A method and an apparatus for managing a network are disclosed. For example, the method collects a plurality of call detail records (CDRs), and organizes one or more parameters of the CDRs in accordance with a plurality of cause codes. The method displays the one or more parameters of the CDRs in a hierarchical representation comprising a plurality of screen displays.

Telecommunication services systems and methods are disclosed. The telecommunication services systems and methods preferably enable a buyer to certify and activate a used wireless telecommunications device. The systems and methods may also be employed to provide the buyer with specialized pricing options and other customized services.

Systems and methods are provided to facilitate donations via mobile communications. In one aspect, a system includes a data storage facility and an interchange having a common format processor and a plurality of converters to interface with a plurality of different controllers of mobile communications. The converters are configured to communicate with the controllers in different formats and with the common format processor in a common format. For a payment to a merchant, the common format processor provides a user interface configured to present charity donation options in response to a phone number being specified in the user interface to identify a fund source. The common format processor uses one of the converters to communicate with a mobile phone at the phone number to confirm the payment to the merchant and a donation to a separate charity organization specified via the user interface.

A computer-implemented method for provisioning a feature associated with a brand of a wireless communication network may include loading a trigger condition in a catalog for triggering the feature, wherein an in-memory cache of the catalog is accessible by a network provisioning engine of the wireless communication network. At the network provisioning engine, the method may further include receiving, from a billing system computer, a transaction request for a subscriber having a rate plan associated with the brand, using a brand indication in the transaction request to locate the in-memory cache of the catalog, and determining whether the transaction request meets the trigger condition. If the transaction request meets the trigger condition, the method may further include determining a network node for provisioning the feature, and sending instructions to the network node to provision the feature in the subscriber's rate plan.

A method for providing Internet access to a customer of a service provider wherein the service provider takes over the costs for the customer's Internet use. The method includes the customer's user equipment generating a service start notification message to a server of the service provider in response to the customer agreeing to the service and commencement of use of the service. The service start notification message triggers sending a query to a database of the service provider containing customer data, and confirming the customer has access rights for getting Internet access at the service provider's expenses. The service provider generates and sends out a request message to the mobile communication provider of the customer and requests an intermediate change of the customer's mobile communication contract so the costs for loading Internet data on the customer's user equipment will be temporarily charged to the service provider rather than the customer.

The present disclosure provides details on an intermediary service bureau (ISB) system which includes an ISB center that acts as an intermediary communication center between communication devices used by correctional facilities and contract providers. The ISB records communications, stores security data, and provides front end processing to facilitate an inmate to communicate with an outside party by way of a contract provider. Further, the ISB provides accounting services for inmates and friends and family that use services provided the contract provider. The contract provider provides security and routing services for the ISB by obtaining data from the ISB and updating data at the ISB according to the communications.

The disclosure provides a method for predicting a user object in a real time bidding and an advertisement server. The method includes: obtaining telecommunication data, and building a user behavior model based on the telecommunication data by using at least one of machine learning algorithms; receiving a bid request comprising an advertisement identifier which does not have at least one of an identifier field of a certain user object and an advertisement-related identifier from an advertising trading platform; and predicting a first candidate identifier of a first user object corresponding to the bid request according to the advertisement identifier through the user behavior model.

The executable instructions, when executed by the at least one processor, (i) cause the mobile device to communicate wirelessly with one or more remote servers; (ii) cause the mobile device to display on the display, a user interface for enabling the user of the mobile device to select a mobile network service provider; (iii) in response to a selection, cause the mobile device to be configured for use with a first one of a plurality of mobile network service providers and enable access by the mobile device of wireless communication service; and (iv) in response to a selection, cause the mobile device to be configured for use with a second one of the plurality of mobile network service providers and enable access by the mobile device of wireless communication service provided by the second one of the plurality of mobile network service providers for a service plan offered by the second one of the plurality of mobile network service providers.

A network node of a communications network performs operations to determine a data traffic inactivity timer value based on subscriber event data, which identifies a subscriber and service characteristics using a communication session, being processed through a predictive model which uses historical usage data indicating idle times previously measured by charging trigger functions (CTFs) for the subscriber and the service characteristics. The operation further communicate the data traffic inactivity timer value to a CTF to configure monitoring of inactivity of the service using the communication session and to trigger a release operation related to the communication session when a data traffic inactivity timer using the data traffic inactivity timer value is determined to expire based on the monitored inactivity of the service.

The present disclosure is directed to using distributed ledger architectures to for exchange of wireless communication services. In one example, a distributed ledger system for facilitating an exchange among wireless service providers includes a plurality of wireless service providers and a plurality of nodes. Each of the plurality of nodes is configured to facilitate an exchange between a first wireless service provider and a second wireless service provider for roaming services; generate a recording of terms and conditions of the exchange between the first wireless service provider and the second wireless service provider to yield an agreement; record the agreement on the distributed ledger system; facilitate independent evaluation of performance parameters of the exchange by each of the first wireless service provider and the second wireless service provider to independently evaluate performance parameters of the exchange; and trigger settlement for the exchange based on the independent evaluation of the performance parameters by the first and second wireless service providers.
