20190098059 · 2019-03-28 ·

Methods and system for scheduling or launching online and phone sessions between two or more people via email and other electronic communication channels without the requirement for an account with the session service provider when scheduling the session. By including a designated service provider email address in the recipient list of the host's email or meeting invitation, a user account can be, and in some embodiments is automatically created by the service provider system in response to receipt of such an Email and session invitations are automatically sent to the host and invitees designated in the host's email or meeting invitation. In this way the host and invites calendars can be automatically updated and populated with session information and information on how to joint the session, e.g., on-line meeting or conference. The Email from the communications provider system can, and in some embodiments does, take the form of an updated invite Email message with the information in the Email from the service provider system updating or replacing information supplied by the original invite from the host.

Identifiers and triggers for capillary devices

Methods and apparatuses for capillary network device registration implemented in a wireless transmit/receive unit (WTRU) are disclosed. Registration or bootstrap messages may be received by a capillary network device where the WTRU acts as a gateway for communication between the capillary device and a network such as a 3GPP network. A capillary network device identifier (CNDID) is sent to the capillary device. A packet data protocol (PDP) context or PDN connection may be established with the network and the CNDID may be sent to a machine type communications (MTC) server. The WTRU may create the registration message, establish a connection with the network, and forward the registration message to the MTC server. Methods and apparatuses implemented in a network are also disclosed for identifying, addressing, and triggering the capillary devices from the MTC server. The trigger message may include fields for group communication, reducing signaling, and enabling charging.

A memory device includes at least one memory cell array block and a control logic. The memory cell array block includes multiple layers of memory cells and word line layers provided corresponding to individual layers of memory cells. The memory cell array block is divided into at least two memory cell array subblocks, each subblock comprising a number of layers of memory cells and word line layers provided corresponding to individual layers of memory cells. The control logic is coupled to the memory cell array block, and configured to: erase, read or program the memory cell array block using a block mode or a subblock mode, and when the memory cell array block is erased, read, or programmed under the subblock mode, determine, at least based on a state of one of the two memory cell array subblocks, an operation strategy of the other memory cell array subblock.

Methods for dynamically constructing a service principal name and devices thereof

A system, medium and method for dynamically constructing a service principal name is disclosed. A client request from a user to access a service is received at a network traffic management device which identifies an internet protocol (IP) address of a selected backend server to provide the requested service to the client. The network traffic management device identifies a hostname of the selected backend server based at least on the identified IP address and dynamically generates a service principal name (SPN) of the selected backend server based on the determined host name. The network traffic management device obtains a service ticket from a domain controller server using at least the generated SPN of the selected backend server. The network traffic management device uses the obtained service ticket along with the client request to provide the user access to the selected backend server for the client request.

Provisioning tool for a content delivery network (CDN)

A tool that allows a CDN customer, partner, or other authorized entity to create a DNS canonical name (CNAME) on the content delivery network without having to contact the content delivery network service provider directly.

Method for converging telephone number and IP address
10212288 · 2019-02-19 ·

A method for converging telephone numbers and Idata addresses follows the steps of (a) accessing from a first memory location of a communication appliance one of an E.164 telephone number or an IPv6 address; (b) using the E.164 criteria of [Country Code-Identification Code-Subscriber Number 1-Subscriber Number 2-Extension-Ext2-Ext3] for a telephone number, converting that number to an IPv6 hexadecimal notation IP address in the format [<Country Code>:<Identification Code>:<Subscriber Number 1>:<Subscriber Number 2>:[<Extension>]:[<Ext2>:[<Ext3>]], and converting in the reverse for an IP address to a telephone number; (c) storing the telephone number or address in a separate memory location of the appliance; and (d) depending on the nature of a communication session initiated by a user, retrieving the appropriate IP address or telephone number as the destination for the communication.

SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR DOMAIN NAME VALUATION

A method and a computer system for performing the method of determining an initial value or lifetime value for a domain name is provided. The method for determining an initial value includes obtaining, over a communication network, a domain name from requestor; obtaining, over the communication network, one or more inputs from one or more domain name data sources; applying the one or more inputs and the domain name to an initial lifetime worth computer model, wherein the one or more inputs comprise data related to comparable historical domain names, data from a linguistic model analysis, data from a linguistic frequency list, and data related to a second-level domain to top-level domain relationship analysis; determining, by a hardware processor, an initial lifetime worth for the domain name based on the initial lifetime worth computer model; and providing the initial lifetime worth for the domain name to the requestor.

TECHNIQUES FOR DOMAIN CAPTURE

Techniques for domain capture. In one embodiment, for example, a method comprises detecting an attempt by a personal user account to use the online service where the account is associated with an electronic mail address that belongs to an owner of a domain name service domain. Based on detecting the attempt, the online service prompts the particular personal user account to join a team of user accounts. Upon receiving an acceptance of the particular personal user account to join the team, the personal user account is offered an option between converting the personal user account to a team user account that is a member of the team or changing the electronic mail address associated with the personal user account to a different electronic mail address that is not owned.

Systems and methods for resolution of uniform resource locators in a local network

In accordance with embodiments of the present disclosure, a method for resolving a uniform resource locator may include receiving, at a router, a uniform resource locator from a client information handling system within a local network of the router. The method may also include processing, by the router, the uniform resource locator to determine if the uniform resource locator includes a local domain name of a local information handling system within the local network. The method may further include resolving, by the router, a unique address associated with the uniform resource locator and the local information handling system responsive to determining that the uniform resource locator includes the local domain name of the local information handling system, wherein such resolving is performed without resort to a domain name service external to the local network.
