An accessory according to an example embodiment may be for an electronic device including a first housing, a second housing, and a hinge cover connecting the first housing to the second housing, and may include a first cover to cover the first housing, a second cover to cover the second housing, a holder configured to receive a body part of a user to hold the electronic device, and a connector to connect the holder to the first cover and the second cover. The connector may be configured have a first shape in an unfolded state of the electronic device, and have a second shape different from the first shape in a folded state of the electronic device. At least a portion of the connector may be deformed in the second shape. Other embodiments are also possible.

The actuators are nested, wherein the outer actuator is suspended from the device body and the inner actuator is suspended from the outer actuator. A suspension element may be a flexure bearing, allowing a flat actuator design.

An electronic device according to various embodiments of the present invention comprises: a first main body including a first surface and a second surface which faces the opposite direction to the first surface; a second main body including a third surface which faces the first surface of the first main body part when being folded in a first direction, and a fourth surface which faces the second surface of the first main body part when being folded in a second direction; a rotatable connection unit which connects at least a part of one side of the first main body part and at least a part of one side of the second main body part; a first display which is exposed to the first surface of the first main body part; a second display which is exposed to the third surface of the second main body part; a processor which is electrically connected to the first display and the second display; and a memory which is electrically connected to the processor. The memory, when being executed, may store instructions for instructing the processor to display the first screen and the second screen on the first display and the second display, respectively, when an angle between the first main body and the second main body is included in a first range, and to display at least one from among the third screen and the fourth screen on at least one from among the first display and the second display when an angle between the first main body and the second main body is out of the first range and is included in a second range due to the first main body and the second main body being folded in the second direction.

Close clearance hinge systems
A variable pitch clamshell hinge for use with clamshell housings includes a first shaft coupled to a first variable diameter device and a second shaft coupled to a second variable diameter device. The first variable diameter device and the second variable diameter device are coupled together using an inelastic linking element. As the shafts are rotated in a first direction the variable diameter devices increase in diameter. As the shafts are rotated in a second direction that is opposite the first direction, the variable diameter devices decrease in diameter. As the variable diameter devices increase in diameter, the inelastic linking element exerts a compressive force on the variable diameter devices, decreasing the distance (i.e., the pitch) between the shafts. As the variable diameter devices decrease in diameter, the inelastic linking element relaxes the compressive force on the variable diameter devices, increasing the distance between the shafts.
Close clearance hinge systems
A variable pitch clamshell hinge for use with clamshell housings includes a first shaft coupled to a first variable diameter device and a second shaft coupled to a second variable diameter device. The first variable diameter device and the second variable diameter device are coupled together using an inelastic linking element. As the shafts are rotated in a first direction the variable diameter devices increase in diameter. As the shafts are rotated in a second direction that is opposite the first direction, the variable diameter devices decrease in diameter. As the variable diameter devices increase in diameter, the inelastic linking element exerts a compressive force on the variable diameter devices, decreasing the distance (i.e., the pitch) between the shafts. As the variable diameter devices decrease in diameter, the inelastic linking element relaxes the compressive force on the variable diameter devices, increasing the distance between the shafts.
Moveable display supports, computing devices using same, and methods of use
A computing device is disclosed that includes an organic light-emitting diode (OLED) display. The OLED display has a front surface and a back surface. The computing device includes a moveable display support connected to the back surface of the display. In some implementations, the moveable display support is configured to limit bending in one direction to a first bend radius and to limit bending in another direction to a second bend radius. In some implementations, the moveable display support is formed by a plurality of unit cells.
System for loss prevention and recovery of portable electronic devices
A system for loss prevention and loss recovery of portable electronic devices. The system includes a server administered by an administrator, a software application executable on a portable electronic device in communication with the server, a unique registration identifier associated with the portable electronic device, and a distance tracking device. The association between the portable electronic device and the unique registration identifier is stored on the server. The software application is configured to connect to the distance tracking device. The distance tracking device is configured to provide a notification when the distance tracking device is further than a predetermined boundary from the portable electronic device. When the unique registration identifier is entered at a website associated with the server, return delivery information is provided.
