SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR INTELLIGENT POWER DISTRIBUTION
Methods and systems for providing intelligent power distribution. A distribution point unit is connected to a plurality of user units in a telecommunications system. A loss of power to the distribution point unit is detected. It is determined that at least one user unit has backup power. Based on a determination that at least one user unit has backup power, a power mode for the distribution point unit is selected. The power mode is implemented on the distribution point unit.
Audio signal processing with acoustic echo cancellation
Multi-channel audio signal processing includes receiving a left stereo audio signal from a first channel and a right stereo audio signal from a second channel; up-mixing the left and the right stereo audio signals to generate an up-mixed audio signal for a third channel; de-correlating the up-mixed audio signal from the left and the right stereo audio signals to generate a de-correlated up-mixed audio signal; providing the left and right stereo signals and the de-correlated up-mixed audio signal to first, second, and third loudspeakers respectively to generate first, second, and third sound signals, respectively; picking up the first, second and third sound signals with a microphone to generate a microphone output signal; and adaptively filtering the microphone output signal with an acoustic echo canceller based on the left, the right, and the de-correlated up-mixed audio signal to generate an echo compensated microphone signal.
Intercom devices and methods for adaptively adjusting power consumption thereof
A system and method for adjusting power consumption of a power consumer (e.g., an intercom device) may include a power supply, the power consumer connected to the power supply through a transmitting device, and at least one processor. The at least one processor may be configured to obtain a first voltage associated with the power supply and a second voltage associated with the power consumer, and adjust an operation status of the power consumer at least based on the first voltage and the second voltage. The first voltage may be an output voltage of the power supply, and the second voltage may be an input voltage of the power consumer.

METHOD FOR CONTROLLING POWER USING SOCKET AND ELECTRONIC DEVICE SUPPORTING THE SAME
An electronic device is provided. The electronic device includes a housing including an opening defined on at least one surface of the housing, a socket adjacent to the opening in the housing, a tray insertable into the socket through the opening and configured to hold one or more cards, a battery, a power management circuit configured to control power provided from the battery, and a first terminal connected to the power management circuit, the first terminal included in the socket, wherein the power management module is configured to control a provision of power from the battery to at least one internal component of the electronic device based on a first signal detected via the first terminal.
SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR A SUBSCRIBER-POWERED NETWORK ELEMENT
A system for powering a network element of a fiber optic wide area network is disclosed. When communication data is transferred between a central office (CO) and a subscriber terminal using a network element to convert optical to electrical (O-E) and electrical to optical (E-O) signals between a fiber from the central office and twisted wire pair, coaxial cable or Ethernet cable transmission lines from the subscriber terminal, techniques related to local powering of a network element or drop site by the subscriber terminal or subscriber premise remote powering device are provided. Certain advantages and/or benefits are achieved using the present invention, such as freedom from any requirement for additional meter installations or meter connection charges and does not require a separate power network.
