Systems and methods for generating new record objects based on electronic activities
The systems and methods relate to updating a system of record by selectively generating record objects for the system of record according to information generated by parsing the electronic activities according to specific matching rules and/or filtering rules. By selectively generating the record objects in the specific manners described herein, the systems and methods can provide for better determinations about whether to generate new record objects that match the information generated by parsing the electronic activities, or to update an existing record object.
Systems and methods for determining a completion score of a record object from electronic activities
The present disclosure relates to a method for determining a completion score for a record object based on electronic activities. The method includes accessing record objects, each of which corresponds to a record object type and includes object fields having object field-values. The method includes selecting one of the record objects. The method includes identifying electronic activities transmitted or received associated with the record object. Each of the electronic activities has a timestamp indicating a receipt time or transmission time of the respective electronic activity. The method includes determining a participant of each of the electronic activities. The method includes determining a completion score indicating a likelihood of completing an event associated with the record object based on the timestamp of each of the electronic activities and the participant of each of the electronic activities. The method includes storing an association between the record object and the completion score.
CHARGING METHOD, APPARATUS AND SYSTEM
A charging method, apparatus and system are provided. The charging method includes: receiving a first request message from a Network Function (NF), wherein the first request message carries following information: first Quality of Service (QoS) information; or second QoS information; or second QoS information and updated first QoS information; the first QoS information comprises requested QoS information or negotiated QoS information; and the second QoS information comprises QoS information actually used after the NF sends a previous first request message; and performing charging according to the QoS information carried in the first request message.
Systems and methods for matching electronic activities directly to record objects of systems of record
The system described herein can automatically match, link, or otherwise associate electronic activities with one or more record objects. For an electronic activity that is eligible or qualifies to be matched with one or more record objects, the system can identify one or more set of rules or rule sets. Using the rule sets, the system can identify candidate record objects. The system can then rank the identified candidate record objects to select one or more record objects with which to associate the electronic activity. The system can then store an association between the electronic activity and the selected one or more record objects.
Method and Apparatus for Dynamic Realtime Sharing of Credit Units for Online Charging
Dynamic adjustment of consumption limits governing the consumption of credit units from a “provider account” (24) offers numerous advantages in the context of Online Charging (OC), both to the involved communication network operator(s) and to the users or applications associated with the UEs (12) that use communication services subject to credit availability in the provider account (24). Specifically, two or more “consumer” accounts (26), each associated with one or more UEs (12), consume credit units from the provider account (24), for authorizing communication-usage by the associated UE(s) (12), subject to a respective consumption limit, which may be regarded as defining an allocated share of the credit units in the provider account (24), for use by the consumer account (26). Adjusting the consumption limits one or more times during the validity period of the credit units offers the opportunity to rebalance the credit allocations, such as in view of aggregate rates or amounts of consumption or consumption imbalances.
Network-charging communication-failure handling
A telecommunication system can include a network flow controller (e.g., SMF) and a network-charging node (e.g., CHF). The flow controller can generate a first charging-event record associated with a network session. The flow controller can detect an outage at least partly by determining that no network-charging node is available to receive the first charging-event record and, in response, mark the first charging-event record to provide a first marked charging-event record. The flow controller can store the first marked charging-event record in a buffer. After the marking, the flow controller can determine that a network-charging node is available to receive the first marked charging-event record, and, in response, send the first marked charging-event record to the network-charging node. The network-charging node can determine a charging-data record indicating occurrence of an event during the outage.
Method and Apparatus for Handling Background Data Transfer
The present application generally relates to wireless communication technology. More particularly, the present application relates to a method and an for handling Background Data Transfer (BDT) for a User Equipment (UE). The present application also relates to computer program product adapted for the same purpose. According to one embodiment, a method for handling Background Data Transfer (BDT) for a User Equipment (UE) comprises: a) transmitting, from a node for Application Function (AF) to a node for Policy Control Function (PCF), a policy request indicating the BDT is UE trajectory-relevant; and b) at the node for AF, receiving from the node for PCF, a plurality of BDT policy groups, each of which is associated with a corresponding section of a trajectory.
Device-assisted services for protecting network capacity
Device Assisted Services (DAS) for protecting network capacity is provided. In some embodiments, DAS for protecting network capacity includes monitoring a network service usage activity of the communications device in network communication; classifying the network service usage activity for differential network access control for protecting network capacity; and associating the network service usage activity with a network service usage control policy based on a classification of the network service usage activity to facilitate differential network access control for protecting network capacity.
SYSTEMS AND METHODS OF GENERATING AN ENGAGEMENT PROFILE
The present disclosure relates to systems and methods for determining an engagement profile of a participant by associating electronic activities to a profile. It may generate the engagement profile based on analysis of the electronic activity level. An example implementation may contain the following steps. The system may access for a first record object a plurality of electronic activities linked with the first record object. The system may identify for a participant from the plurality of electronic activities a set of electronic activities including the participant. The system may determine an engagement profile of the participant based on a first number of electronic activities of the set of electronic activities sent by the participant, a second number of the set of electronic activities received by the participant and a temporal distribution of the set of electronic activities. The system may store the engagement profile in one or more data structures.
CHARGING AND COLLECTION FUNCTION IN MICROSERVICES
Various methods for a 3GPP defined Charging and Collection Function are employed that may use a microservices approach. The microservice approach may decompose the function of the network elements into component level functions that may be deployed as separate functional elements.
