Information processing system, information processing method, and non-transitory storage medium
The information processing system includes: an analysis unit that analyzes a demand level of a plurality of reception desks based on a correlation between time and a characteristic of a visitor or a characteristic of a related item acquired from a video including the visitor visiting at least one facility including a plurality of different types of reception desks or the related item related to the visitor; and a determination unit that determines a distribution of personnel to the plurality of reception desks based on the demand level.
Multi-channel video intercom systems with access to advanced digital services
A multi-channel video intercom system with access to advanced digital services includes a two-wire communication bus for audio, video, and data communications in different communication channels, at least one outdoor panel having a camera connected to the communication bus, at least one power supply connected to the communication bus to provide power to the rest of the video intercom system, at least one user terminal connected to the communication bus wherein at least one terminal is connected to the at least one outdoor panel, and wherein at least one terminal is a video intercom terminal. The system further includes a communications gateway connected to the communication bus through a first connection interface and Internet connected through a second connection interface wherein the gateway is allowed access to advanced digital services via the Internet from at least one video intercom terminal through at least one communication bus channel available for data.
Systems and Methods of Detecting and Responding to a Visitor to a Smart Home Environment
A method of detecting and responding to a visitor to a smart home environment via an electronic greeting system of the smart home environment, including determining that a visitor is approaching an entryway of the smart home environment; initiating a facial recognition operation while the visitor is approaching the entryway; initiating an observation window in response to the determination that a visitor is approaching the entryway; obtaining context information from one or more sensors of the smart home environment during the observation window; and at the end of the time window, initiating a response to the detected approach of the visitor based on the context information and/or an outcome of the facial recognition operation.

Remote access control
A system that allows a user to access a secured area by confirming location of the user near the secured area and receipt of an access word by the system. A user in possession of a mobile device may be detected at the entrance to a secured location. The system can select a question asking for a passcode corresponding to certain access to the secured location. The question can be spoken to a user through a loudspeaker at the secured location. The user's spoken response can be processed by the system, for example using keyword spotting, to determine if the proper access word is included. If it is, the system can grant access to the secured area.
Remote device interface and telephone entry system
Methods and systems for granting access to a building are disclosed. The system includes a telephone entry system associated with the building, a processor in communication with the telephone entry system, a non-transitory computer readable medium. The non-transitory computer-readable medium includes one or more programming instructions that when executed by the processor, cause the processor to receive a request including an access code for access to the building code, determine whether the access code is valid, and transmit to the telephone entry system associated with the building a sequence of dual-tone multi-frequency (DTMF) tones to cause the telephone entry system to grant access to the building in response to determining that the access code is valid.
DOORBELL COMMUNICATION SYSTEMS AND METHODS
Doorbells often include a button to enable visitors to ring a chime to summon building occupants. In some embodiments, doorbells include a camera to take pictures of visitors. In several embodiments, doorbells include covers that are light filters. These light filters can cover infrared light sources such as infrared light emitting diodes. The light filters can pass infrared light while blocking visible light. In several embodiments, a front portion of a camera assembly fits through a hole in a light filter. Light filters can help secure camera assemblies and can form a portion of a doorbell's outer housing.
SYSTEMS AND METHODS OF PRESENTING APPROPRIATE ACTIONS FOR RESPONDING TO A VISITOR TO A SMART HOME ENVIRONMENT
A method of presenting appropriate actions for responding to a visitor to a smart home environment via an electronic greeting system of the smart home environment, including detecting a visitor of the smart home environment; obtaining context information from the smart home environment regarding the visitor; based on the context information, identifying a plurality of appropriate actions available to a user of a client device for interacting with the visitor via the electronic greeting system; and causing the identified actions to be presented to the user of the client device.
