Vehicle-mounted device upgrade method and related device
A vehicle-mounted device upgrade method and a related device. The method may be applied to a vehicle-mounted system, a vehicle-mounted control device and one or more to-be-upgraded vehicle-mounted devices, and the method may include: obtaining, by the vehicle-mounted control device, a vehicle-mounted upgrade package, where the vehicle-mounted upgrade package includes a plurality of upgrade files, and each upgrade file is used to upgrade at least one to-be-upgraded vehicle-mounted device; performing, by the vehicle-mounted control device, security verification on the plurality of upgrade files; and sending, by the vehicle-mounted control device, a target upgrade file to a target to-be-upgraded vehicle-mounted device that is to be upgraded by using the target upgrade file, where the target upgrade file is an upgrade file on which security verification succeeds in the plurality of upgrade files. According to this application, the vehicle-mounted device can be securely and efficiently upgraded.
Communicating with a vehicle tracking device via short message service (SMS) secured by single-use credentials
A system addresses a security vulnerability in sending commands to a vehicle tracking device via SMS text messaging. The system provides a single-use credential value for authenticating the SMS communication link before it can be used to command the vehicle tracking device. The single-use credential value, also referred to herein as a One-Time Personal Identification Number (OTPIN), is preferably time-based so that it can be used only once.
Systems, devices and methods for using a central server to provide multi-tiered access and control of a computer device
Systems and methods for controlling and tracking computer devices using a secure communication path between a central server and a machine control-file watchdog program. One or more machine control-files can be generated to control, limit and track a computer device using a machine control-file watchdog program. The system sets limits on the computer device to ensure the user operating the computer device stays within a restricted set of usage limitations. The machine control-file watchdog program protects the one or more machine control-files and additionally can report on all activities performed by the computer device to the central server.
Network security using root of trust
Disclosed are systems, methods, and non-transitory computer-readable media for network security using Root of Trust (RoT). A node in the vehicle networking system receives an authentication message from an adjacent node in the vehicle networking system. The authentication message included identifying information of the adjacent node that is digitally signed with a digital signature having been generated using a private key. The adjacent node accessed the identifying information of the second node from a source image authenticated during a secure boot of the adjacent node. The node accesses a public key available to the node and authenticates the adjacent node based on the public key and the digital signature included in the authentication message.
TRAFFIC ACCIDENT HANDLING METHOD AND DEVICE, AND STORAGE MEDIUM
Provided in the embodiments of the present invention are a traffic accident handling method and device, and a storage medium. The traffic accident handling method includes: acquiring first accident data when a first vehicle has a traffic accident, wherein a first traffic accident handling device has an associative relationship with the first vehicle; on the basis of the first accident data, performing accident penalty determination processing to obtain a first penalty determination result; receiving a second penalty determination result sent by a second traffic accident handling device, wherein the second traffic accident handling device has an associative relationship with a second vehicle in the traffic accident other than the first vehicle, the second traffic accident handling device corresponds to a second node in a blockchain network and runs a smart contract, and the second penalty determination result is obtained by the second traffic accident handling device performing accident penalty determination processing on the traffic accident by means of the smart contract; and on the basis of the first penalty determination result and the second penalty determination result, determining a first target penalty determination result.
SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR SECURELY MANAGING VEHICLE INFORMATION
Systems and methods are provided for securely managing vehicle information. A first digital signature associated with the vehicle may be generated based on a first public-private key pair, and a second digital signature associated with a mobile application may be generated based on a second public-private key pair. The mobile application may be associated with a mobile device operated by a user. The first digital signature and the public key of the first public-private key pair may be transmitted to, and stored by, the vehicle, and the second digital signature and the public key of the second public-private key pair may be transmitted to, and stored on the mobile device via the mobile application. The systems and methods may determine that a request to access the vehicle information has been received, and permit access to the vehicle information based on the first digital signature and the second digital signature.
ELECTRIC VEHICLE CHARGER AND RELATED METHODS
An electric vehicle charger includes a power supply and a controller. The power supply is for supplying electric power over a charging connection to an electric vehicle. The charging connection employs charging conductors to supply electric power from the power supply to the electric vehicle for charging. The power supply is adapted to send data to and receive data from the electric vehicle over the charging conductors according to a power-line communications protocol. The controller coupled to the power supply to control supply of electric power to the electric vehicle, The controller is adapted to, prior to initiating supply of electric power by the power supply to the electric vehicle for charging, communicate with the electric vehicle to identify a payment method associated with the electric vehicle and with the payment network to authorize the payment method for payment for electric power supplied to the electric vehicle for charging.
EVIDENCE ORACLES
Systems and methods are disclosed with respect to using a blockchain for managing the subrogation claim process related to a vehicle collision, in particular, utilizing evidence oracles as part of the subrogation process. An exemplary embodiment includes receiving recorded data from one or more connected devices at a geographic location; analyzing the recorded data, wherein analyzing the recorded data includes determining that an collision has occurred involving one or more vehicles; generating a transaction including the data indicative of the collision based upon the analysis; and transmitting the transaction to at least one other participant in the distributed ledger network.
SUBSCRIPTION-BASED ACTIVATION OF ADS FEATURES
The present disclosure relates to a method performed by a distributed subscription-handling system for supporting subscription-based activation of Automated Driving System (ADS) features in a vehicle. The disclosure describes arrangements that support a process where complexity and/or the transaction cost of ADS feature subscription handling may be limited. There is identified at one or more ADS-equipped vehicles connected via a peer-to-peer blockchain network having at least a first service provider node dedicated to an ADS feature provider, data indicative of one or more subscription options comprising indication of various ADS feature sets available for activation and indication of respective corresponding required ADS-related vehicle configuration are defined in at least a first blockchain-stored smart contract deployed by the at least first service provider node
Systems And Methods Using Blockchain For In-Vehicle Health And Wellness Tracking
This disclosure describes systems and methods using blockchain for in-vehicle health and wellness tracking. An example method may include receiving a request for a vehicle from a mobile device of a user. The example method may also include receiving, from a pathogen detector device within a first vehicle, an indication that a number of pathogens within the first vehicle is less than a threshold amount. The example method may also include assigning the first vehicle to the user based on the indication that the number of pathogens within the first vehicle is less than a threshold amount.
