Methods, apparatus and/or system for using email to schedule and/or launch group communications sessions
Methods and system for scheduling or launching online and phone sessions between two or more people via email and other electronic communication channels without the requirement for an account with the session service provider when scheduling the session. By including a designated service provider email address in the recipient list of the host's email or meeting invitation, a user account can be, and in some embodiments is automatically created by the service provider system in response to receipt of such an Email and session invitations are automatically sent to the host and invitees designated in the host's email or meeting invitation. In this way the host and invites calendars can be automatically updated and populated with session information and information on how to joint the session, e.g., on-line meeting or conference. The Email from the communications provider system can, and in some embodiments does, take the form of an updated invite Email message with the information in the Email from the service provider system updating or replacing information supplied by the original invite from the host.
Network system, access point, and connection method thereof
A network system, an access point, and a connection method thereof are provided. The access point includes a communicator configured to communicate with a wireless devices, and a controller configured to control the communicator to acquire authentication information based on a Uniform Resource Locator (URL) that is received from the wireless device, and to perform connection with an electronic device based on the acquired authentication information.
DOMAIN NAME REGISTRATION RESERVATION THROUGH THE USE OF ENCODING DOMAIN NAMES
A technique for facilitating registration of an internet domain name with the domain name system (DNS) is presented. The technique can include receiving a request to register an encoding domain name with the DNS, the encoding domain name including an indication of a temporal event and of a target domain name. The technique can also include registering the encoding domain name to a registrant, where the registering the encoding domain name confers to the registrant a right to register the target domain name upon specified conditions, where the specified conditions include an occurrence of the temporal event. The technique can also include receiving a request initiated by the registrant to register the target domain name, and registering the target domain name to the registrant after satisfaction of the specified conditions.
Semantic Validation Method and Apparatus
A semantic validation method, applied to a Machine-to-Machine Communications (M2M) system, where the method includes receiving, by an apparatus storing a semantic description resource, an operation request related to a first semantic description resource, including semantic information of the first semantic description resource, an association relationship between the first semantic description resource and another semantic description resource, and a uniform resource identifier (URI) of an ontology referenced by the first semantic description resource, determining that the first semantic description resource is associated with the semantic description resource, sending a semantic validation request message to an apparatus that stores the ontology referenced by the first semantic description resource. Hence, accuracy of a resource and data shared between industries and applications using a public capability of the M2M system can be ensured in a case of no priori knowledge.
PLMN Selection for Mission Critical Devices
A method for selecting a Public Land Mobile Network (PLMN) at a user equipment (UE), comprising receiving, from a network entity, a list of PLMN identifiers, attempting to register the UE with a network using at least one PLMN identifier from the list of PLMN identifiers, and if the attempt to register with the network is successful, performing a Session Initiation Protocol (SIP) registration to an Internet Protocol (IP) Multimedia Sub-system (IMS) associated to the PLMN identifier.
System and Method for Enabling Cross-Domain Communication over Network
The present invention is directed to a system including multiple Management Units and Entities that connect to one or more Management Units, thereby establishing a cross-domain communication method. The Management Units function for storing, managing and assigning, or generating the Universal Identifications to each connected Entity. The functions performed by the Universal Identifications include resolving communication pathway and directly connect Entities over network.
Techniques for invite enforcement and domain capture
Techniques for invite enforcement and domain capture. In one embodiment, for example, a method performed in an online service computing environment comprises the operations of: storing, in a database, an association between a team of one or more user accounts and a domain name service domain; receiving a request to invite an e-mail address belonging to the domain name service domain to join the team; creating, in a database, a placeholder user account that is a member of the team; associating, in a database, the e-mail address with the placeholder user account; and after an invitation for the e-mail address to join the team is accepted, converting, in a database, the individual user account to a team account that is (a) a member of the team and (b) associated with the e-mail address.
SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR UTILIZING MOBILE ACCESS POINTS FOR MULTIPLE-PATH DELAY TOLERANT COMMUNICATION IN A NETWORK OF MOVING THINGS, FOR EXAMPLE INCLUDING A NETWORK OF AUTONOMOUS VEHICLES
Systems and methods for optimizing data communication in a network of moving things. As non-limiting examples, various aspects of this disclosure provide systems and methods for communicating delay tolerant information in a network of moving things, for example comprising any of a variety of types of vehicles (e.g., autonomous vehicles, vehicles controlled by local operators, vehicles controlled by remote operators, etc.).
SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR ENHANCED MESSAGING USING EXTERNAL IDENTIFIERS
A network device obtains an External Identifier for a user device. The External identifier includes a <Local Identifier>@<Domain Identifier> format. The network device generates a message, the message including a user identity field for the user device. The user identity field includes the External Identifier. The network device sends, to another network device, the message via an Sh interface.
Fake web address detection
A destination address is processed to determine if the destination address is a fake web address or hyperlink. The destination address may be compared with a database of known domain names to see if the domain name is legitimate or illegitimate. The designation address may also be compared to other domain names to see if it is an honest or dishonest transformation of the other domain names. Appropriate action may be taken if the designation address is a dishonest transformation of another domain name.
