Automatically verifying vehicle identity and validating vehicle presence
Systems, apparatuses and methods may provide for infrastructure node technology that conducts a mutual authentication with a vehicle and verifies, if the mutual authentication is successful, location information received from the vehicle. The infrastructure node technology may also send a token to the vehicle if the location information is verified, wherein the token includes an attestation that the vehicle was present in a location associated with the location information at a specified moment in time. Additionally, vehicle technology may conduct a mutual authentication with an infrastructure node and send, if the mutual authentication is successful, location information to the infrastructure node. The vehicle technology may also receive a token from the infrastructure node.
Supply authentication via timing challenge response
In an example implementation, a print supply cartridge comprises a microcontroller to receive a timing challenge and enable authentication of the cartridge by providing a challenge response. The challenge response is provided in a challenge response time that falls within an expected time window.
AUTHORITY REVOKING METHOD AND DEVICE
An authorizing party determines an authorization record set that needs to be revoked, where an authorization record included in the authorization record set corresponds to a token that is issued to an authorized party after the authorizing party grants access to the authorized party, and where each authorization record includes an authorization validation moment for a corresponding token. A time validity attribute of the authorization record set is configured. For a specific point-in-time, a value associated with the time validity attribute is set. A determination is performed as to whether the authorization record is revoked based on the authorization validation moment and the value associated with the time validity attribute.
Unique code for token verification
A method for tokenizing credentials is disclosed. In addition to a token, a verification value can be provided for each interaction. The verification value can be generated based at least in part on a dynamic data element. The dynamic data element may be kept secret, while the verification value can be distributed for use during an interaction. When the verification value is used, it can be validated by re-creating the verification value based at least on the stored dynamic data element.
Method and system to dynamically obfuscate a web services interface
The present application relates to the handling of what are generally referred to as denial of service (DoS) attacks. More specifically, the present application relates to a method and system for protecting one or more on-line Web service application servers from DoS and/or distributed DoS (DDoS) attacks.
Method and system for providing a transaction forwarding service in blockchain implementations
A method of providing a transaction forwarding service in a blockchain includes executing a smart contract in the blockchain so as to determine whether a respective full node is eligible to execute the smart contract. The smart contract specifies eligible full nodes, a filter of a respective light client and a reward for executing the smart contract. The respective full node forwards data relating to a transaction that matches the filter of the respective light client to the respective light client with a proof that the transaction is included in the blockchain. The respective full node receives a signed acknowledgement from the respective light client verifying the transaction. Then, the respective full node claims the reward using the acknowledgement.
Data encryption method and system using device authentication key
Method and system of encrypting data using device authentication key disclosed. The system of encrypting data may include a transmitting device, configured to transmit a device identification information to request an authentication and a receiving device, configured to perform the authentication, and to generate an authentication key to provide to the transmitting device when the authentication is successful.
BLOCKCHAIN-BASED ADVERTISEMENT MONITORING METHOD AND APPARATUS, AND ELECTRONIC DEVICE
The specification discloses a blockchain-based advertisement monitoring method and apparatus, and an electronic device. The method may include: obtaining, by a playing device, an advertisement resource; at each of a plurality of different time points while playing the advertisement resource, collecting, by the playing device, screenshots of the advertisement resource; generating, by the playing device, a plurality of signatures based on the collected screenshots, an device identifier of the playing device, and a private encryption key of the playing device; generating, by the playing device, verification information based on the plurality of signatures; and uploading, by the playing device, the verification information to a blockchain network.
SECURE PORTABLE MEDICAL INFORMATION ACCESS SYSTEMS AND METHODS RELATED THERETO
Using a secure portable reference to medical information, stored on a portable storage medium, various embodiments allow a patient to give to their doctor an easy-to-use access key that will enable access to desired medical information stored on a computer network. The secure portable reference provides greater transportability of medical records to a patient or medical data repository including a doctor's office, clinic, or hospital, while maintaining data security to satisfy medical data privacy regulations and expectations. Some described embodiments use encrypted information inside the secure portable reference to hide, for example, who is allowed access to the stored medical information, and the network location of the stored information. Some embodiments use a secret PIN to authenticate the user attempting access to the referenced medical information. The secure portable reference contains information on network resources used to enable download access to medical information, including medical records and medical images.
System and method for authenticating users
A security application for a computing device, e.g., a mobile phone, allows generation of a secret according to a unique user input (e.g., user credentials). The secret is stored in a directory such that it is retrievable when the unique user input is received via a user interface of a device on which the security application executes or is coupled with. Responsive to receiving an identifier associated with the secret, the security application prompts, e.g., via a user interface of the mobile phone, entry of the unique user input; and, subsequently, verifies the unique user input. Following such verification, the security application provides the secret for use in encoding a communication with a remote computer-based station. Entry of the user credentials may be required prior to the security application generating the secret, and may be responsive to receipt of an invitation (e.g., from the remote computer-based station) to generate it.
