Systems and Methods for Authenticating Music Credits
Systems and methods for crediting a profile for a musical work through authentication of a credit is provided. The system comprises a processor in communication with a database. The processor receives a selection of a credit for a musical work to be attributed to an invited profile from an authorized administrator for the musical work, or a request for a credit from an administrator of a profile. The processor updates the database to include the credit as a pending credit, and generates an electronic credit invitation or a credit request including the pending credit. The credit invitation or credit request is transmitted to the invited profile administrator or the musical work administrator, respectively. The processor determines whether the invited profile administrator or the musical work administrator authorizes the pending credit and updates a status of the pending credit in the database based on the determination.
METHODS AND APPARATUS TO MONITOR STREAMING MEDIA CONTENT
Methods, apparatus, systems and articles of manufacture are disclosed to monitor streaming media content. An example apparatus to monitor streaming media content includes a flag detector to determine if a streaming media flag is asserted in a content of a watermark associated with a media exposure event, the media exposure event included in panel data from a panel meter, the panel meter to monitor a media presentation device via an audio output channel of the media presentation device. A data selector to, when the streaming media flag is asserted: discard the media exposure event associated with the streaming media flag from the panel data and select the media exposure event from network traffic reports to credit media presented by the media presentation device, the network traffic reports obtained from a meter that monitors network traffic to and from the media presentation device.
Digital rights management (DRM) method and system for intelligent operating system
A digital rights management (DRM) method for an intelligent operating system comprises: acquiring a play list of media data to be played and encrypted media data; inquiring and acquiring one or more DRM application modules, wherein the DRM application module contains an identifier of a trusted application module; requesting DRM authorization by the DRM application module from a DRM server, judging a content permission and acquiring an encrypted content encryption key (ECEK) and transmitting the ECEK to a TEE; after judging that the content permission is legitimate; decrypting the ECEK acquired by the trusted application module which is in the TEE and corresponds to the trusted application module identifier to acquire a content encryption key (CEK), and decrypting the encrypted media data by using the CEK; and storing the decrypted media data in a security cache region for decoding and outputting.
Method for securing user data with DRM keys
Some embodiments provide convenient auto-authentication for user data on a primary device, while still providing a significant level of security, by taking advantage of existing security and cryptographic measures used to communicate with a secondary device. The primary device of some embodiments encrypts the user data on the primary device using a cryptographic key based on a set of keys received from the secondary device. In some embodiments, the primary device encrypts authentication data, or a local key generated from the authentication data, using a remote key received from the secondary device, and encrypts the user data with the local key. In some embodiments, the keys received from the secondary device are an existing set of keys for establishing an encrypted channel of communication for transmitting digital rights management (DRM) protected content according to a DRM protection scheme.
ELECTRONIC APPARATUS, SERVER AND METHOD OF CONTROLLING THE SAME
Disclosed are an electronic apparatus, a server, and a method of controlling the same, the server including: a communicator configured to connect with an electronic apparatus and an external server; and a processor configured to: generate first encrypted information by encrypting first decryption information received from the electronic apparatus, the first decryption information for reproducing content, control the communicator to transmit, to the external server, the generated first encrypted information, generate second decryption information by decrypting second encrypted information received from the external server, the second encrypted information generated based on the first decryption information, and control the communicator transmit the generated second decryption information to the electronic apparatus to scramble the content by a scrambler of the electronic apparatus.
MANAGING CONTENT DELIVERY TO CLIENT DEVICES
Managing content delivery and content usage for client devices can include receiving, using computer hardware, HyperText Markup Language (HTML) code from a content server, wherein the HTML code is sent in response to a request originating from a client device, sending to an HTML licensing server, using the computer hardware, a query specifying the content server and a list including an HTML construct detected in the HTML code, receiving from the HTML licensing server, using the computer hardware, HTML license information specifying a validity status for the HTML construct on the list and a period of time for which the validity status is active, and determining, using the computer hardware, that the HTML code is invalid based on a current time, the validity status of the HTML construct, and the period of time.
Encrypted Blockchain Object Transfers Using Smart Contracts
Encrypted blockchain object transfers using smart contracts are provided herein. The present disclosure includes mechanisms for generating compliance certificates and their combined use with smart contracts in order to govern the transfer of ownership rights in objects between parties. Various data are encrypted and stored in a public ledger blockchain. Decryption keys are automatically released based on verified possession of compliance certificates in accordance with a smart contract. Possession of decryption keys allows for decryption and transfer of ownership rights.
DIGITAL RIGHTS MANAGEMENT SYSTEM AND DIGITAL RIGHTS PROTECTION METHOD
A digital rights management system and a digital rights management method are provided. The digital rights management system includes an authority management module, a user confirmation module and an authority blockchain. The authority management module is configured for: receiving a user authority information corresponding to a user end from a service providing; sending user authority information to the user confirmation module; receiving an identification code corresponding to the user authority information from the user confirmation module; and sending and storing the user authority information and the identification code into the authority blockchain. Therefore, the authority management module, the user confirmation module and the authority blockchain manage and protect digital rights.
Digital rights and integrity management in three-dimensional (3D) printing
Systems, methods and media for managing digital rights in three-dimensional (3D) printing are provided. In one example, a registration of digital rights in a first 3D object is received from a first user and via a portal. The registration includes a certification device. The registration including the certification device is published in an online environment, and the first 3D object is made available for replication by second users via the portal. A request for access to the digital rights in the first 3D object is received from a second user for 3D printing of the first 3D object. Permission is granted under the digital rights in the first 3D object to the second user for printing the first 3D object. Instructions are electronically transmitted to a 3D printer to print the first 3D object, and the 3D printer prints the first 3D object based on the instructions.
