Systems, Methods and Apparatus for Keystroke Encryption
A keystroke encryption device (KED) exists between the keyboard and the host computing platform including a host PC. The KED examines keystrokes before they are transmitted to the host PC and asymmetrically encrypts the keystrokes when the KED is turned on. The KED allows the keystrokes to pass through as originally indicated by the user when the KED is turned off. The KED accepts a public key from a server, which decrypts the keystrokes using its own public and private key. The keys and an asymmetric encryption algorithm together provide the means by which each keystroke is encrypted before it enters the host PC.

An encrypted data receiving unit (201) receives encrypted data which has been encrypted, in which a decryption condition to define a user attribute of a decryption-permission user who is permitted to decrypt the encrypted data is embedded. A data storage unit (202) stores the encrypted data received by the encrypted data receiving unit (201) in an encrypted state. A revocation processing unit (209) adds revocation information in which a user attribute of a revoked user who is no longer the decryption-permission user is indicated, to an embedded decryption condition that is embedded in the encrypted data, while the encrypted data remains in an encrypted state.
SYSTEM, METHOD, AND DEVICE FOR DELIVERING COMMUNICATIONS AND STORING AND DELIVERING DATA
A system, method, and device includes a platform data storage that stores a wrap that secures an executable controller and executable sensors. The wrap is verified, optionally through a downloaded authentication driver. After verifying the wrap, the wrap is opened and a sister of the executable controller is installed into the platform memory to cooperate with the executable controller. Additionally or alternatively, the authentication driver may cooperate with the executable controller. The executable controller allows the platform processor to access data secured in a vault and/or verify the platform to create a connection to an application server.

A data storage unit (202) stores encrypted data while remaining in an encrypted state, and stores decryption conditions to define a user attribute of a decryption-permission user who is permitted to decrypt the encrypted data. In a case wherein revocation information to indicate a user attribute of a revoked user who is no longer the decryption-permission user has been added to the decryption condition when update timing arrives, a revocation information removing unit (206) removes the revocation information from the decryption condition while the encrypted data remains in the encrypted state. Further, the revocation information removing unit (206) transmits the encrypted data and the decryption conditions from which the revocation information has been removed to a re-encryption apparatus that performs re-encryption in a proxy re-encryption scheme, and receives, from the re-encryption apparatus, the encrypted data that has be re-encrypted in the proxy re-encryption scheme using the decryption condition from which the revocation information has been removed. A refresh processing unit (205) updates the encrypted data that has been re-encrypted and the decryption condition from which the revocation information has been removed.
Providing forward secrecy in a terminating TLS connection proxy
An infrastructure delivery platform provides a RSA proxy service as an enhancement to the TLS/SSL protocol to off-load, from an edge server to an external cryptographic server, the decryption of an encrypted pre-master secret. The technique provides forward secrecy in the event that the edge server is compromised, preferably through the use of a cryptographically strong hash function that is implemented separately at both the edge server and the cryptographic server. To provide the forward secrecy for this particular leg, the edge server selects an ephemeral value, and applies a cryptographic hash the value to compute a server random value, which is then transmitted back to the requesting client. That server random value is later re-generated at the cryptographic server to enable the cryptographic server to compute a master secret. The forward secrecy is enabled by ensuring that the ephemeral value does not travel on the wire.
