Performing contextual analysis of incoming telephone calls and suggesting forwarding parties
A computer-implemented method includes: receiving, by a computing device, an incoming telephone call from a caller; identifying, by the computing device, a telephone number associated with the telephone call; obtaining, by the computing device, contextual data based on the telephone number, predicting, by the computing device, one or more reasons for the telephone call based on the contextual data; and displaying, by the computing device, the one or more reasons for the telephone call.
SYSTEMS, METHODS, AND MEDIA FOR CAUSING AN ACTION TO BE PERFORMED ON A USER DEVICE
Systems, methods, and media for causing an action to be performed on a user device are provided. In some implementations, the systems comprise: a first user device comprising at least one hardware processor that is configured to: detect a second user device in proximity to the first user device; receive a user input indicative of an action to be performed; determine a plurality of candidate devices that are capable of performing the action, wherein the plurality of candidate devices includes the second user device; determine a plurality of device types corresponding to the plurality of candidate devices; determine a plurality of priorities associated with the plurality of candidate devices based at least in part on the plurality of device types; select a target device from the plurality of candidate devices based at least in part on the plurality of priorities; and cause the action to be performed by the target device.
METHOD FOR COMPLETING INTERNET TELEPHONY CALLS
A call between a calling party and a called party, one or both of whom may be subscribers to Internet Telephony (IT) services, commences upon the receipt of a call dialed by the calling party to the Plain Old Telephony Service (POTS) number associated with the calling party. A first hub receives the call and routes it to the called party if that party is not an IT services subscriber that is currently on line. If the called party is an IT services subscriber that is on-line, the call is received at an Internet Services Provider serving the called party. The ISP converts the call to an IT format if the call is not already in that format and thereafter delivers the call to the called party.
Computer keyboard with telephone keypad, and electronic equipment
Provided are a computer keyboard with a telephone keypad, and an electronic equipment, which relate to the technical field of computer peripherals and human-computer interaction. A main keyboard of the computer keyboard includes a nine-grid numeric key area; the telephone keypad is mapped to the nine-grid numeric key area, and is switched by a key Tel; a numeric keypad is also superposed and multiplexed in the inner nine-grid numeric key area, adopts an arrangement of 123 456 789, and is switched by a key NumLock; and further a scientific calculator is integrated with the computer keyboard. The computer keyboard is not only convenient for making a call, but also can achieve one-hand operation of a T9 input method, and can be used as a scientific calculator of windows 10.
Apparatus and method for computer controlled call processing applications for skills-based routing in packet switched telephone networks
A method is presented comprising transmitting, from an application computer communicably connected to a call controller which is connected to a data network, packetized messages indicative of telephone calls in progress at an endpoint of the data network, or indicative of such endpoint, and transmitting, from the call controller to the application computer, packetized messages indicative of a variety of information contained in, or relevant to, the telephone calls so as to process such information for a variety of applications. Apparatus to implement the method is also presented.

Machine learning dataset generation using a natural language processing technique
A server can receive a plurality of records at a databases such that each record is associated with a phone call and includes at least one request generated based on a transcript of the phone call. The server can generate a training dataset based on the plurality of records. The server can further train a binary classification model using the training dataset. Next, the server can receive a live transcript of a phone call in progress. The server can generate at least one live request based on the live transcript using a natural language processing module of the server. The server can provide the at least one live request to the binary classification model as input to generate a prediction. Lastly, the server can transmit the prediction to an entity receiving the phone call in progress. The prediction can cause a transfer of the call to a chatbot.
