Automatically accessing an internet session using transferred network login information
Enhancements of and to cell phone operations are based in whole or in part on determining the location of the cell phone. Systems and methods select and determine locations or areas of importance or relevance, and based on that information and other programmed factors affect or alter the operations of the cell phone. While the systems and methods are illustrated by use of cell phone embodiments and applications, they are equally applicable to virtually any portable or mobile communication device, including for example, wireless laptop computers and PDAs.
Wireless customer experience fault analytics system and method of operation
A minimum confidence level is applied to recognize a localizable wireless system debility from a debility which is invariant from place to place or which cannot be significantly distinguished from service performance levels of comparable mobile user terminals in the network as a whole. Reports received by the population of users of a service or product family are scored, aggregated, normalized, and averaged overall and for each geographic service area. A report is received from a particular end user and the customer operated wireless instrument and transformed into an individual user experience score over a length of time and breadth of locations. The reports provided by the population of users are transformed into a population experience score that reflects usage in the same time and locations reported from the wireless instrument of the particular end user. Various potential causations are considered and those which exceed a minimum level of confidence are presented.
Method, system and relevant apparatuses for selecting multimedia ring back tone
A method, system, and relevant apparatuses for selecting a Multimedia Ring Back Tone (MRBT) are disclosed. The method for selecting an MRBT includes: receiving a call request sent by a calling party, where the call request carries an MRBT type required by the calling party; sending the MRBT type required by the calling party to the MRBT server; obtaining MRBT information sent by an MRBT server, according to the MRBT type required by the calling party; and sending the MRBT information to the calling party. With the present invention, the calling party sends the required MRBT type, and the MRBT server provides the corresponding MRBT information for the calling party. Therefore, the calling party has an opportunity of selecting the MRBT type required by the calling party, and thus user experience is improved.
ENHANCED COMMUNICATION SERVICES BASED ON ITINERARY DATA
Described herein are techniques for providing enhanced services to a user device based on itinerary data. Such techniques may comprise receiving itinerary data that comprises an indication of at least one event associated with a user device, determining, based on the itinerary data, a temporary user device identifier to be provisioned onto the user device in relation to the at least one event, providing the temporary user device identifier to the user device to be provisioned onto the user device while the at least one event is occurring, and upon receiving a communication directed toward the temporary user device identifier while the at least one event is occurring, routing the communication to the user device.
Routing communications by scanning visible codes

Calling for Instant Messaging and Recording Instant Messaging Call Specific Conversation
A new type of communication channel, method, system, device, apparatus, platform, application & service is disclosed for enabling caller or calling party or inviter user(s) to send real-time invitation(s) or chat call to one or more callee or called party or invitee user(s) to real-time chat with calling party or inviter user(s) and within same session wait for acceptance of invitation(s) or chat call from said called party or invitee user(s) by said calling party or inviter user(s); enabling invitation(s) receiving or callee or called user(s) or invitee user(s) to accept chat call or invitation(s) or decline or not accept chat call or invitation(s) in real-time or within particular specific period of time or within same session or ignore chat call or invitation(s) within specified period of time or within same session; and in the event of acceptance of chat call or invitation(s) by callee or called party or invitee user(s), present chat call interface to caller or calling party or inviter user(s) and callee or called party or invitee user(s), wherein enabling callee or called party or invitation(s) accepted user(s) in real-time or within same session to access presented chat interface and participate in chat session with said calling party or invitation sender user(s) or inviter user(s) in real-time or within same session.
Methods, systems and applications for porting telephone numbers on wireless devices
The application is directed to a method and system for improving user experience with porting a telephone number to an electronic device. The method includes the steps of displaying a user interface on a display of the electronic device for initiating porting of a telephone number. Upon receiving user information via the user interface associated with the telephone number, it is determined whether the telephone number is portable. If the telephone number is portable, it is transmitted to the electronic device.
Communication device controlling method
A communication device controlling method, for controlling a communication device including a first subscriber identification and a second subscriber identification when a process of a data call established with the first subscriber identification is in a suspension, comprising: (a) receiving, by a processor of the communication device, a request to establish a mobile terminated (MT) call with the second subscriber identification; and (b) resuming, by the processor, the process of the data call from the suspension before an instruction of accepting or rejecting the request is received if the MT call is packet-switch based.
Performing speech recognition over a network and using speech recognition results based on determining that a network connection exists
Systems, methods and apparatus for initiating communication. According to one implementation, a recording of a particular user speaking a name of a contact is obtained, a voice dialing command including an utterance of the name of the contact by the particular user is received, and in response to receiving the voice dialing command including the utterance of the name of the contact by the particular user, the recording of the particular user speaking the name of the contact or a text-to-speech audio output of the name is provided for output, and communication is initiated between the particular user and the contact.
System and method for enabling call originations using SMS and hotline capabilities
A method for handling call originations is provided. The method includes sending origination information from a mobile device to an application server in an enterprise network using Short Message Service (SMS) and determining whether a hotline feature is present in a subscriber profile associated with the mobile device. Data is then routed from the mobile device to a predetermined destination based on the hotline feature.
