TECHNOLOGIES FOR PROVIDING FUNCTION AS SERVICE TIERED SCHEDULING AND MAPPING FOR MULTI-OPERATOR ARCHITECTURES
Technologies for determining a set of edge resources to offload a workload from a client compute device based on a brokering logic provided by a service provider include a device that includes circuitry that is in communication with edge resources. The circuitry is to receive a brokering logic from a service provider receive a request from a client compute device, wherein the request includes a function to be used to execute the request and one or more parameters associated with the client compute device, determine the one or more parameters, select, as a function of the one or more parameters and the brokering logic, a physical implementation to perform the function, wherein the physical implementation indicates a set of edge resources and a performance level for each edge resource of the set of edge resources, and perform, in response to a selection of the physical implementation, the request using the set of edge resources associated with the physical implementation.
SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR DETECTING FRAUD IN INTERNATIONAL TELECOMMUNICATION TRAFFIC
A system for detecting fraud in international telecommunication traffic, includes: a transactions registry accessible by multiple operators and/or carriers; a logging module installed with multiple operators and/or carriers configured to add an entry in the transactions registry by an operator and/or carrier handling a call, wherein an entry comprises the calling number, the called number and timing information for the call; a fraud detection and classification module configured to: select from the transactions registry a group of correlated entries representing the call; compare the correlated entries to detect an anomaly due to fraud and to classify the call into a fraud type.
Adaptive resource allocation to facilitate device mobility and management of uncertainty in communications
Communications services are provided to a device. For instance, where a communications resource is being used by a device via a first communications service provider (CSP) component associated with a first CSP, based on a probabilistic analysis of loading parameters received from a device at the first CSP component. A likelihood that the device will move can be predicted, comprising determining the likelihood is not less than a threshold likelihood. If likely to move, and based on the loading parameters, a loading profile associated with a user of the device is updated resulting in updated likelihoods of usages of the communication resource by the device via respective other CSP components other than the first CSP component. Further, based on the updated likelihoods of usages of the communication resource, at least part of the communications resource can be allocated to the respective other CSP components to facilitate communications with the device.
VEHICLE, NETWORK NODE, APPARATUS, COMPUTER PROGRAM, AND METHOD FOR SELECTING A MOBILE COMMUNICATIONS SYSTEM FOR A MOBILE COMMUNICATIONS SERVICE
A transportation vehicle, a network node, an apparatus, a computer program, and a method for selecting a mobile communications system for a mobile communications service. The method includes obtaining for each of multiple mobile communications services information on a required quality of service (rQoS) of the mobile communications services, determining for each of multiple mobile communications systems information on a predicted quality of service, and selecting from the multiple mobile communications systems a mobile communications system for each of multiple mobile communications services based on the information on the rQoS and the pQoS of the mobile communications system.
Method and system for multi-operator anchor service
A method, a device, and a non-transitory storage medium are described in which a multi-operator anchor service is provided. A multi-operator anchor device may provide a centralized user plane anchor for traffic of end devices associated with multiple networks and operators. The multi-operator anchor device may provide virtual routing and forwarding to isolate traffic among the networks and operators. The multi-operator anchor device may provide a charging service for traffic and a handover service based on end device mobility.
VOWIFI REGISTRATION CONTROL METHOD AND APPARATUS, ELECTRONIC DEVICE, AND SERVER
A VoWiFi registration control method and apparatus, an electronic device, and a server, are provided. A method on an electronic device side includes: obtaining first feature information of an electronic device; and controlling, in a case that the first feature information does not match second feature information, termination of VoWiFi registration in a process of performing VoWiFi registration. The first feature information is position feature information determined based on a first position of the electronic device, and the second feature information is position feature information determined based on a second position of the electronic device.
Intermediary service bureau system and method
The present disclosure provides details on an intermediary service bureau (ISB) system which includes an ISB center that acts as an intermediary communication center between communication devices used by correctional facilities and contract providers. The ISB records communications, stores security data, and provides front end processing to facilitate an inmate to communicate with an outside party by way of a contract provider. Further, the ISB provides accounting services for inmates and friends and family that use services provided the contract provider. The contract provider provides security and routing services for the ISB by obtaining data from the ISB and updating data at the ISB according to the communications.
OVER THE AIR PROVISIONING OF MOBILE DEVICE SETTINGS
A mobile device has a display, a memory, an antenna, a transceiver connected to the antenna for communicating voice and data through a wireless communication system, at least one processor, and executable instructions stored in the memory. The executable instructions, when executed by the at least one processor, (i) cause the mobile device to communicate wirelessly with one or more remote servers; (ii) cause the mobile device to display on the display, a user interface for enabling the user of the mobile device to select a mobile network service provider; (iii) in response to a selection, cause the mobile device to be configured for use with a first one of a plurality of mobile network service providers and enable access by the mobile device of wireless communication service; and (iv) in response to a selection, cause the mobile device to be configured for use with a second one of the plurality of mobile network service providers and enable access by the mobile device of wireless communication service provided by the second one of the plurality of mobile network service providers for a service plan offered by the second one of the plurality of mobile network service providers.
Distributed ledger system for management and tracking of exchanges of wireless services between wireless service providers
The present disclosure is directed to using distributed ledger architectures to for exchange of wireless communication services. In one example, a distributed ledger system for facilitating an exchange among wireless service providers includes a plurality of wireless service providers and a plurality of nodes. Each of the plurality of nodes is configured to facilitate an exchange between a first wireless service provider and a second wireless service provider for roaming services; generate a recording of terms and conditions of the exchange between the first wireless service provider and the second wireless service provider to yield an agreement; record the agreement on the distributed ledger system; facilitate independent evaluation of performance parameters of the exchange by each of the first wireless service provider and the second wireless service provider to independently evaluate performance parameters of the exchange; and trigger settlement for the exchange based on the independent evaluation of the performance parameters by the first and second wireless service providers.
Event Triggered Network Migration of Subscribers
A method includes receiving, by an equipment identity register application in the target mobile network, an International Mobile Equipment Identity (IMEI) of a user equipment (UE) associated with the subscriber and a Subscriber Identity Module (SIM) identifier (ID) identifying an inactive SIM card inserted into the UE or an inactive electronic SIM (eSIM) profile installed at the UE, determining that the UE is attempting to attach to the target mobile network for a first time based on the IMEI and the SIM ID, adding an event to an event queue of the target mobile network, and processing the event by accessing subscriber data stored at the source mobile network to validate that the IMEI of the UE is indicated in the subscriber data stored at the source mobile network, wherein the subscriber data includes a subscriber account indicated by the IMEI of the UE.
