Telecommunication incorporating GPS and identification masking
A telecommunications addressing system/method allowing selection of a telephone instrument device (TID) using arbitrary identifiers is disclosed. The system/method allows a source TID (STD) to select a target TID (TTD) by the use of a Target Telephone Identifier (TTI) data string rather than a traditional numeric telephone identification (NTI). This TTI is then indexed within a TTI/NTI mapping server (TMS) that functions as a hierarchical repository of TTI/NTI mappings. STD/TTD communication is established by first performing a lookup of the STD-selected TTI within the TMS to identify the NTI of the TTD. Once the NTI of the STD has been identified by the TMS, communication between the STD and TTD is established using the NTI via the normal public switched telephone network (PSTN). TMS TTI lookup may be performed via STD TID web application and/or via PSTN infrastructure interface.
METHOD AND CALL MANAGER NODE FOR HANDLING GROUP CALLS
A method and a call manager node (200) for handling calls directed to a group of subscribers. When receiving (2:3) a request from a caller (202) for access to a first group of subscribers (204) having at least one common characteristic, the call manager node assigns (2:4) first caller-specific temporary group number (A1) for the caller, wherein the first group number can be used exclusively by the caller for calling the subscribers in the first group. The call manager node further sends (2:5) the first group number to the caller in response to the request. The caller is then connected (2:7, 2:9, 2:11) to a subscriber in the first group sequentially or according to a scheme each time the caller dials (2:6, 2:8, 2:10) the first group number. The group is created according to a criteria and the anonymity of the called parties is kept. Call hunting.
AUTOMATED CALL REQUESTS WITH STATUS UPDATES
Methods, systems, and apparatus, including computer programs encoded on a computer storage medium, relating to synthetic call status updates. In some implementations, a method includes determining, by a task manager module, that a triggering event has occurred to provide a current status of a user call request. The method may then determine, by the task manager module, the current status of the user call request. A representation of the current status of the user call request is generated. Then, the generated representation of the current status of the user call request is provided to the user.

Method and apparatus for analyzing situation of called terminal, and program for implementing the same
An apparatus provides a method for analyzing a situation of a called terminal based on a sound source provided by a telecommunication service provider. The method includes storing feature informations of situation guidance sound sources provided by telecommunication service providers according to the situation of the called terminal; after a call connection request to a called terminal, receiving a sound source provided by a telecommunication service provider according to a situation of the called terminal; extracting at least one analysis duration of the received sound source with reference to a beep/tone of the received sound source, corresponding to feature informations of at least one candidate sound source among the situation guidance sound sources; and determining a situation of the called terminal based on a matching degree of the received sound source and the candidate sound source relating to a corresponding analysis duration, for respective analysis durations.
AUTOMATED DATA COLLECTION AND ANALYTICS
A device may generate a call plan for a set of testing calls. The device may initiate a testing call to a communication device associated with a target, of the set of targets, using a user profile of the set of user profiles. The device may initiate monitoring for the testing call to identify information associated with the target during the testing call. The device may generate one or more responses to one or more queries based on the user profile. The device may transmit the one or more responses to the one or more queries based on generating the one or more responses to the one or more queries. The device may process stored data regarding testing calls to generate a recommendation relating to the set of targets for the set of testing calls. The device may communicate with one or more other devices to implement the recommendation.
Infinite-Range Remote Controlled Intercom System
The invented system can be utilized as supplementary system for the intercom systems, when the inhabitant does not answer. This system links visitor to the inhabitant regardless of his/her location, via telephone line in activate mode, and provide possibility of remote door opening or telecommunication. The invented system consists of an electronic circuit board, LCD monitor, keypad, SIM card slot and telephone and power ports, which can accompany audio/video door intercom externally or can be used to make a unique indoor intercom and provide ever replying and opening the door possible for the inhabitant from any place.
EMERGENCY CALLBACK SYSTEM
An emergency call back system is described to enable off-duty officers to be contacted in emergency events. The officers can provide an estimated arrival time in response to the call back message from their mobile device and arrival time tracking can be performed to show when officers will arrive in response to the request. Contact information in the database is encrypted and can only be decrypted using a decryption key provided to a party external to the database provider.
