A method for access and mobility policy control in a communications network, the method comprising receiving at a first policy control entity for handling UE policies from a network node a notification including access and mobility policy data for a user equipment, the notification further including an application identifier or a packet flow descriptor to which the access and mobility policy data applies; obtaining at the first policy control entity PDU session information for the user equipment relative to the application identifier or the packet flow descriptor, particularly wherein the PDU session information is at least one of an application start/stop event, an out of credit event, a reallocation of credit event or a usage report; and modifying at least one access and mobility policy at the first policy control entity based on the obtained PDU session information. The network node may be a user data repository.

A method performed by a device for determining a subscriber identification module (SIM) card to be used for a call is provided. The method includes determining, for each of plural call types and prior to a new call originating from a user equipment (UE), a SIM card to be used, from among a first SIM card installed in the UE and a second SIM card installed in the UE, identifying a call type of the new call originating from the UE, selecting, based on the identified call type, the SIM card previously determined for the identified call type according to the determining, and updating, based on performance of the new call and prior to a subsequent call, the determined SIM card for at least one of the plural call types.

One method includes transmitting a first input from a user regarding opening an account at an institution, establishing a communication session based on exchanging encryption keys between the user device and the computing system, in response to establishing the communication session, automatically installing a client application, displaying, via the client application, a graphical user interface (GUI) including a request for a user verification, transmitting, via the communication session, a received user verification, receiving a second input to add the account a mobile wallet on the user device, prompting the user for a value regarding the account, and receiving and storing, via the communication session, a payment token for transactions via the mobile wallet before a physical card associated with the account of the computing system is received.

A computing system receives first input from a customer to establish an account at the financial institution having a physical payment card associated therewith, approves the customer for the account based on account registration information received from the customer, and establishes the account for the customer. Establishing the account includes generating a card number for the physical payment card and associating the card number with a first status indicator, the first status indicator being associated with an inactive status of the account. Once the account is established, the computing system transmits a prompt instructing the customer to establish a PIN for the account and receives a customer-input PIN for the account. A process for authorizing wireless service includes providing a generally rectangular flat form factor card having a first surface and opposing second surface. During subsequent value purchase transactions, additional value may be added to the account.

A computer-implemented video vistation system of a correctional facility includes at least one inmate computer device in the correctional facility for use by an incarcerated inmate and being pre-programmed to communicate exclusively with a visitation services computer system. The at least one inmate computer device is configured, via an inmate interface presented on the inmate computer device, to accept a selection from a pre-registered authorized inmate user to initiate a visitation session with a remotely located non-incarcerated visitor without requiring endpoint control to schedule or initiate the visitation session by administrative personnel of the correctional facility. A visitor computer device and user interface for a computer-implemented video visitation system of a correctional facility includes a processor, a display and an input element for use by a non-incarcerated visitor at a remote location from the correctional facility. The visitor computer device is configured, via a visitor interface presented on the visitor computer device, to accept a selection from a uniquely identified and confirmed authorized non-incarcerated visitor to initiate a visitation session with a uniquely identified one of the incarcerated inmates in the correctional facility. A visitation services computer system is configured to receive the accepted selection, transmit an invitation to a visitation session to the uniquely identified one of the incarcerated inmates in the correctional facility via an inmate computing device in the correctional facility without requiring endpoint control to schedule or initiate the visitation session by administrative personnel of the correctional facility, and establish an interconnection between the visitor computer device and the inmate computer device to commence an electronic visitation session.

A policy and charging enforcement function (PCEF) apparatus, an online charging apparatus, and an online charging method, where the online charging method includes receiving a policy and charging control (PCC) rule from a policy and charging rules function (PCRF), determining that a service data flow of a user equipment is a sponsor service data flow sponsored by a sponsor, determining, based on a rating group of the sponsor service data flow included in the PCC rule, whether the PCEF apparatus has a credit quota available to the sponsor service data flow when the sponsor service data flow uses online charging, and sending a credit control request including the rating group to the online charging apparatus when the PCEF apparatus does not have the credit quota available to the sponsor service data flow.
