System and method for detecting and alerting risks of inputting incorrect account information in refill transactions
Apparatus and method are disclosed for detecting a risk in a refill transaction. The method may include receiving, from a user, a request for refilling an account, the request including account information associated with the account. The method may also include acquiring a contact information set corresponding to the user. The method may further include determining whether the contact information set includes the account information by searching in the contact information set for information matching the account information. In addition, the method may include providing a risk alert to the user if it is determined that the contact information set does not include the account information.
Blocked device checking in roaming scenarios
In certain cellular communication systems, a roaming communication device may attempt to establish a connection with a visited wireless communication network. Before allowing the connection, the visited network may check to see whether the International Mobile Equipment Identity (IMEI) of the device has been listed in an Equipment Identity Register (EIR) as being blocked, and may refuse the connection if the IMEI is listed as being blocked. In addition, when the home network of the device receives a request to authorize usage of the device, the home network may also check its own EIR to determine whether the IMEI has been blocked. If the IMEI has been blocked in the EIR of the home network, the home network indicates to the visited network that the connection should be refused.
Feature management of a communication device
A system and method for the real-time management of a device, and more particularly to the establishment and enforcement of policies or rules associated with the feature or functions that may be performed with the device, such as making and receiving calls, exchanging data, playing games and music, sending and receiving email, accessing web sites, and paying for goods and services. If a child or employee is using the device, there may be a need to regulate how that device can be used and to determine who will pay for what goods or services. In addition to providing all of the features associated with a device, service providers need to be able to establish and enforce rules (policies) regulating how and when that device can be used and who will pay for a good or service requested by the user of the device.
WIRELESS COMMUNICATION TAG
Aspects of the present disclosure relate to systems and methods for a wireless communication tag. The tag is configured to uniquely identify an account associated with the user for granting the user access to a first access-controlled service controlled by a first authority and a second access-controlled service controlled by a second authority. The tag is implemented through an omnidirectional antenna removably coupled to a mobile device associated with the user. An amount of payment owed by the user in accessing the first access-controlled service from a plurality of access-controlled services including the first access-controlled service and the second access-controlled service across a plurality of authorities is determined and transfer of the amount of payment to the first authority selected from the plurality of authorities in response to the user accessing the first access-controlled service is facilitated.

VOWIFI REGISTRATION CONTROL METHOD AND APPARATUS, ELECTRONIC DEVICE, AND SERVER
A VoWiFi registration control method and apparatus, an electronic device, and a server, are provided. A method on an electronic device side includes: obtaining first feature information of an electronic device; and controlling, in a case that the first feature information does not match second feature information, termination of VoWiFi registration in a process of performing VoWiFi registration. The first feature information is position feature information determined based on a first position of the electronic device, and the second feature information is position feature information determined based on a second position of the electronic device.
Subscription activation for mobile wireless devices
This Application sets forth techniques for provisioning and activating electronic subscriber identity modules (eSIMs) for mobile wireless devices. An eSIM is reserved during a sales order process and later activated during device activation after receipt by a user. An option for eSIM installation in place of (or in addition to) physical SIM installation is provided when purchasing the mobile wireless device. The reserved eSIM can replace a previous SIM/eSIM or be a new eSIM. During device activation, installation and activation of the eSIM occurs. Activation of the eSIM can occur before or after deactivation of a transferred SIM/eSIM. The mobile wireless device accounts for propagation delay of eSIM activation through MNO servers by disabling and re-enabling the eSIM until initial attachment to an MNO cellular wireless network succeeds or a maximum number of retry attempts is reached.
Transferring funds between two parties
A method for transferring funds to a second electronic computing device includes establishing a first pre-paid payment account on a first electronic computing device. The first pre-paid payment account is used to establish one or more second pre-paid payment accounts. The one or more second pre-paid payment accounts have a value that is less than or equal to the first pre-paid payment account. A first account identifier is obtained for one of the second pre-paid payment accounts. The first account identifier is sent to the second electronic computing device. The sending of the first account identifier to the second electronic computing device results in a transfer of ownership of the one more second pre-paid accounts from a first user at the first electronic computing device to a second user at the second electronic computing device.
DISPLAY METHOD AND ELECTRONIC DEVICE
This application discloses a display method and an electronic device, and relates to the field of terminal technologies. The method includes: sending, by the electronic device in response to a first operation, a profile download request to an operator network; and receiving a profile, where the profile includes profile metadata, and the profile metadata includes at least one field; and in response to a second operation, displaying a first screen on a display based on the profile metadata, where the first screen includes at least one of a first option indicating a network standard, a second option indicating a card type, a third option indicating account balance information of the profile, a fourth option indicating information about a remaining data volume of an account data plan, and a fifth option indicating a state of an account. This allows a user to learn profile capabilities before activating the profile.
TELECOMMUNICATION NETWORK SUBSCRIBER CONVERSION USING CLUSTER-BASED DISTANCE MEASURES
A processing system deployed in a telecommunication network may obtain data records including data associated with subscribers, cluster the subscribers into a plurality of clusters in accordance with the data, identify a first set of subscribers enrolled in automated clearing house (ACH) payment agreements, and identify a second set of subscribers not enrolled in ACH payment agreements, calculate distance measures for the second set of subscribers, where for each respective subscriber of the second set of subscribers, the distance measures include a respective distance measure of the respective subscriber to a feature centroid for a subset of the first set of subscribers in a same cluster as the respective subscriber, select a subset of the second set of subscribers based upon the plurality of distance measures for receiving an offer in an ACH payment agreement, and present communications to the subset of the second set of subscribers with the offer.
