A cap and a method for forming the same are provided. An integrally formed outer layer of fabric and an integrally formed moldable layer are adhesively bonded together to form a moldable panel. A curved edge of the moldable panel is then formed by a mold. After that, the moldable panel and at least one second panel are connected to form a crown, to which a peak is subsequently connected to form the cap. Once the curved edge of the moldable panel is formed by heating and pressure application through the mold, the integrally formed moldable layer keeps the moldable panel in shape, so there is no need to support the outer layer of fabric and curve, for example, the front panel with two pieces of buckram that are stitched together, as is conventionally required.

Caps that are capable of being converted into protective face masks are provided. A cap can include a crown that can be placed over the face and that can be at least partially disconnected to provide a viewing aperture, and overlapping layers that cover the mouth and nose. The headband of the cap can be converted to straps for securing around the head. A visor can be configured to shade the eyes in both the cap configuration and the face mask configuration. A one-way breathing valve can be included in the crown to assist with breathing when the face mask is worn.

Caps that are capable of being converted into protective face masks are provided. A single strap fastening system is provided that can selectively fasten close and/or adjust a wearable article. The system may comprise two-sided fabric strap comprised of a first connectable fabric operable to releasably attach to a second connectable fabric of a wearable article. The system may also comprise a wearable article comprised of the second connectable fabric operable to releasably attach to a first connectable fabric of the two-sided strap. The first connectable fabric of the single fastening strap may be releasably coupled when joined to the second connectable fabric of the wearable article, thus fastening, closing and/or adjusting the wearable article.

A single strap fastening system is provided that can selectively fasten close and/or adjust a wearable article. The system may comprise two-sided fabric strap comprised of a first connectable fabric operable to releasably attach to a second connectable fabric of a wearable article. The system may also comprise a wearable article comprised of the second connectable fabric operable to releasably attach to a first connectable fabric of the two-sided strap. The first connectable fabric of the single fastening strap may be releasably coupled when joined to the second connectable fabric of the wearable article, thus fastening, closing and/or adjusting the wearable article.

A plate for an article of footwear includes a substrate, a first strand portion attached to the substrate via first stitching, and a second strand portion disposed on the first layer. The first strand portion includes first segments that each extend between two different locations along the substrate to form a first layer on the substrate. The second strand portion includes second segments that each extend between two different locations along the substrate to form a second layer on the first layer.

A plate for an article of footwear includes a substrate, a first strand portion attached to the substrate via first stitching, and a second strand portion disposed on the first layer. The first strand portion includes first segments that each extend between two different locations along the substrate to form a first layer on the substrate. The second strand portion includes second segments that each extend between two different locations along the substrate to form a second layer on the first layer.

A method of forming a plate for an article of footwear is disclosed. The method includes applying a first strand portion to a base layer including positioning adjacent segments of the first strand portion to form a first layer on the base layer. The adjacent segments of the first strand portion having a greater density across a width of the plate between a medial side and a lateral side at a midfoot region of the plate than at a forefoot region of the plate and at a heel region of the plate. The method also includes applying at least one of heat and pressure to the first strand portion and to the base layer to conform the first strand portion and the base layer to a predetermined shape.

A method of forming a plate for an article of footwear is disclosed. The method includes applying a first strand portion to a base layer including positioning adjacent segments of the first strand portion to form a first layer on the base layer. A hat with a replaceable paracord chinstrap. A hat is provided that includes a removably attached paracord chinstrap. A chinstrap adjustment piece is attached to the hat and may be used to adjust the tightness around a wearer's chin. An instruction sheet is provided that includes instructions on how to attach the paracord chinstrap and adjustment piece and how to utilize the paracord chinstrap.
