SECURITY OF SURVEILLANCE MEDIA
A media device receives a domain key from a service provider. The media device further encrypts media with a media key and encrypts the media key with the domain key to form an encrypted media token: the protected media key is encapsulated in an encrypted media token. The service provider may then receive the encrypted media token and one or more receiving entity identifiers relating to a receiving entity and ascertain whether the receiving entity is entitled to access media from the media device. If the receiving entity is entitled to access media from the media device, the service provider decrypts the cryptographic media token using the domain key to obtain the media key and providing the media key to the receiving entity. As such, an authenticated receiving entity may obtain the media key necessary to decrypt the media. Moreover, there is no requirement for any intermediate entity to have similar access and thus the encryption provided by the media key is in place throughout the transport of the media from media device to receiving entity.
METHODS, APPARATUS AND COMPUTER PROGRAM PRODUCTS FOR SECURELY ACCESSING ACCOUNT DATA
Customer data is securely downloaded to a browser toolbar by performing a check to determine whether a request for customer data includes a request for personal identifiable information requiring encryption by a public encryption key generated by the browser toolbar. The customer is authenticated based on a set of a user credential and an account specific access credential. The account specific access credential is associated with the account of the customer. Requested personal identifiable information is encrypted using the public encryption key generated by the browser toolbar. Encrypted personal identifiable information is transmitted to the browser toolbar.
SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR CREATING FINGERPRINTS OF ENCRYPTION DEVICES
Systems and methods for creating fingerprints for devices are described herein. In various embodiments, the system includes a device management system operatively coupled to a merchant system. According to particular embodiments, the device management system: 1) receives a first payload correspond to a device from the merchant system, the first payload including data in a particular format; 2) creates a fingerprint for the device by parsing the first payload and creating a record of a section format for each of one or more distinct sections of the particular format; and 3) comparing a format of each subsequent payload that corresponds to the device to the fingerprint for the device to determine whether the device has been compromised.
Cryptographic material sharing among entities with no direct trust relationship or connectivity
A mechanism to share cryptographic material across entities that may not have a direct trust relationship between or among each other, or no network connectivity, or some combination thereof, but where participating entities do share a trust relationship (or trusted connection(s)) with a common entity, sometimes referred to herein as a “conduit” entity. This technique enables such entities to leverage their trust relationship with a common “conduit” entity to share cryptographic material between or among themselves.
METHOD AND SYSTEM FOR PREVENTING A FRAUDULENT VIDEO RELAY
The disclosure provides a method and system for preventing a fraudulent video relay. The method comprises: a video source node slicing a video source and relaying fragments of video data to next nodes; a relay node user receiving a relayed fragment of video data from a previous node and writing a video relay session information into a system; a viewing node establishing a video relay session with the relay node, receiving, reassembling, decoding and playing the fragment of video data, and regularly recording relay behavior data to the system; and a relay reward node regularly obtaining unprocessed relay behavior data, calculating a reward value for each relay user, and writing the reward value into a block-chain system, to implement accurate rewards of relay.
BLOCKCHAIN-EMBEDDED SECURE DIGITAL CAMERA SYSTEM TO VERIFY AUDIOVISUAL AUTHENTICITY
A system for collecting and distributing a digital audiovisual item captured by a sensor using a blockchain server is disclosed. The system can comprise a security module that is coupled to the sensor and adapted to generate a private cryptographic key. The system can further include a blockchain-enabled hardware, coupled to the sensor and the security module. The hardware can generate a set of original hashes corresponding to the captured digital audiovisual item and an identifier having an address to the original hashes, embed information corresponding to the identifier in the captured digital audiovisual item to create a blockchain identified audiovisual item, and post the set of original hashes to a public blockchain using the private cryptographic key. Methods for collecting and distributing a digital audiovisual item captured by a sensor using a blockchain server are also provided.
Newnode: decentralized content distribution network
A method and apparatus of a device that downloads content to a local device using a decentralized content distribution network is described. In an exemplary embodiment, the device receives a request from an application to download content using the decentralized content distribution network. In addition, the device determines a plurality of nodes in the decentralized content distribution network to download the content. For each of the plurality of nodes, the device attempts to establish communications between the device and that node. In addition, the device downloads a portion of the content from that node if communication is established between the local device and that node, wherein the size of the portion is based on at least a characteristic of that node. Furthermore, the device downloads a portion of the content from a proxy if communication cannot be established between the local device and that node, wherein the size of the portion is based on at least a characteristic of that proxy.
Decentralized document and entity verification engine
A system and method enabling an entity to prove its identity and provide authentic documents/data/information therein at any time required based upon data retrieved from an independent cryptographically verifiable source (ICVS) through a secured channel is disclosed. The system enables a virtual and secure browser on a user computing device allowing a user to login and retrieve authentic information pertaining to the user from the ICVS in a verifiable and untamperable manner. The retrieved information is bounded with origination information of the ICVS and the bounded information is provided to relying entities as authentic information for verification. Also, cryptographic value of the authentic information can be stored in an immutable storage such as blockchain, so that the cryptographic value is used by the relying-party to validate integrity of the authentic information.
Method and system for preventing distribution of illegal content over the internet
Provided is a method of preventing illegal content from being distributed over the Internet, the method including searching for, by a distribution prevention module, file information corresponding to specific content through a tracker, extracting, by the distribution prevention module, a target peer that distributes the specific content on the basis of the file information to generate an identification value of the target peer, establishing, by the distribution prevention module, an initial connection with the target peer, and transmitting, by the distribution prevention module, a mutation message to the target peer.
System and methods of de-centralized content collection, distribution, and control
A content distribution system configured to store first and second creator content generated respectively by first and second creators, receive first and second rules generated separately by the first and second creator, respectively, the first rules governing requirements for consumers to access the first content, the second rules governing requirements for consumers to access the second content, the first and second rules requiring that a potential consumer must be a member of the respective creator's group, the first rules further requiring that the potential consumer must pay to receive access to the first content, receive a content request from a first-third party system from a first consumer requesting access to the first content, confirm that the first user qualifies to receive access and that the first third-party system is permitted, and provide access to the first content.
