METHOD OF UPDATING MAP DATA, ELECTRONIC DEVICE AND STORAGE MEDIUM
A method of updating map data, an electronic device, and a storage medium, which relate to a field of computer technology, and in particular to intelligent transportation technology. The method of updating map data includes: acquiring a traffic event text, where the traffic event text includes location data and reference direction data; determining candidate road data in the map data based on the location data; determining target road data from the candidate road data based on the reference direction data; updating the target road data based on the traffic event text.
DETECTING AND EVICTING MALICIOUS VEHICLES IN A VEHICLE COMMUNICATIONS NETWORK
A method, computer program product and computer system maintain a list that includes identifiers of vehicles determined by the processor of a detective vehicle to have an innocent status. The processor selects, for each sub-period of a predefined time period, a target vehicle from a plurality of vehicles, where the detective vehicle communicates either directly or indirectly with each vehicle of the plurality and accepts communications from the plurality, where a portion of the plurality of vehicles and the detective vehicle are within a vehicle-to-vehicle communication range, and where vehicle-to-vehicle communication does not utilize infrastructure network connectivity. The processor obtains, over a vehicle-to-vehicle communication or a network connection, messages regarding a status of the target vehicle. The processor determines the status of the target vehicle, where the status is one of: malicious or innocent. The processor notifies the vehicles associated with the identifiers on the list of the determination.
SHORT-LIVED SYMMETRIC KEYS FOR AUTONOMOUS VEHICLES
By way of example, there is disclosed a method of a device communicating messages in a vehicle, such as an autonomous vehicle (AV), including: participating in mutual authentication with a key server located on the vehicle; receiving from the key server a cryptographic key; using the cryptographic key for symmetric cryptography, comprising signing messages sent to or verifying messages received from another device of the vehicle; and clearing the cryptographic key at reboot.
Secure tracking of items utilizing distributed computing
A computerized method of the invention includes software having instructions loaded on a computer system including a database populated with item information associated with owner, leasee and/or lien holder information. The CPU executes the instructions for, in a first step, registering user, in a second step, associating items and, in a third step, making registered item information available for updating and interrogation by users with the requisite permissions.
System and method for verifying aircraft position information
A method of verifying aircraft position information based on ADS-B messages includes receiving an ADS-B message indicating an identifier of an aircraft and indicating a position of the aircraft. The method includes accessing a tamper-resistant distributed public ledger of authenticated flight plan data to determine whether flight plan data associated with the identifier is stored in the tamper-resistant distributed public ledger. The method includes, conditioned upon a determination that the flight plan data is stored in the tamper-resistant distributed public ledger, comparing the position to a flight path indicated by the flight plan data. The method includes selecting a characteristic of an icon corresponding to the aircraft based on a determination whether the position corresponds to the flight path. The method further includes displaying, on a display device and based on the characteristic, the icon at a location corresponding to the position.
Evidence oracles
Systems and methods are disclosed with respect to using a blockchain for managing the subrogation claim process related to a vehicle collision, in particular, utilizing evidence oracles as part of the subrogation process. An exemplary embodiment includes receiving recorded data from one or more connected devices at a geographic location; analyzing the recorded data, wherein analyzing the recorded data includes determining that an collision has occurred involving one or more vehicles; generating a transaction including the data indicative of the collision based upon the analysis; and transmitting the transaction to at least one other participant in the distributed ledger network.
Obtaining a credential for V2X transmission on behalf of a vehicle
Techniques described herein include utilizing a mobile device as a proxy receiver and/or transmitter for a vehicle in a V2X network. In some embodiments, the mobile device associated mobile device capabilities may be configured to obtain vehicle capabilities and store such data in memory at the mobile device. The mobile device may obtain any suitable combination of a reception credential and one or more transmission credentials. In some embodiments, the one or more transmission credentials may be generated by a credential authority based at least in part on determining that the vehicle capabilities and mobile device capabilities indicate that the sensor(s) and/or processing resources of the vehicle and/or mobile device meet transmission requirement thresholds for the network. The mobile device may subsequently transmit any suitable data message on behalf of the vehicle using at least one of the transmission credentials.
Method and system for maintaining privacy and traceability of blockchain-based system
With the popularity of Blockchain comes grave security-related concerns. Achieving privacy and traceability simultaneously remains an open question. Efforts have been made to address the issues, while they may subject to specific scenarios. The present disclosure proposes a method, a system, and a device for maintaining privacy and traceability of a Blockchain-based system. The method includes: registering in a Blockchain-based system; transmitting a message from a transmitter T to a receiver R via an anonymous network, after a registration request of the transmitter T has been approved and storing message transmission data generated during a message transmission process in a Blockchain; and performing an identity disclosure by using the message transmission data when the message is detected to be false. The anonymous network may transmit the message by onion routing. The solution proposed by the present disclosure can achieve traceability and privacy for a Blockchain-based system simultaneously.
Automobile data transmission
An automobile device transmits data to a server in a communication network. The automobile device records the data received from one or more transmitters located in an automobile. The automobile device transmits a random access preamble on an uplink carrier to a base station when a pre-defined condition is met. The automobile device encrypts the data and transmits the encrypted data to a server via a base station.
CERTIFICATE REVOCATION AND MANAGEMENT FOR AUTONOMOUS VEHICLES
Systems and methods are provided for managing a device in a vehicle, comprising: receiving a device registration request for the device; evaluating a list that includes a plurality of unique identifiers associated with a plurality of certificates; determining whether a particular unique identifier associated with a particular certificate is valid based on a length of time for the particular certificate; and communicating a signed version of the particular certificate to authorize a session for the device.
