PREPROCESSING AND STORAGE OF CLOUD SERVICE USAGE REPORTS
Systems and methods for streaming billing data associated with third-party network resources consumed by a managed network to a remote network management platform are disclosed. Streaming of billing usage data associated with third-party resources may use resource identifiers to associate resources with line items in a service bill generated by the third-party network. A proxy server in the managed network may intermediate streaming from the third-party network to a remote server in a computational instance of the remote network management platform. Billing data may be recorded partly in a metric-base database configured for storing time series data corresponding to usage quantities of third-party resources consumed by the managed network per unit time, and partly in a static records database configured for storing database records associated with the time series data, and including data for identifying the third-party resources and for recording static information relating to billing for the third-party resources.
SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR PROVIDING A MICRO-SERVICES COMMUNICATION PLATFORM
A multi-tenant media communication platform system and methods. The platform system includes media communication micro-services and micro-service configuration for a plurality of entities configured for use of the platform system. Enrolling an entity in the platform system includes setting entity configuration for use of the platform system by the entity. A micro-service request is processed according to the entity configuration. The micro-service request is a request for use of at least one micro-service of the platform system on behalf of the entity. Use of each micro-service is accounted for on behalf of the entity. Billing information for the entity is generated based on the accounting for the use of each micro-service on behalf of the entity. Entity configuration includes micro-service configuration, and micro-service configuration specifies at least one of: an endpoint mapping to at least one application logic URI, an event callback URI, and an event application logic URI.
Charging control apparatus, method, and system
A charging control apparatus, a method, and a system are disclosed. When a user equipment (UE) accesses a service that charges an over the top (OTT) service (SP), the charging control apparatus receives flow description information from a policy charging enforcement function (PCEF), determines a service identifier corresponding to the data flow; and sends the service identifier to the PCEF, so that the PCEF charges for the service according to the service identifier. When the UE accesses the service, the PCEF may obtain the service identifier from the charging control apparatus. In this way, the PCEF can obtain the service identifier and the charging identifier that are corresponding to the data flow. Therefore, a configuration workload can be decreased.
Internet service provider management platform
Some embodiments include an internet service provider (ISP) system capable of delegating network policy configuration tasks to ISP franchisee accounts. For example, the ISP system can establish, via a backhaul channel, a network tunnel from an access point hosting a local area network (LAN) to a gateway server connected to a wide area network (WAN). The ISP system can authenticate an ISP franchisee account operating a mobile device. The ISP franchisee account can configure, from the mobile device, a network usage policy associated with using the network tunnel, the gateway server, and/or application services available through the gateway server. The ISP system can authenticate a subscriber account operating a subscriber device to connect with the WAN from the LAN. The ISP system can enforce, at the gateway server, the network usage policy when the customer device is using the access point to access the WAN through the gateway server.
Method of enabling improved efficiency in a first communications network, network entity, network device, computer programs and computer program products
A method (20) of enabling improved efficiency in a first communications network (10A) based on relation metrics on a relation between a first operator (A) of the first communications network (10A) and a second operator (B) of a second communications network (10A, 10B). The method (20) is performed in a network entity (7) and comprises: obtaining (21) data relating to users having a subscription with the first operator (A) and data relating to users having a subscription with the second operator (B); determining (22), based on the obtained data relating to users, a first metric IAB giving number of users roaming to the first operator (A) from the second operator (B) and a second metric OAB giving number of users roaming from the first operator (A) to the second operator (B); and providing (23) the first and second metrics IAB, OAB as relation metrics to a network device (9A) of the first communications network (10A) for use in improving efficiency in the first communications network (10A). A method (50) in a network device (9A) is also provided, and a network entity, a network device, computer programs and computer program products.
Automatic recharge system and method, and server
The present disclosure discloses an automatic recharge system and method, and a server, and belongs to a field of online recharge. The system includes: an agent server end on which an automatic recharge program runs, a third-party platform server, and at least one provider server, each provider server providing at least one online recharge service; the third-party platform server generates at least one order and stores the order; the agent server end logs in the third-party platform server by using the automatic recharge program and obtains the order; and the agent server end sends a recharge parameter corresponding to the order to the provider server by using the automatic recharge program, so as to complete an online recharge process corresponding to the order.
Device and method for controlling charging in a mobile communication system
The present invention relates to a method, packet data network gateway (PGW), and server in a mobile communication system and device for controlling charging in a mobile communication system. The method by a PGW in a mobile communication system includes identifying data usage information associated with a specific service for a terminal, determining whether the data usage information satisfies a predetermined condition, and transmitting a notification message including the data usage information if the data usage information satisfies the predetermined condition, to a policy and charging rules function (PCRF) entity. The data usage information is used to display a message in the terminal.
