Charging management method, user plane function entity, and control plane function entity
Embodiments of this application disclose a charging management method, a user plane function entity, and a control plane function entity. The method includes: receiving, by a UP, a first usage reporting rule (URR) and a second URR sent by a CP, where the first URR is correlated with the second URR; when usage information on the UP reaches a threshold of the first URR, obtaining, by the UP, usage information corresponding to the first URR and usage information corresponding to a third URR correlated with the first URR; and sending, by the UP to the CP, the usage information corresponding to the first URR and the usage information corresponding to the third URR, so that the CP generates a charging data record based on the usage information corresponding to the first URR and the usage information corresponding to the third URR.
MARKET FOR SELLING AND SHARING MOBILE DATA
The present invention relates to a method for setting up a connection between a seller device (10) and a buyer device (30) for enabling the buyer device (30) to send and receive data via the seller (10). The method comprises sending, from the seller device (10) to a server (20), data pertaining to an offer (12), the data pertaining to the offer including an identification of the seller device (10); storing the data pertaining to the offer (12) in a memory of the server (20), the memory being configured to store data pertaining to at least one offer from a at least one seller device; sending, from the buyer device (30) to the server (20), a request (32) for a list of nearby seller devices; at the server (20), compiling, from the data pertaining to the at least one offer stored in the memory, the list of nearby seller devices, by identifying one or more seller devices being positioned in proximity of a position of the buyer device (30), the list of nearby seller devices comprising the data pertaining to the offers of the identified one or more seller devices; sending, from the server (20) to the buyer device (30), the list of nearby seller devices; and sending, from the buyer device (30) to at least one of the seller devices (10) of the list of nearby seller devices, a connection request (36) for connecting the buyer device (30) to the at least one of the seller devices (10), thereby enabling the buyer device (30) to send and receive data via the seller device (10).
Fraud detection in interactive voice response systems
Systems and methods for call detail record (CDR) analysis to determine a risk score for a call and identify fraudulent activity and for fraud detection in Interactive Voice Response (IVR) systems. An example method may store information extracted from received calls. Queries of the stored information may be performed to select data using keys, wherein each key relates to one of the received calls, and wherein the queries are parallelized. The selected data may be transformed into feature vectors, wherein each feature vector relates to one of the received calls and includes a velocity feature and at least one of a behavior feature or a reputation feature. A risk score for the call may be generated during the call based on the feature vectors.
Offline charging of communications services
The disclosed embodiments include a method for offline charging performed by an anchoring node of a telecommunications network. The anchoring node can send a request to an online charging system (OCS), where the request is for online metering of a call by a subscriber of the telecommunications network. The anchoring node may obtain an indication of an exception to the online metering of the call. In response, the anchoring node can perform a default call handling (DCH) procedure to allow the call on the telecommunications network despite an inability to perform the online metering. The anchoring node also generates a modified charging detail record (CDR) that includes an indication of the exception. The anchoring node can then send a message, which includes at least an indication of the modified CDR, to enable a mediation server to perform offline charging for the call.
System, method, and computer program for dynamic switching between online and offline charging for a network session
As described herein, a system, method, and computer program are provided for dynamic switching between online and offline charging for a network session. In use, a network session is monitored. Additionally, during the network session, one or more characteristics of the network session are determined, based on the monitoring of the network session. Further, a dynamic selection is made between offline charging and online charging for the network session, based on the one or more characteristics of the network session.
Systems and methods for restricting electronic activities from being linked with record objects
The present disclosure relates to restricting electronic activities from being linked with record objects. According to at least one aspect of the disclosure, a method can include accessing, by one or more processors, a plurality of electronic activities, accessing a plurality of record objects of one or more systems of record, identifying an electronic activity of the plurality of electronic activities to match to one or more record objects, determining a data source provider associated with providing access to the electronic activity, and identifying a system of record corresponding to the determined data source provider. The system of record can include a plurality of candidate record objects to which to match the electronic activity. The method can include restricting the electronic activity from being linked with the at least one record object.
DEVICE FAILURE INFLUENCE RANGE GRASPING APPARATUS, DEVICE FAILURE INFLUENCE RANGE GRASPING METHOD, AND PROGRAM
Provided are an apparatus failure influence range recognition apparatus, an apparatus failure influence range recognition method, and a program capable of billing for a proper call charge for a call suspected of non-provision of a service. An apparatus failure influence range recognition apparatus (10) includes a reception unit (11) configured to receive apparatus failure information which is failure information of an element constituting a network, user information which is information regarding a user of a service, and call details information of an IP telephone, and a calculation unit (13) configured to calculate, by linking the appa.rakus failure information, the user information, and the call details information with each other, a subtracted call charge with respect to a call charge for a suspected call influenced by an apparatus failure.
ONLINE CHARGING OF RO FAIL-OPEN SESSIONS
Techniques for allowing online charging in cases where the online charging system (OCS) is unreachable or partially unreachable are discussed herein. For example, when the OCS cannot be reached and is unable to authorize the requested services, the services can be provided (e.g., a voice communication session established between two devices) without having to wait for authorization from the OCS. Upon completion of the communication session, the OCS is contacted to report the actual number of units used during the session so that the account of the subscriber can be adjusted. In some examples, the IMS tags the CDR provided to the billing system to indicate that the OCS was not able to authorize the communication session. In this way, the billing system is notified that the OCS is to be contacted so that the subscriber's balance can be adjusted.
CHARGING AND COLLECTION FUNCTION IN MICROSERVICES
Various methods for a 3GPP defined Charging and Collection Function are employed that may use a microservices approach. The microservice approach may decompose the function of the network elements into component level functions that may be deployed as separate functional elements.
PREPROCESSING AND STORAGE OF CLOUD SERVICE USAGE REPORTS
Systems and methods for streaming billing data associated with third-party network resources consumed by a managed network to a remote network management platform are disclosed. Streaming of billing usage data associated with third-party resources may use resource identifiers to associate resources with line items in a service bill generated by the third-party network. A proxy server in the managed network may intermediate streaming from the third-party network to a remote server in a computational instance of the remote network management platform. Billing data may be recorded partly in a metric-base database configured for storing time series data corresponding to usage quantities of third-party resources consumed by the managed network per unit time, and partly in a static records database configured for storing database records associated with the time series data, and including data for identifying the third-party resources and for recording static information relating to billing for the third-party resources.
