PHYSICALLY UNCLONABLE STRUCTURAL-COLOR ANTI-COUNTERFEITING LABEL WITH ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE AUTHENTICATION
20210091964 · 2021-03-25 ·

The invention discloses a physically unclonable structural-color anti-counterfeiting label with artificial intelligence (AI) authentication, which is formed by doping micron-sized particles into disorderedly arranged monodisperse submicron-sized particles and coating onto a black substrate; alternatively, by doping micron-sized particles and black nanoparticles into disorderedly arranged monodisperse submicron-sized particles and coating onto a substrate. The disordered arrangement of monodisperse submicron-sized microspheres has a special effect on light to make the anti-counterfeiting label show a specific structural color. AI is used to learn the anti-counterfeiting label images obtained from an optical microscope and memorize their structural characteristics to form an anti-counterfeiting label database. The optical microscope images of the anti-counterfeiting labels taken by end users or in any circulation links are sent to the database to compare with structural characteristics in the database, and a similarity value is fed back by AI to realize the function of anti-counterfeiting and authenticity verification.

An exemplary authorization system is located remotely from a hearing device that is configured to facilitate hearing by a recipient. The authorization system comprises a memory storing instructions and a processor communicatively coupled to the memory. The processor is configured to execute the instructions to: receive, from a client in communication with the hearing device, a request for the hearing device to perform an operation; determine, based on device characteristic data that is representative of one or more characteristics specific to the hearing device, that the operation is valid for the hearing device; and transmit, in response to determining that the operation is valid for the hearing device, an authorization message to the hearing device, the authorization message authorizing the hearing device to perform the operation requested by the client.

A communication apparatus configured to acquire information in a distributed ledger shared in a network, the communication apparatus includes a memory; and a processor coupled to the memory and configured to acquire one or more digital certificates used by a user of another apparatus to apply to the communication apparatus from the other apparatus, acquire type information that identifies a combination of the user and the type of information certified by the one or more digital certificates, by using the distributed ledger, acquire certificate issue history that is recorded in the distributed ledger in association with the type information, and determine whether the issue history contains information of another digital certificate that has not been acquired from the other apparatus.

Systems, methods, and computer program products for risk and insurance determination

The invention enables determining at least one of an insurance risk score or an insurance cost through the steps of (i) receiving from one or more sensors disposed within one or more wearable devices worn by the individual, health parameter data corresponding to one or more states associated with the individual, (ii) validating the received health parameter data based on one or more predefined validation rules, (iii) responsive to validation of the health parameter data, recording said health parameter data and a unique ID associated with the individual in a blockchain, and (iv) retrieving from the blockchain, a plurality of instances of health parameter data associated with the unique ID, and generating based on an analysis of the retrieved plurality of instances of health parameter data, a risk score associated with the individual.

PERFORMING COMPUTATIONS ON SENSITIVE DATA WHILE GUARANTEEING PRIVACY
20210058229 · 2021-02-25 ·

A method, system and computer program product for performing computations on sensitive data while guaranteeing privacy. A service provider receives a first and a second ciphertext from a medical provider that homomorphically encrypts matrices A and B, respectively, using an encryption key, where the matrices A and B include medical data encoded as vectors. The service provider performs a homomorphic matrix multiplication on the first and second ciphertexts without decrypting the first and second ciphertexts. An encrypted result from the performed homomorphic matrix multiplication on the first and second ciphertexts is generated and transmitted to the medical provider to decrypt which matches a result of performing a matrix multiplication on unencrypted matrices A and B thereby enabling computations to be performed on the medical data in a secure manner.

SMART CARD PASSWORD MANAGEMENT SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR MEDICAL SYSTEMS

The invention relates to devices, systems, and methods for controlling smart card authentication for a system. The systems and methods can include a smart card reader for gaining access to a smart card by sending a first password to access the smart card wherein the smart card reader can read a unique ID of the smart card and use an algorithm to generate a second password and store the generated second password directly in the smart card's file directory. The medical systems can include any medical device or machine requiring the transfer of any data such as personal health information (PHI) and therapy parameter data to be used by medical devices in the system. The methods, algorithms, and processes can also be used as a standard for any number of devices and systems for accessing a particular device.

Disposable sticker within augmented reality environment

A sticker system includes at least a head-mounted device and a sticker. In an embodiment, the sticker system receives an image of the sticker captured by an imaging sensor. The sticker system determines registration information by processing a fiducial marker of the sticker shown in the image. The sticker system determines location information of the HMD. Additionally, the sticker system determines a position of the sticker relative to the HMD using the registration information and the location information. The sticker system provides a (e.g., augmented reality) graphic to the HMD for presentation to the user based on the position of the sticker.

METHOD OF ESTABLISHING A COMMUNICATION SESSION BETWEEN AN EXTERNAL DEVICE AND AN IMPLANTABLE MEDICAL DEVICE

In various examples, a method of establishing a communication session between an external device and an implantable medical device is described. The method includes generating at the external device a first private key and a first public key. A start session order is sent over a long-range communication channel. Evidence of physical proximity is sent from the external device to the implantable medical device over a short-range communication channel. A second private key and a second public key are generated at the implantable medical device. A first shared key is generated by the implantable medical device using the first public key and the second private key. A second shared key is generated by the external device using the second public key and the first private key. The first and second shared keys are used to encrypt and decrypt one or more messages between the external device and the implantable medical device.
