A method, system and apparatus for announcing caller information to users over a television link. The method comprises receiving, via a portion of a data network adapted for handling Voice-over-IP (VoIP) calls, Session Initiation Protocol (SIP) signalling information associated with an incoming call destined for a destination party, the SIP signalling information comprising a portion conveying information regarding an origin of the incoming call and information regarding an identity of the destination party. The method further comprises attempting to establish a telephony link with a device associated with the destination party over a communication network in response to the receiving. The method further comprises releasing the portion of the SIP signalling information to a processing entity to cause delivery of an indication of the origin of the incoming call over a television link associated with the destination party, the indication based on the information regarding an origin of the incoming call.

A method, system and apparatus for announcing caller information to users over a television link. Various arrangements for providing authenticated caller information for voicemail are presented herein. A terminating telephony service provider system can receive a request to connect a telephone call, the request comprising a session initiation protocol (SIP) identity header. The terminating telephony service provider system can perform a verification based on the SIP identity header. A voicemail may be created based on audio received from the calling party via the telephone call. SIP header information can be stored and mapped to the voicemail. The terminating telephony service provider system can then output, to a called party user equipment (UE), an indication of the voicemail with an indication of the verification based on the SIP identity header.

Parameters of clusters of a context-encoded model are updated, per frequency estimation of an aspect of calls to contacts with respect to unique combinations of contextual data of calls matching the respective clusters. The clusters are weighted according to relevance of the unique combinations of contextual data to current contextual information. First probabilities of calling individual contacts are determined according to the current contextual information and one or more inferences between calls determined from the clusters as weighted. Second probabilities of calling each of the plurality of contacts are determined according to a set of rules defining prioritizations for contacts based on external factors. The first, second, and third sets of weights are combined to determine final predictions for predicted probabilities to call each of the contacts.

The method includes: determining whether contact information of a phone number is stored in an address book if receiving a call; searching a message with content containing the phone number when it is determined that the contact information of the phone number is not stored in the address book; obtaining predetermined type information from the content of the message, in which the predetermined type information at least includes name information; and displaying the name information as the contact information of the phone number on a display interface of the call.
