CROSS-PLATFORM VIDEO CONVERSATION BETWEEN RELATED DEVICES
Cross-platform video conversation between related devices is described. Techniques described herein include receiving, by a first device registered with a network to utilize a communication address for sending and receiving cellular communications via the network, live video associated with a video conversation between the first device and a second device. Information for related device(s) may be retrieved by the first device. The related device(s) may be related to the first device based on utilizing the communication address for sending and receiving at least communications via the network and/or being associated with a same subscriber account as the first device. Moreover, techniques described herein enable the first device to share the live video with related device(s) to enable the related device(s) to join the video conversation irrespective of which computing platform provides conversational video services for each of the related device(s).
Presenting content during video call hold events
Systems and methods are described herein for handling video calls placed on hold or otherwise parked by one or more parties within the video call. The systems and methods can determine a video call has been placed on hold (or otherwise set to be parked), and transfer the video call to a call park server (CPS). The systems and methods can then access a content server, retrieve one or more content items (e.g., video clips, interactive content or advertisements, and so on), and present the content items within the on hold video call.
Electronic device including flexible display
An electronic device is disclosed, including: a housing foldable along at least one axis, a first display disposed on a first surface of the housing, the first display flexible as to switch from an unfolded state to a folded state along the at least one axis, a second display, separate from the first display, disposed on a second surface of the housing opposite to the first surface, and a processor. The processor is configured to: execute a video call including display of a plurality of call targets on the first display, and based on detecting a switch from the unfolded state to the folded state while a number of the plurality of call targets is greater than or equal to a reference value: display a thumbnail of at least one selected call target from among the plurality of call targets in a first sub-region on the second display, and display thumbnails of unselected call targets from among the plurality of call targets in a second sub-region different from the first sub-region on the second display.
Facilitation of two or more video conferences concurrently
In one aspect, a first device includes a processor, a microphone accessible to the processor, a speaker accessible to the processor, a display accessible to the processor, and storage accessible to the processor. The storage may include instructions executable by the processor to facilitate concurrent video conferencing for first and second video conferences and to receive user input selecting the first video conference. Based on the user input, the instructions may be executable to control the speaker to output audio for the first video conference at a greater volume level than audio for the second video conference and to transmit input from the microphone to a second device associated with a participant of the first video conference but not to a third device associated with a participant of the second video conference.
DYNAMIC REWARDABLE ACTIVITY VALUE DETERMINATION AND ALLOCATION
A Sender Controlled Media (SCM) platform user is presented incentives for performing rewardable platform activities that result in accruing points in a user-specific account from which points can be redeemed by transfer or cryptocurrency conversion to an external user-designated wallet. A reward received for each instance of a rewardable platform activity is determined based on a range of platform context including a target average points payout, an aggregated total points payout over a distribution period, and a type of rewardable platform activity.
Management of calls and media content associated with a caller on mobile computing devices
Call originator feedback may be gathered from members of a call group for a call originator. This feedback may be stored in a contact firewall data structure indexed by call originator identification information, where a contact firewall function can intercept a call to a member of the group when the contact firewall data structure indicates that an action to impact the call should be taken. In another aspect, a method may include receiving an indication of no-answer by a recipient of a call, activating a sender-controlled media (SCM) content selection/generation interface on the caller's phone, and delivering the item of content to the recipient's call message storage system, where the item of content is linked to the missed call. For example, a SCM data structure, or a link to the SCM data structure, may be delivered to the recipient's call message storage system.
Real-time crime center solution with dispatch directed digital media payloads
A cloud-based real-time crime center with dispatch directed digital media payloads configured to support both emergency dispatchers and emergency responders responding to an incident requiring assistance. The new dispatch system is “cloud-based” in that it provides a central hub or repository for gathering live video streams and data streams that are processed to fuse them together to provide a map-based interface for the dispatcher to access via a desktop or other computing station at a central agency location and for the responders in the field to access via vehicle-mounted or portable client devices. The dispatch system processes the video and data streams to generate a dispatch directed payload that includes data and video relevant to the identified incident and that can be readily communicated (due to its reduced or controlled size) to field responders to make their response more effective and to increase both the safety of the responders and those involved in the incident.
Report Evaluation Device and Operation Method Thereof
A report evaluation method of a report evaluation device may include receiving a report from at least one client terminal, determining a category of the received report, identifying a learning model corresponding to the category, evaluating a reliability of the report through the learning model, and generating and outputting information on the reliability.
System and method for providing real-time lockless parallel screen recording compliance enforcement to omni channel cloud systems
A computerized-method for providing real-time lockless parallel screen recording compliance enforcement to omni-channel cloud systems, is provided herein. In a processor of a client computer configured to execute code for recording events of one or more voice or digital interactions, on one or more screens associated to the client computer, the computerized-method maintains a cache for storing a masked state. Each interaction is having an associated interaction identifier and upon receiving a screen event from a server of a cloud-based video recording that is communicating with the client computer over a communication network, operating a compliance-enforcement module. The compliance-enforcement module includes updating the cache; and operating a module of recording of screen events for the screen events of the one or more voice or digital interactions. Thus, by updating in real-time the cache on the client computer refraining from database locks in the server of the cloud-based video recording.
MEDIA PROVIDING SERVER, AND METHOD AND COMPUTER PROGRAM FOR PROVIDING ORDER PROCEDURE CONTENT OF DIFFERENT ORDERING METHODS
A media providing server and a method and computer program for providing call waiting content with respect to ARS order calls for a broadcast product provide call waiting content with respect to ARS order calls for the broadcast product and provide order content to enable a product to be ordered according to one of order methods except for an ARS order method.
