The tool may also have a communication device, and a controller in electronic communication with the interface and the communication device. The controller may be configured to transmit a waste management command to a remote service provider via the communication device based on the input.
QUICK CHARGING METHOD, POWER ADAPTER AND MOBILE TERMINAL
The present disclosure provides a quick charging method, a power adapter, and a mobile terminal. The method includes: transmitting, by the power adapter, clock signal to the mobile terminal via a first data line of the USB interface in a process of that the power adapter is coupled to the mobile terminal, wherein the clock signal indicates a communication sequence between the power adapter and the mobile terminal; conducting, by the power adapter, a bidirectional communication with the mobile terminal via a second data line of the USB interface under control of the communication sequence, so as to determine to charge the mobile terminal in the quick charging mode; and adjusting, by the power adapter, a charging current of the power adapter to the charging current corresponding to the quick charging mode to charge the mobile terminal.
SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR A SUBSCRIBER-POWERED NETWORK ELEMENT
A system for powering a network element of a fiber optic wide area network is disclosed. When communication data is transferred between a central office (CO) and a subscriber terminal using a network element to convert optical to electrical (O-E) and electrical to optical (E-O) signals between a fiber from the central office and twisted wire pair, coaxial cable or Ethernet cable transmission lines from the subscriber terminal, techniques related to local powering of a network element or drop site by the subscriber terminal or subscriber premise remote powering device are provided. Certain advantages and/or benefits are achieved using the present invention, such as freedom from any requirement for additional meter installations or meter connection charges and does not require a separate power network.
REVERSE POWER SUPPLY MANAGEMENT METHOD, APPARATUS AND SYSTEM
A reverse power supply management method, apparatus and system are disclosed. The method includes: acquiring reverse power supply information of terminal devices of various links during a process that various terminal devices connected to a local end device stably perform reverse power supply on the local end device; determining reverse power supply management information of the various terminal devices according to the acquired reverse power supply information of the terminal devices of the various links; and transmitting respectively the reverse power supply management information of the various terminal devices to corresponding terminal devices to instruct the various terminal devices to adjust parameters for supplying reverse power to the local end device according to the received reverse power supply management information.
Reverse powering system for telecommunications node
To initiate the transmission of electrical power over a telecommunications connection from a power-collecting telecommunications interface unit such as a customer premises equipment, connectable to a power supply, to a power-receiving unit such as a curbside electrical/optical interface, when a connection is first established, or the collecting unit is first powered up, or in order to re-establish connection after a power outage, control signals are transmitted between low-power modems in the interface units using a low-power communications protocol. This allows the controlled initiation of a larger power output and a higher speed exchange of data once the full telecommunications connection has been established. A low-powered beacon signal is transmitted over the telecommunications connection by the power-collecting telecommunications interface unit on connection to a power supply, for detection by the power-receiving telecommunications interface unit. In the event of a loss of power at the input, the low power modem initiates power management control signals to cause the power-receiving telecommunications interface to shut down certain functions in order to preserve backup power for essential lifeline services.
REVERSE POWER SUPPLY METHOD, DEVICE AND STORAGE MEDIUM
Disclosed is a reverse power supply method, comprising: a power supply adapter mixing a digital subscriber line (xDSL) signal with direct current (DC), and transmitting the mixed signal to an xDSL central office device via a subscriber line; the xDSL central office device separating the mixed signal to acquire the DC required by the xDSL central office device. Also disclosed are a power supply adapter and xDSL central office device.
Method for dealing with anomalous conditions in a reverse power network, and power injector for use in such a method
Method for dealing with an anomalous condition in a local network including a power injector, said method comprising connecting the power injector to a communication line extending between the local network and a remote device, said power injector being capable of injecting power on the communication line, for reverse powering a remote device located outside the local network, and for powering any local device that is regularly connected to the communication line; said communication line being used for exchanging data between the remote device and the local network; recognizing when a power consumption behavior of the power injector deviates from a characteristic power consumption behavior of said remote device and of any regularly connected local device; and controlling the power injector when a deviation is recognized.
