Mobile Network Handling of Simultaneous Usage Sessions
Concepts and technologies are disclosed herein for mobile network handling of simultaneous data usage session records. A system can include a network session server that has a processor and a memory storing instructions that configure a processor to perform operations. The operations can include obtaining, from a session probe within a core network device, a raw mobile data set associated with a user equipment. The operations can include determining that the user equipment engages in a simultaneous usage session based on the raw mobile data set. The operations can include identifying targeted domains that are present within the raw mobile data set, and creating a raw session record for each of the targeted domains associated with the simultaneous usage session.
Restoring functionality of a mobile device
A method and system of restoring a functionality of a mobile user device. A lock screen is displayed on the display of the user device. An international mobile subscriber identity (IMSI) of a subscriber identity module (SIM) card presently installed in the user device is determined. The IMSI is sent to a Remote Recovery Server (RRS). A message is received from the RRS indicating whether the IMSI is authorized for the user device and whether an account of the user device is replenished at least in part. Upon determining that the IMSI is authorized for the user device and the account of the user device is replenished at least in part, at least one function that was previously restricted is restored.
DATA SERVICE CONTROL METHOD AND RELATED DEVICE
A data service control method and a related device are disclosed. The method includes: determining, by a PGW, a status of a data service switch of UE; if the status of the data service switch is that the data service switch is turned off, after the PGW receives a first data packet that comes from or goes to the UE, determining, by the PGW, whether the first data packet belongs to a specified type; and forwarding, by the PGW, the first data packet if the first data packet belongs to the specified type; or discarding, by the PGW, the first data packet if the first data packet does not belong to the specified type. During implementation of embodiments of the present disclosure, when the data service switch of the UE is turned off, data traffic of the UE can be saved.

Communications methods and apparatus related to web initiated sessions
A client device, e.g., a smartphone including a web browser, requests a call authorization token from a web server, e.g., a web page server. The web server, acting on behalf of a company, whose web page is hosted and whose phone corresponds to the called party, screens incoming requests and decides whether or not to issue an authorization token, e.g., a signed token including an encrypted portion. The web server issues a call authorization token and communicate the issued token to the client device. The client device includes the received issued call authorization token in a signal, e.g., a SIP INVITE signal, which it generates and sends to a session border controller (SBC). The session border controller processes the received authorization token and checks the authorization token to validate the received token. The SBC establishes a communications session if the received token passes the validation check.
METHOD AND SYSTEM FOR ENHANCING CHARGING FOR CO-LOCATED SGW AND PGW
The present disclosure relates to a method of charging packets in a mobile network using a combined packet gateway (PGW) and serving gateway (SGW) which includes receiving a data packet; determining at least one of a rating group and a service rule associated with the data packet; and determining a state of a user device associated with the data packet. When the determined state of the user device comprises a connected state, the method includes charging the data packet, including updating an amount of credit in an account associated with the user device based on the at least one of the rating group and the service rule, and sending the data packet to an enodeB. When the determined state of the user device comprises an idle state, the method includes preventing delivery of the data packet to the enodeB such that the data packet is not charged.
Detection and blocking of cloned mobile devices
A method is disclosed for blocking a cloned mobile device by a processor of a network. The processor receives a first registration from a first mobile device at a first location. The first registration includes a device identifier and a phone number. The processor then confirms that a second registration from a second mobile device at a second location includes the device identifier and the phone number and calculates a first fraud score for the first mobile device and a second fraud score for the second mobile device. The processor then determines that the second mobile device is the cloned mobile device, when the second fraud score exceeds the first score, and blocks the cloned mobile device from registering on the network.
INFORMATION PROCESSING APPARATUS, INFORMATION PROCESSING SYSTEM, INFORMATION PROCESSING METHOD, AND NON-TRANSITORY COMPUTER-READABLE MEDIUM
An information processing apparatus (1) includes: an acquisition unit (11) that acquires information regarding a position of each of a plurality of communication terminals connected to a network; a first identification unit (12) that identifies a communication terminal located in a disaster region among the plurality of communication terminals as a first disaster response terminal based on an acquisition result; a second identification unit (13) that identifies a second disaster response terminal communicating with the first disaster response terminal based on a communication record; and a charging unit (14) that generates charging data for communication such that charging is not performed for communication from the first disaster response terminal and the second disaster response terminal.
METHOD AND DEVICE FOR CONTROLLING USE OF EXTERNAL DATA NETWORK VIA MOBILE ACCESS POINT
A method and a device for controlling external data network use via a mobile Access Point (AP) are provided. A host device set as the mobile AP determines whether a data-less mode is set, blocks a client device from using the external data network via the mobile AP, if the data-less mode is set, and permits the client device to use the external data network via the mobile AP, if the data-less mode is released. A client device connected to a mobile AP determines whether a data-less mode is set for a host device set as the mobile AP, if the client device is connected to the host device in a state of being connected to a wireless data network, maintains the connection to the wireless data network, if the data-less mode is set, and releases the connection to the wireless data network, if the data-less mode is released.
