In an embodiment, a method comprises: receiving, by one or more processors of a cloud computing platform, context data from a wearable multimedia device, the wearable multimedia device including at least one data capture device for capturing the context data; creating a data processing pipeline with one or more applications based on one or more characteristics of the context data and a user request; processing the context data through the data processing pipeline; and sending output of the data processing pipeline to the wearable multimedia device or other device for presentation of the output.

In-vehicle handsfree apparatus and data transfer method

When receiving from the cellular phone outgoing call history data and incoming call history data, which were stored in the cellular phone before establishing the Bluetooth communication link, the in-vehicle navigation apparatus stores, in a work memory, the received outgoing call history data and the received incoming call history data, equally to, of the navigation apparatus itself, outgoing call history data and incoming call history data. An outgoing call operation then becomes possible using outgoing call history data and incoming call history data, which are stored in the work memory.

Providing hands-free service to multiple devices

Techniques for providing audio services to multiple devices are described. For instance, connections between a hands-free unit and multiple wireless devices are established. The connections are themselves used to establish active communication channels, such as active audio communication channels, between the hands-free unit and the wireless devices, such as during a phone call. Upon establishment of an active communication channel with one of the wireless devices, the connections to the other wireless devices are disconnected—and/or additional connections refused—for the duration of the active communication channel. Furthermore, a routing module in various embodiments permits multiple hands-free units to route active communication channels to each other depending on user location.

Voice-activated call pick-up for mobile device

Disclosed embodiments are directed an application program configured to run on a user's mobile device can allow voice-activated call pick-up to the user, without the user having to use his or her hands for picking up the call. For example, the application program can initially be trained to a user's voice command. When an incoming call is received at the mobile device, the user can pick up the call by issuing a voice command. In some embodiments, the application program can determine whether to allow voice-activated pick-up of calls based on data collected from multiple sensors associated with the vehicle, the mobile device, or a remote source.

This disclosure describes, in part, techniques for establishing network-based data communications (e.g., voice calls, video calls, etc.) between a user device of a user and a remote device of another user, and transitioning the data communications to a different user device of the user based on various types of information. In some examples, the user devices may be located in one or more environments of the user, and the data communications may be transitioned between the user devices based, at least in part, on a location of the user in the environment(s) relative to the multiple devices. For instance, if a user device is performing data communications with the remote device, but it is determined that the user has moved into a closer proximity to another user device, the performance of the data communications may be transitioned to the other user device to which the user is in closer proximity.

In a case where there is a plurality of mobile terminals determined by the determiner to be in a state of being connectable by near field communication, a decider decides a mobile terminal to be connected by near field communication on the basis of boarding positions of a plurality of passengers specified by a plurality of pieces of biometric information associated with the plurality of mobile terminals. A communication controller connects the mobile terminal decided by the decider and the vehicle device by near field communication.

A method is disclosed, the method comprising obtaining at least one first information indicative of audio data gathered by at least one first microphone, and at least one second information indicative of audio data gathered by at least one second microphone; determining a differential information indicative of one or more differences between at least two pieces of information, wherein the differential information is determined based, at least in part, on the at least one first information and the at least one second information; and compensating of an impact onto the audio data, wherein audio data of the first information and/or the second information is compensated based, at least in part, on the determined differential information.
