Ambient sound adjustments during call handling
Apparatuses, methods and computer programs are described comprising: providing an incoming call indication in response to an incoming call, the incoming call indication including an initial ambient audio signal comprising a combination of first ambient audio and second ambient audio; receiving an ambient audio control command; and adjusting the initial ambient audio signal to generate an adjusted ambient audio signal depending on the ambient audio control command.

SYSTEM FOR CONTROLLING AND SCREENING INCOMING CALLS
A system for screening and routing incoming phone calls that includes an interceptor device which is operatively engaged with the phone and is arranged to receive all incoming calls to the phone. When an incoming call to the phone is received by the interceptor device, programming provided in the interceptor device compares a phone number associated with the incoming call with a list of stored contact phone numbers. The phone is caused to ring if the phone number associated with originating the incoming call matches one of the stored contact phone numbers. The incoming phone call is disconnected if the phone number associated with originating the incoming call fails to match any of the stored contact phone numbers. The incoming call is routed to a known or designated contact from the stored contact phone numbers.
Bus transceiver with ring suppression
A transceiver includes a driver stage and a transient-triggered ring suppression circuit. The driver stage has a first transistor coupled between a supply voltage terminal and a first bus terminal and a second transistor coupled between a ground and a second bus terminal. The transient-triggered ring suppression circuit is coupled to the first and second transistors. The transient-triggered ring suppression circuit is configured to be enabled upon transition of the transceiver from a dominant state to a recessive state. Further, while the transceiver is in the recessive state, the transient-triggered ring suppression circuit is configured to attenuate ringing on at least one of the first or second bus terminals.

SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR IDENTIFYING CALL STATUS IN REAL-TIME
Exemplary embodiments of the present disclosure are directed towards a system and method for identifying call status in real-time, the system comprising a classifier module configured to analyze recorded audio files based on the pre-defined labelled set using signal processing audio classification and machine learning techniques on a first communication device, a second communication device, and a machine learning device. The classifier module splits the recorded audio files into chunks on the first communication device, the second communication device, and machine learning device in real-time. The classifier module extracts the audio features from audio files. The classifier module creates linear support vector classification model and trains linear support vector classification model using audio files. The classifier module removes invalid states from audio files and gives final state of call status reason and metadata by applying state machine rules on first communication device, second communication device, and machine learning device.
System and method for managing calls
A computer-implemented method for managing calls in a collaboration environment is provided. The method includes receiving, by a processor, a call into a collaboration session of the collaboration environment. The method also includes identifying, by the processor, a user from a plurality of users associated with the collaboration session, based on at least one of contextual information regarding the call and information regarding the plurality of users. The method further includes providing, by the processor, an interface on a device associated with the identified user, wherein the interface enables the identified user to instruct the device to handle the call within the collaboration session.

Systems for identifying the answering party of an automated voice call
Disclosed herein are systems and methods for determining whether an automated telephone call has been answered by a particular user, a different person, or a voicemail service. In response to determining that the call has been answered by the user, a different person, or a voicemail service, the systems and methods can output different respective messages, initiate messaging to the user via alternate communication paths, or perform other actions.
Establishing a voice call
A user equipment (UE), which is able to use a plurality of different wireless access technologies, receives a request to establish a voice call. The UE determines whether voice over a first wireless access technology of the different wireless access technologies is supported, and responsive to determining that voice over the first wireless access technology is not supported, the UE attempts to establish the voice call over a second wireless access technology of the different wireless access technologies.
