Systems and methods for promoting use of wireless services exclusively
Provided herein are systems and methods for providing exclusive wireless service proposals to subscribers. A method for providing an exclusive wireless service proposal to a subscriber includes the steps of conducting measurements of at least one metric; sending measurement data acquired during the step of conducting to a measurement analysis machine (MAM), the MAM being configured to analyze the measurement data; analyzing the measurement data; predicting performance of at least one of wireless voice and wireless data services based upon the results of the analysis step; generating a proposal for exclusive wireless services based upon the measurement data and the performance prediction; and providing the proposal to a subscriber. Systems for performing this and additional or alternative methods are also disclosed.
Service Selection Set Publishing to Device Agent with On-Device Service Selection
Disclosed herein are various embodiments for publishing a service offer set to a device agent on an end-user device and for on-device selection of a service. In some embodiments, a network system publishes a service offer set to an end-user device over a wireless access network, receives an offer set user selection from the end-user device, and provisions one or more network functions based on the offer set user selection.
INTERNET SUBSCRIPTION MANAGEMENT IN A CELLULAR-BASED NETWORK
This disclosure is directed to techniques for directly managing, via a cellular modem device, an in-home Internet service subscription plan for using an in-home Internet service from a wireless carrier network. The cellular modem device may facilitate adjustment of the in-home Internet subscription plan by monitoring Internet service usage at the cellular modem device and then comparing a monitored Internet service usage with a corresponding threshold value. Based on this comparison, the cellular modem device may present to the subscriber a selection that correspond to different adjustments in the subscription plan. The cellular modem device may then send a request for adjustment to Internet service provider based on a user-entered selection and a notification is thereafter received by the cellular modem device for the adjustment of the subscription plan by the Internet service provider.
COMPUTING ENVIRONMENT SOFTWARE APPLICATION TESTING
Methods, computer program products, and systems are presented. The method computer program products, and systems can include, for instance: testing a software application having instances that run on (a) a test computing environment and (b) a target computing environment, wherein each of the test computing environment and the target computing environment is provided by a mobile access edge computing (MEC) environment, wherein the testing includes varying a software application performance impacting parameter value impacting performance of an instance of the software application running on the test computing environment, and examining metrics data resulting from the varying the software application performance impacting parameter value; providing, in dependence on the metrics data, an action decision to adjust a software application performance impacting parameter value impacting performance of a software application instance of the software application running on the target computing environment; and adjusting the software application performance impacting parameter value impacting performance of the software application instance of the software application running on the target computing in accordance with the action decision.
AUTOMATIC AFTER CALL APPLICATION DOWNLOAD PLATFORM
This disclosure provides methods, systems, and platforms for automatically prompting a mobile device user to download an application to their mobile device after a triggering event. Triggering events include calling a business, receiving a call from a business, and navigating to a website. In some embodiments, a business can run a targeted campaign to automatically prompt a mobile device user to download an application. In some embodiments, the platform interacts with an application installed on the mobile device. The prompt displayed on the mobile device includes an actionable option to download an application.
SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR CLASSIFYNG ELECTRONIC ACTIVITIES BASED ON SENDER AND RECEPIENT INFORMATION
The system and methods described herein can classify electronic activities based on sender and recipient information. The system can determine a relationship between a sender of an electronic activity and at least one recipient of the electronic activity using a sender node profile and a recipient node profile. The system can assign a tag to the electronic activity based on the relationship between the sender and one or more recipients of the electronic activity. The system can process the electronic activity based on the assigned tag.
Providing content to a child mobile device via a parent mobile device
A device may receive one or more preferences for providing a message-based data service. The device may receive, in a text message and from a mobile device, a content request. The content request may identify content to be obtained via a data connection. The device may filter the content request, based on the one or more preferences, to generate a filtered request. The device may obtain the content based on the filtered request and via a data connection. The device may process the content to prepare the content for providing in a text message. The device may provide the content to the mobile device in a text message after processing the content.
System, method, and computer program for rating network transmissions based on user requested data
A system, method, and computer program product are provided for rating network transmissions based on user requested data. In use, a transmission of data over a network is identified, where the data includes user requested data and additional data. Additionally, a size of the user requested data is determined. Furthermore, the transmission of the user requested data is rated based on the size of the user requested data. The transmission of additional data may be charged to third parties such as advertisers.
Open roaming multi-access cost optimizer service
A method is performed at a control center in a home network. The control center (CC) detects roaming of a user equipment (UE) engaged in a call across different access networks operated by different service providers and that employ different types of radio access technology (RAT) to attach to the UE. The CC identifies the different service providers and the different types of RAT associated with the different access networks. While the UE is roaming, the CC tracks different data usages for the UE on the different access networks. The CC categorizes the different data usages based on the different service providers and the different types of RAT associated with the different access networks. When the call terminates, the CC determines a total cost for data usage on the call based on the different data usages, the different types of RAT, and the different service providers.
COMPUTERIZED SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR A NETWORKED INFRASTRUCTURE FOR MANAGING AND CONTROLLING SUBSCRIPTION BASED SERVICES
The disclosed systems, servers and methods provide for a subscription and solution framework that provides novel mechanisms for scalable operations to be provided and/or accessible from management systems (such as, for example, asset (e.g., equipment), engineering and/or plant management systems, and the like) to apply, disseminate and/or utilize when interacting with subscribers (e.g., third party entities, users, clients, partners, and the like). The disclosed framework provides device and software agnostic integration and architectural flexibility, while maintaining and efficiently (both computationally and from a cost-basis) providing cloud-based technical support and services. The disclosed framework enables enhanced investment security and commercial flexibility, boosts production efficiency, enhances operational flexibility and eliminates pricing complexity.
