METHOD AND DEVICE FOR MITIGATING WIND NOISE IN A SPEECH SIGNAL GENERATED AT A MICROPHONE OF THE DEVICE
A mobile communication device and a method of mitigating wind noise in a speech signal generated at a microphone of the mobile communication device. A primary microphone of the mobile communication device receives speech and wind noise and generates a first speech signal based on the speech and the wind noise that is received. A secondary microphone of the mobile communication device receives attenuated speech and generates a second speech signal based on the attenuated speech that is received. The secondary microphone is shielded from the wind noise when the primary microphone receives speech and the wind noise. A processer of the mobile communication device processes the first speech signal to replace a low frequency portion of the first speech signal with the second speech signal in order to mitigate the wind noise in the first speech signal.

AUDIO DEVICE AND CONTROL METHOD THEREOF
An audio device and a control method thereof are provided. The audio device includes a charger and at least one audio broadcaster. The charger is coupled to a transmission line and is configured to generate a charging voltage. The audio broadcaster is coupled to the charger through the transmission line. The charger transmits the charging voltage to the audio broadcaster through the transmission line, and transmits first data to the audio broadcaster through the transmission line. The audio broadcaster transmits second data to the charger through the transmission line.

SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR A SUBSCRIBER POWERED NETWORK ELEMENT
A system for powering a network element of a fiber optic wide area network is disclosed. When communication data is transferred between a central office (CO) and a subscriber terminal using a network element to convert optical to electrical (O-E) and electrical to optical (E-O) signals between a fiber from the central office and twisted wire pair, coaxial cable or Ethernet cable transmission lines from the subscriber terminal, techniques related to local powering of a network element or drop site by the subscriber terminal or subscriber premise remote powering device are provided. Certain advantages and/or benefits are achieved using the present invention, such as freedom from any requirement for additional meter installations or meter connection charges and does not require a separate power network.
Reverse power feeding system and method
A reverse power feeding system for supplying power from a plurality of first devices to a second device, a first set of the plurality of first devices each being powered by a first type power source and a second set of the plurality of first devices each being powered by a second type power source different than the first type power source, the system constituted of: a plurality of power paths, each of the plurality of power paths arranged to transfer DC power between a respective one of the plurality of first devices and the second device; and a control circuitry, the control circuitry arranged to adjust the amount of power supplied by each of the second set of the plurality of first devices over the power paths responsive to the total amount of power supplied by the first set of the plurality of first devices over the power paths.

System and method for providing photoverification to mobile device charging stations
Systems and methods for locating and providing public mobile device charging stations are disclosed. One or more charging stations may be configured to charge a battery of a mobile device. A database may be configured to store location information of the one or more charging stations as well as mobile device location and security credential information of the one or more respective mobile devices. A server communicatively coupled with the one or more charging stations and the database, may be configured to determine a proximity of the one or more charging stations to a location of the mobile device. This determination may be based on the station location information and the mobile device location information. Based on the determined proximity, provide the station location information of the respective one or more charging stations to the mobile device. The charging station further provides photo and/or video surveillance security to verify a user.
Adapters, terminal devices, USB connection devices and charging stations
Adapters, terminal devices, USB connection devices and charging stations are disclosed. The adapter includes a first port configured to connect to an alternate current (AC) source, a conversion module configured to convert an AC power from the AC source into a direct current (DC) power, a second port configured to connect to a first electronic device and provide power thereto, an uplink interface configured to connect to the first electronic device, a downlink interface coupled with the conversion module to obtain an external power supply therefrom and configured to connect to a second electronic device, and a signal control module arranged between the uplink and downlink interfaces, and configured to control a status of a signal in the downlink interface based on a status of a power supply of the uplink interface. The second electronic device enters one of the operating and charging modes based on the status of the signal in the downlink interface, when the second electronic device is coupled with the downlink interface. With the present invention, charging of an electronic device which can be charged only upon recognizing the signal line status of the downlink interface can be enabled even if a computer is powered off or in a sleep state.
