaining a response content corresponding to the access request from a source station according to a URL of the access request, when receiving the access request sent by a client terminal; adjusting domain names of at least two sub-resource requests in response content to be a same domain name of a preset protocol type, and returning adjusted response content to the client terminal; restoring, when receiving a sub-resource request having the same domain name, the domain name of the sub-resource request to an original domain name thereof; and obtaining a sub-resource content corresponding to the sub-resource request from the source station according to the original domain name of the sub-resource request, and returning the sub-resource content to the client terminal.
NETWORK ADDRESS RESOLUTION
A content delivery method including the operations of receiving a uniform resource locator resolution request at an authoritative name server for a domain where the uniform resource resolution request is received based, at least in part, on a host name of the uniform resource resolution request where the host name is uniquely related to a resource associated with the uniform resource resolution request. The method further including the operation of tracking a popularity of the resource based on the host name uniquely related to the resource and providing a location within a network capable of delivering the resource where the provided location is based on the popularity of the resource.
Server-side detection and mitigation of client-side content filters
A server-side technique to detect and mitigate client-side content filtering, such as ad blocking. In operation, the technique operates on a server-side of a client-server communication path to provide real-time detect the existence of a client filter (e.g., an ad blocker plug-in) through transparent request exchanges, and then to mitigate (defeat) that filter through one or operations designed to modify the HTML response body or otherwise obscure URLs. Preferably, the publisher (the CDN customer) defines one or more criteria of the page resources being served by the overlay (CDN) and that need to be protected against the client-side filtering.
System and method for enhanced messaging using external identifiers
A network device obtains an External Identifier for a user device. The External identifier includes a <Local Identifier>@<Domain Identifier> format. The network device generates a message, the message including a user identity field for the user device. The user identity field includes the External Identifier. The network device sends, to another network device, the message via an Sh interface.
