Method and apparatus for displaying missed calls on mobile terminal
A displaying method and apparatus in a mobile terminal are provided. The displaying method in a mobile terminal includes displaying a message for a missed call for a first number on an idle screen or a call list screen when the missed call is generated from the first number, displaying a call history for the first number on an incoming call screen or an outgoing call screen when a call is received from the first number or the call is transmitted to the first number, and changing the message for the missed call for the first number when a call is connected to the first number and displaying the changed message.

Method and system for providing caller information
Methods and systems of providing caller information are provided. Exemplary systems and methods provide location information for audio files including the caller information. The location information can be used to retrieve the audio information, which can be played on a call recipient's device, and/or a translation of the audio information, which can be displayed on the call recipient's device.
Protecting user data during audio interactions
A method for protecting user data during an audio interaction includes various operations performed by a processing system including at least one processor. In one example, the operations include detecting an audio signal that is part of an interaction between a user and another party, converting the audio signal into a string of text, detecting that the interaction is likely to put sensitive data of the user at risk, based on a comparison of the string of text to a library of interactions that are known to put sensitive data at risk, and sending an alert to notify the user that the interaction is likely to put the sensitive data of the user at risk, wherein the alert is sent to prevent the user from providing the sensitive data to the another party, and wherein the method is performed contemporaneously with an occurrence of the interaction.
AUTHENTICATED CALLING VOICEMAIL INTEGRATION
Various arrangements for providing authenticated caller information for voicemail are presented herein. A terminating telephony service provider system can receive a request to connect a telephone call, the request comprising a session initiation protocol (SIP) identity header. The terminating telephony service provider system can perform a verification based on the SIP identity header. A voicemail may be created based on audio received from the calling party via the telephone call. SIP header information can be stored and mapped to the voicemail. The terminating telephony service provider system can then output, to a called party user equipment (UE), an indication of the voicemail with an indication of the verification based on the SIP identity header.
Portable multifunction device, method, and graphical user interface for conference calling
The present disclosure generally relates to managing phone calls. In some embodiments, an electronic device with a touch screen displays a phone call user interface which includes informational items associated with phone calls, such as an add call affordance. In some embodiments, when the electronic device receives a request to initiate another phone and displays an additional user interface that includes a merge call affordance that replaces display of the add call affordance.
System and method for enabling trusted caller identity and spoofed call prevention
A system and method of verifying a caller identification utilizing a server that communicates with a computing device capable of monitoring communication networks for specific communications from an enterprise voice network. The server can push a spoof prevention contact list to user devices. Additionally, the server can receive notifications from the computing device in response to user inputs that allow match analysis to occur with the information in the received notifications. When a match is found, the server can send a notification to a user device to modify a contact name in the spoof prevention list stored in the user device. After a specified time, the contact name can be altered back to the original state. As an example, the contact name in the spoof prevention list may start out as “unverified call,” and be changed temporarily to “verified call” upon receipt of the notification.
Delivering additional information to receiving parties for text messaging based caller ID
The present disclosure describes a system, method, and computer readable medium for providing information to a receiving party in a communications network. The method includes receiving a message from a sending party and performing a lookup of information relating to the sending party in a database via an Internet Protocol connection. The lookup is based on an identifier of at least one of the sending party and the receiving party. Subsequently, the information is provided to the receiving party based on the availability of the information in the database.
SIGNALING STORM BLOCKING METHOD, APPARATUS, AND DEVICE, AND STORAGE MEDIUM
Embodiments of this application provide a signaling storm blocking method, apparatus, and device, and a storage medium, and belong to the field of network technologies. The method includes: obtaining traffic statistics information, where the traffic statistics information is statistics and output information of a traffic performance indicator; detecting a signaling storm based on the traffic statistics information; when the signaling storm is detected, obtaining a call history record (CHR) log of at least one user equipment UE, where the CHR log is a log file used to record a problem that occurs in a call process of a user; determining a target UE based on the CHR log of the at least one UE, where the target UE is a UE that generates signaling causing the signaling storm; and performing signaling blocking on the target UE.
User interface and method of viewing unified communications events on a mobile device
A user interface and method for viewing communications events on a mobile device includes a user interface, a communications event handler, and a communications event database is disclosed herein. The communications event handler interfaces with the database and the user interface to provide a user of the mobile device with a communications event history associated with the correspondent of an incoming communications event. Additionally the communications event handler interfaces with the database and the user interface to provide a user of the mobile device with a communications event history for a specified correspondent.
