SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR CREATING A UNIVERSAL RECORD
A method for tracking multiple classes of records in a single blockchain is disclosed. Class identifiers can used for each record entry to distinguish between classes within the blockchain.
Automated System and Method for Providing Radiological Second Opinions
A computer-implemented method for providing a radiological opinion includes the steps of: (a) receiving an order for a radiological opinion by means of a web-based application accessible to a user; (b) launching an upload/scan application accessible to the user; (c) scanning a user-selected folder or drive for DICOM images; (d) parsing the DICOM images found in step (c); (e) uploading the DICOM images parsed in step (d); (f) routing the uploaded DICOM images to a picture archiving communication system; (g) generating a radiology order; (h) routing the radiology order to a radiology information system; (i) receiving a radiological opinion; (j) routing the radiological opinion to the user and (k) receiving electronic payment from the user following a successful upload of the radiological opinion, the electronic payment being governed by blockchain technology.
SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR AUTHENTICATING WIRELESS PROGRAMMING DEVICES IN PROGRAMMABLE MEDICAL SYSTEMS
A medical device of a medical system is configured for communicating with an external programmer over a wireless communications link. The medical device comprises a wireless communications module configured for receiving a first unencrypted version of a random number and a first encrypted version of the random number from the external programmer over the wireless communications link. The medical device further comprises control circuitry configured for performing an authentication procedure on the external programmer based on the first unencrypted version of the random number and the first encrypted version of the random number, and preventing the external programmer from commanding the medical device to perform an action unless the authentication procedure is successful.

SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR TIME-BASED ONE-TIME PASSWORD MANAGEMENT FOR A MEDICAL DEVICE
A data monitoring system comprising a server communicatively coupled to a client device and a data module via a network. The server is configured to store a private key of a public-private key pair associated with the data module, receive a request from the client device for authenticated access to the data module, and generate an authentication key based at least on the private key and a time. The client device is configured to generate the request for authenticated access to the data module and transmit the request to the server. The data module is configured to store the private key of the public-private key pair associated with the data module, generate the authentication key based at least on the private key and the time, and grant access to the data module if the authentication key generated by the data module and the authentication key generated by the server match.
Highly secure networked system and methods for storage, processing, and transmission of sensitive personal information
A highly secure networked system and methods for storage, processing, and transmission of sensitive information. Personal/private information is cleansed, salted, and hashed by data contributor computing environments, and occurs using the same processes to ensure output hashed values are consistent across multiple sources. Hashed sensitive information is hashed a second time by a secure facility computing environment. The second hashing of the data involves a private salt inaccessible to third parties. The second hashed data is linked to previously hashed data (when possible) and assigned a unique ID. Data dictionaries are created for particular individuals provided access to the highly secure information. Prior to a data dictionary being accessible, the data dictionary undergoes compliance and statistical analyses regarding potential re-identification of the source unhashed data. The data dictionaries are viewable as certified views via a secure VPN.
A DIALYSIS MACHINE, A FLUID PREPARATION DEVICE, AND METHODS FOR ESTABLISHING SECURE COMMUNICATION BETWEEN A DIALYSIS MACHINE AND A FLUID PREPARATION DEVICE
The present disclosure relates to establishing secure communication between a dialysis machine and a fluid preparation device. In an example, a dialysis machine includes a control unit configured to establish a short-range wireless connection with an external fluid preparation device. The control unit establishes the short-range wireless connection by causing a user interface to display a prompt to enter a passkey associated with a fluid preparation device, using the received passkey to pair with the fluid preparation device, and creating a new bonding table or write to an empty bonding table using the passkey. The control unit is also configured to generate a shared key using the passkey and at least one predetermined criterion and use the shared key to authenticate with the fluid preparation device. When authentication with the fluid preparation device is successful, the control unit enables data communication using the short-range connection with the fluid preparation device.
METHODS FOR ENABLING SECURED AND PERSONALISED GENOMIC SEQUENCE ANALYSIS
Described herein is a secure integrated storage and analysis solution for personal genomic applications. The method guarantees data privacy whilst enabling access and ongoing analysis of genomic data when required. Described is a computer implemented homomorphic encryption method for securely producing natively encrypted sequencing data in a way that allows subsequent analysis on the encrypted data without requiring the file to be decrypted.
MODIFYING DATA FROM A SURGICAL ROBOTIC SYSTEM
A method of reducing a data volume of a data stream in a surgical robotic system, the surgical robotic system comprising a robot having a base and an arm extending from the base to an attachment for an instrument, the arm comprising a plurality of joints whereby the configuration of the arm can be altered, the method comprising: receiving a data stream captured by the surgical robotic system, the data stream comprising data relating to a surgical procedure and having a first data volume; identifying a feature in the received data stream indicative of an event in the surgical procedure; and modifying, in dependence on the identified feature, the received data stream to generate a modified data stream having a second data volume that is smaller than the first data volume.
