Mobile device test infrastructure
A mobile device test module enables a remote client to execute client-developed mobile device applications on a mobile device, via a communication network, to test application performance on the mobile device. The module includes a host compute board which establishes a device communication link, which can include a wireless link, with a mobile device mounted in the module and generates commands to the mobile device based on signals received at the board. The module restricts the host compute board and mobile device to device communication links between each other. The module housing can restrict device communication links with devices external to the module. The module can be installed in a slot of a chassis which can provide structural, power, and communication support to the module. The chassis includes interface clusters which each can support various modules installed in the slots and can support redundant links with an installed module.
Electronic device and control method thereof
An electronic device is provided. The electronic device includes: a communicator comprising communication circuitry; and a processor configured to control the communicator to communicate with an access point (AP) device, obtain information associated with a communication network between the AP device and the electronic device, estimate a bandwidth of the communication network based on the obtained information, identify whether the communication network has an error based on the estimated bandwidth, and provide guide information based on the identification result.
Automated functional testing systems and methods of making and using the same
An automatic robot control system and methods relating thereto are described. These systems include components such as a touch screen panel (“TSP”) robot controller for controlling a TSP robot, a camera robot controller for controlling a camera robot and an audio robot controller for controlling an audio robot. The TSP robot operates inside a TSP testing subsystem, the camera robot operates inside a camera testing subsystem, and the audio robot operates inside an audio testing subsystem. Inside the audio testing subsystem, an audio signals measurement system, using a bi-directional coupling, controls the operation of the audio robot controller. In this control scheme, a test application controller is designed to control the different types of subsystem robots. Methods relating to TSP, camera, and audio robots, and their controllers, taken individually or in combination, for automatic testing of device functionalities are also described.
CONVERSION ELEMENT MEMBER, AND CONVERSION ELEMENT MODULE AND ELECTRONIC DEVICE INCLUDING CONVERSION ELEMENT MEMBER
The conversion element member of the present disclosure includes: a conversion element having an opening capable of functioning as a ventilation port and/or a sound-transmitting port; and a waterproof membrane. The conversion element has an outer surface provided with the opening. The waterproof membrane is joined, at a joining portion thereof, to the outer surface of the element so as to cover the opening, the joining portion having a shape surrounding the opening when viewed in a direction perpendicular to the outer surface. The waterproof membrane has a non-joining portion defined as a portion surrounded by the joining portion when viewed in the direction, the non-joining portion having a region overlapping the outer surface when viewed in the direction. A spacing distance D1 between the membrane and the outer surface in the region is 0.01 mm to X mm, where X represents, in an indentation test on the waterproof membrane.
Systems and methods for managing consumer transaction-based investments
The field of the invention relates to systems and methods for controlling investment funds, and more particularly to systems and methods for real-time projections based on consumer transactions. In one embodiment, an investment fund management system may include a consumer communication device configured to create a payment gateway with a Point of Sales (POS) terminal. The system further includes a portfolio server accessible over a data network. The consumer communication device is configured to execute a process including the steps of intercepting a transaction through the payment gateway; computing an expected return based on the investment of a transaction amount from said transaction; and providing the expected return to the consumer communication device.
SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR OPTIMIZATION OF TRANSMISSION OF REAL-TIME DATA VIA NETWORK LABELING
The present invention relates to systems and methods for network labeling in order to enhance real time data transfers. A network for a real time data transfer is identified and predictive models for network performance are compared against to determine if the network is suitable for the data transfer. If so, then the real time data transfer may be completed as expected. However, if the network is predicted to be unsuitable for transmission an alternate means for connection may be suggested. The alternate suggestion may include delaying the data transfer until the network is expected to be in better conditions, connecting to another access point in the network, or switching to another network entirely. During the data transfer, the quality of the network is monitored in order to update the predictive models for the network's quality. Identifiers for the network may be utilized to keep track of the networks. Network signal strength, signal pollution and time may also be tracked in order to identify patterns in the network's performance.
