Domain name registration reservation through the use of encoding domain names
A technique for facilitating registration of an internet domain name with the domain name system (DNS) is presented. The technique can include receiving a request to register an encoding domain name with the DNS, the encoding domain name including an indication of a temporal event and of a target domain name. The technique can also include registering the encoding domain name to a registrant, where the registering the encoding domain name confers to the registrant a right to register the target domain name upon specified conditions, where the specified conditions include an occurrence of the temporal event. The technique can also include receiving a request initiated by the registrant to register the target domain name, and registering the target domain name to the registrant after satisfaction of the specified conditions.
SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR REDIRECTING TO TRACK USER IDENTIFIERS ACROSS DIFFERENT WEBSITES
Described herein are systems and methods for redirecting to track user identifiers across web sessions and websites. A web browser may receive a first webpage requested by a user of the client. The first webpage may be referenced by a first address including a domain name of the website host and may include a linkage script. The linkage script may be provided by a tracking service and may specify retrieval of a second webpage of the website host. The web browser may determine whether a user identifier of the tracking service is associated with a cookie of the website host. The web browser may identify a second address including at least a portion of the domain name. The web browser may transmit a request for the second webpage of the website host including the second address. The web browser may receive the second webpage for display.
System and Method of Indexing Websites Using Contextually Unique Domain Extensions
An online index of websites that leverages generic top-level domain extension names as an intuitive nomenclature with which to index websites using a website template or plug-in. The website template or plug-in and associated software accesses the consolidated data of the indexed websites into a virtual database and synchronizes the data to a user's hardware wallet which operates an exchange software program forming a decentralized exchange enabling transactions to be settled off-line and peer-to-peer which are then recorded onto a distributed ledger or block-chain.
PLMN selection for mission critical devices
A method for selecting a Public Land Mobile Network (PLMN) at a user equipment (UE), comprising receiving, from a network entity, a list of PLMN identifiers, attempting to register the UE with a network using at least one PLMN identifier from the list of PLMN identifiers, and if the attempt to register with the network is successful, performing a Session Initiation Protocol (SIP) registration to an Internet Protocol (IP) Multimedia Sub-system (IMS) associated to the PLMN identifier.
Communication method for device, device and storage medium
Disclosed is a communication method for a device, a first cloud platform and a second cloud platform. The communication method includes obtaining, by the first cloud platform, a first access token from the second cloud platform. The first access token is configured for the first cloud platform to access a second resource link of a second device on the second cloud platform, and the second device is connected to the second cloud platform. The method also includes obtaining, by the first cloud platform, the second resource link based on the first access token. The method further includes determining, by the first cloud platform, a first resource link of the second device on the first cloud platform based on the second resource link. The first resource link is configured for a first device connected to the first cloud platform to communicate with the second device.
DETECTING HOMOGRAPHS OF DOMAIN NAMES
Various techniques for detecting homographs of domain names are disclosed. In some embodiments, a system, process, and/or computer program product for detecting homographs of domain names includes receiving a DNS data stream, wherein the DNS data stream includes a DNS query and a DNS response for resolution of the DNS query; applying a homograph detector for each domain in the DNS data stream; and detecting a homograph of a domain name in the DNS data stream using the homograph detector.
CROSS-CHAIN INTERACTIONS USING A DOMAIN NAME SCHEME IN BLOCKCHAIN SYSTEMS
Implementations of the present disclosure include identifying, by a relay that is communicatively linked with a first blockchain instance and a second blockchain instance in a unified blockchain network, a blockchain domain name of a first blockchain instance; identifying a blockchain domain name of the second blockchain instance; receiving, from a node of the first blockchain instance, an access request for accessing the second blockchain instance, wherein the access request including the blockchain domain name of the second blockchain instance; identifying a chain identifier of the second blockchain instance based on the blockchain domain name of the second blockchain instance, wherein the chain identifier of the second blockchain instance indicates a blockchain network configuration of the second blockchain instance; and providing access to the second blockchain instance for the first blockchain instance based on the blockchain network configuration indicated by the chain identifier of the second blockchain instance.
Network address resolution
A content delivery method including the operations of receiving a uniform resource locator resolution request at an authoritative name server for a domain where the uniform resource resolution request is received based, at least in part, on a host name of the uniform resource resolution request where the host name is uniquely related to a resource associated with the uniform resource resolution request. The method further including the operation of tracking a popularity of the resource based on the host name uniquely related to the resource and providing a location within a network capable of delivering the resource where the provided location is based on the popularity of the resource.
Method for providing an expanded name service for an industrial automation system
A method for providing an expanded name service for an industrial automation system, wherein name-address assignments between device names and communication network addresses are registered in a name service system to provide an expanded name service for an industrial automation system, where device names registered in the name service system have a hierarchical structure represented by a tree structure, where assignments between device names and plant identification codes are additionally registered in the name service system, where the plant identification codes are registered within the same tree structure as the device names, and where end nodes that are respectively assigned to the plant identification codes in the tree structure comprise either a reference to end nodes which are respectively assigned to the device names or intermediate nodes for plant identification codes comprise a reference to intermediate nodes that are respectively assigned to plant units.
OUTPUT DEVICE DISCOVERY USING NETWORK SWITCHES
A network device managing system is provided for determining network addresses of network devices using network switches. The system comprises a server that determines network switches that communicate with the server, and receives network addresses of devices that are to be excluded from an address search. For each network switch: one or more first addresses of one or more devices that are configured on a switch are received from the switch. For each device, from the one or more devices configured on the switch, in response to determining that a first address of a device does not match any of the addresses of devices that are to be excluded from the address search, the server determines whether an association between the first address and a second address is stored in a server data repository, and if it is, the server transmits the second address to a global data repository.
