Information associated with messages and/or missed calls is provided to a subscriber. Calls received but not answered by the subscriber may be monitored. Each monitored call is classified as one of a missed call and a message. The monitored calls may be summarized based on a customizable rule set to create a summary. The summary is provided to the subscriber via, for example, a voice notification.

A calling device for calling and communicating with a driver of a vehicle with a low power by using a Low Power Wide Area Network (LPWAN) such as a LoRa communication network and a calling method thereof are disclosed. The calling device according to the invention may be installed in a vehicle and transmit/receive data to/from a management server through the LPWAN. The calling device transmits a calling message to a driver terminal by recognizing a user's tapping, touching, etc., and when the driver confirms the calling message, display to the caller that the driver confirms the calling message. In addition, the calling device also allows the caller to call the driver directly by displaying the driver phone number if the driver does not confirm the calling message in time.

Network based call authentication

A device may receive, from a network device, a resolution query associated with a call. The resolution query may include a device identifier of the network device. The network device may receive, from a user device, the call. The device may determine, based on the device identifier of the network device, whether an authentication condition is satisfied. The device may selectively provide, to the network device, an authentication token in association with the resolution query based on determining whether the authentication condition is satisfied. The authentication token may enable an endpoint device, associated with the call, to perform a particular action based on the call.
