The present application provides monitoring and managing usage of one or more network-connected devices over a network. The network-connected devices may include devices connected to the Internet of Things (IoT). Some aspects provide systems, methods and computing devices for: receiving usage and rate data associated with network-connected device(s); determining device expenditure data based on the usage and rate data; obtaining allocation information pertaining to a time period; updating information associated with one or more data files with the device expenditure data; comparing the updated information to the allocation information; and determining whether an allocation indicated by the allocation information for the time period is feasible.

This disclosure describes, in part, systems and techniques for retrieving complex data from multiple data sources corresponding to a current cost of consumable materials and a current cost of labor used to provide a service. Once retrieved, the system may determine a total current cost of the consumable materials and a total current cost of the labor. Furthermore, the system may use the total current cost of the consumable materials and the total current cost of the labor to determine an overall current cost of the service. The system may simultaneously provide an overall current cost of multiple services.

The present invention comprises a system and method for managing an inventory of PINs in a PIN distribution network. The distribution network includes a hub coupled to a one or more servers and each of the servers is coupled to at least one client terminal. The system includes a hub for dynamically allocating PINs of the inventory among the servers so as to substantially maintain a quantity of PINs at each server at a desired level for each server. Additionally, the hub acquires additional PINs in response to at least one PIN in the inventory being distributed to at least one user from at least one of the client terminals. In variations, the hub maintains centralized databases and synchronizes the centralized databases with corresponding databases at each server.

In a system in which a wireless access network and another network are connected to each other, an accurate fee is charged in a case where data held in an application server disposed in the wireless access network is used.

The application server holds an application and data relating to the application. A usage mode information generating unit generates usage mode information which is information relating to a usage mode when the wireless terminal uses the held data. A network data usage amount measuring unit measures a network data usage amount when the wireless terminal uses data on another network via a wireless access network connected to the wireless terminal. A fee charging unit charges a fee on the basis of the measured network data usage amount and charge a fee on a basis of the generated usage mode information.

A method and system for the purchase and activation of services on a wireless device are provided. The method and system include the use of an airtime card with a near field communication tag with a unique identifier code used to improve a user's experience and ease of activation/provisioning of services for the wireless device. In some aspects, the unique identifier may be generated during the activation and purchase of the wireless service and it is not required that the unique identifier code be recorded in a backend system of the wireless provider prior to activation. The services to be purchased and activated may include at least one of the following: out of the box activation, device upgrades, device reactivations, wireless number changes, wireless number porting, and the addition or purchasing of services including airtime, data, and/or SMS enrollments or data content.

A method including receiving a natural language input and determining a telecommunications routing code based at least in part on the natural language input. The telecommunications routing code is associated with routing calls to a telecommunications number. The method further includes populating the telecommunications routing code at a node of a call routing decision tree to generate a populated call routing decision tree comprising a call routing template.

One disclosed method includes filtering incoming emergency data using at least one filtering criteria, as the emergency data is received in response to initiation of emergency events; generating at least one data bin representing a tally of emergency data meeting the at least one filtering criteria, without storing any of the emergency data used to generate the at least one data bin; and generating a statistical report using the at least one data bin. The statistical report may be generated real-time and displayed on a remote display.

Methods and systems are provided for the management, routing and reporting of toll-free telecommunications calls and data. Methods and systems are provided for pre-populating a call routing template based on natural language inputs and populating telecommunications routing codes at nodes of a call routing decision tree to generate a call routing template that may be identified and presented to a user interface based at least in part on a natural language input.
