The invention comprises systems and methods for transferring energy between mobile devices such as smartphones comprising: energy transfer means; at least one accelerometer; a micro-controller with predefined instructions, is adapted to control charging parameters; a DC-DC converter; wherein, said accelerometer readings are processed and fed into said microcontroller for controlling said charging parameters using said predefined instructions; further wherein, control over said charge parameters is achieved by changing the position of at least one of the mobile devices. A number of different embodiments are provided allowing for different transfer schemes.

A reverse power feeding power PSE in electrical communication with a power source and a DPU, the PSE constituted of: a power output terminal; and a control circuitry, the control circuitry arranged to: output at the power output terminal power from the power source, the output power exhibiting a voltage within a predetermined operating range, after a predetermined inrush time period from an initial output time of the power, determine the magnitude of current flowing through the power output terminal, responsive to the determined current magnitude being greater than a predetermined current draw value, cease the power output.

The present invention provides a charging device comprising: a main body capable of being connected to a mobile terminal; a charging unit for charging the mobile terminal in a first connection mode; a backup unit for receiving data stored on the mobile terminal in a second connection mode, which is capable of data communications, and performing a backup function; and a control unit for changing the first connection mode to the second connection mode, on the basis of the storage status of new data stored on the mobile terminal, while connected to the mobile terminal.

The present invention provides a charging device comprising: a main body capable of being connected to a mobile terminal; a charging unit for charging the mobile terminal in a first connection mode; a backup unit for receiving data stored on the mobile terminal in a second connection mode, which is capable of data communications, and performing a backup function; and a control unit for changing the first connection mode to the second connection mode, on the basis of the storage status of new data stored on the mobile terminal, while connected to the mobile terminal.

Power is supplied to telecom equipment in DSLAM outdoor/remote cabinets with relatively short distances between the subscriber and the cabinet. All of the subscriber Customer Premises Equipment connected to the DSLAM each provide a portion of the required power to the remote cabinet via the telephone line connecting the DSLAM and the subscriber CPE. The CPE at the subscriber premises is already connected to power mains in the subscriber premises so, providing power, via the telephone line to the outdoor cabinet is relatively simple. The remote cabinet includes a circuit for receiving the power input from each subscriber and then distributing the power, required by the DSLAM load, equally among the subscribers.

The remote cabinet includes a circuit for receiving the power input from each subscriber and then distributing the power, required by the DSLAM load, equally among the subscribers.

Aspects of the subject disclosure may include, for example, apparatus that includes a first port that receives a radio frequency signal input, a second port that provides a high-speed Internet connection and the radio frequency signal input and receives a power supply current, and a third port that receives the high-speed Internet connection and receives the power supply current and that the first port is isolated from the power supply current.
