EMERGENCY CALL DATA AGGREGATION AND VISUALIZATION
20210306836 · 2021-09-30 · ·

A system for providing locations of emergency callers receives call data related to emergency calls received at a public safety answering point (PSAP) and a supplemental data signal that includes a location of an emergency. A signal correlation engine determines whether the supplemental data signal corresponds to one of the emergency calls received at the PSAP. A web server provides a user interface that includes a map and a supplemental signal indicator corresponding to the supplemental data signal. The supplemental signal indicator is positioned on the map at the location of the emergency, and the supplemental signal indicator has a visual characteristic indicating whether or not the supplemental data signal corresponds to an emergency call received at the PSAP.

Location-based social software for mobile devices

A method for communicating location information to a device includes receiving, at a computer system that implements a social networking service, location information that represents a geographic location of a device associated with a first user; associating, by the computer system, the received location information with a profile associated with the first user; and sending, from the computer system to a device associated with a second user, a message that is generated based at least in part on the location information.

SYSTEM FOR VOICE CONTROL OF DEVICES AT HOSPITALITY ESTABLISHMENT AND METHOD AND CONTROL SERVER THEREOF
20210176364 · 2021-06-10 ·

A data gate apparatus for integrating functionalities of an interface format into a plurality of services. The data gate comprises a storage device, a communication interface and a processor coupled to the storage device and the communication interface. The processor detects a device supporting a first interface format that is different than the interface formats stored in the storage device. The processor learns the first interface format by receiving data function in the first interface format and associating a field in the data function with a variable representing information of a particular type. The processor verifies that the first interface format has been successfully learnt by generating a message in the first interface format and sending the message to the device. The processor receives a response to the message and parses the response to thereby confirm that the first interface format is functional and integrable into the plurality of services.

CALL TERMINAL, CALL SYSTEM, CONTROL METHOD OF CALL TERMINAL, AND NON-TRANSITORY RECORDING MEDIUM

A call terminal includes: a reception unit configured to receive voice signals of one or more call partners; a localization position determination unit configured to determine localization positions corresponding to respective voice signals received in the reception unit in a manner of not overlapping with each other; and a voice output unit configured to output voices corresponding to voice signals in a manner that the voices are localized at the localization positions determined by the localization position determination unit.

Network conference management and arbitration via voice-capturing devices

Systems and methods are provided for managing a conference call with multiple voice-enabled and voice-capturing devices, such as smart speakers. Reproduced, duplicate voice commands can cause unexpected results in a conference call. The voice commands can be determined to be received from the same conference call. A voice command for a particular voice-enabled device can be selected based on an energy level of an audio signal, event data, time data, and/or user identification.

ROUTE EVALUATION APPARATUS
20210190517 · 2021-06-24 ·

A route-evaluation-apparatus evaluating a route of a worker: including a microprocessor and memory. The microprocessor functions as: an information-acquisition-unit acquiring location-information of the worker calculated based on GPS-signals, and acquiring time-information about when the location-information is calculated. The route-evaluation-apparatus further includes: a display-unit displaying plotted-points corresponding to the location information, and an icon-placement-unit placing a first icon and second icon on the travel route. The microprocessor functions as: a start-point/end-point-selection-unit selecting an end-point corresponding to the second-icon, and a required-time-calculation-unit calculating a required-time-period for a section from the start-point to the end-point. The travel-route sequentially passes through predetermined-areas in a predetermined-passing-order. The icon-placement-unit places the first-icons on each entering-points of the predetermined-areas, and place the second-icons on each exiting-points of the predetermined-areas. The required-time-calculation-unit calculates the required-time-period for each of the sections corresponding to the predetermined-areas.

CALL PROTECT GEOLOCATOR DISPLAY FOR 5G OR OTHER NEXT GENERATION NETWORK

Call spoofing can be mitigated by providing geolocation information to the called device. For example, when a call rings, a geolocator can be invoked and the incoming call display screen can show a carrier logo and/or a geolocator globe illustrating the location of the call originator. The geolocation session initiation protocol data can be confirmed by a network device and compared against carrier specific data of the calling device to authenticate voice calls for called devices. In one embodiment location data of the calling device can purposely be shared in order to facilitate the mitigation of call spoofing.

Bridging Physical and Virtual Spaces

Examples of systems and methods for bridging virtual and physical spaces are described. In some of these examples, a particular communicant's real world state drives changes in one or more of the communications connections, virtual state, and communications interface of the particular communicant or another communicant.

Configuration of telephone ring list based on mobile device location
10992798 · 2021-04-27 · ·

Proximity of a user/device to a designated location or other user/device can be determined and used to trigger automatic reconfiguration of a telephone ring list associated with the user/device. Accordingly, there is no need for manual reconfiguration to accommodate changes in the user's location or schedule. Specific phone numbers may be added or removed from a user's ring list based on the user's location, and the ring list may be reconfigured as the user enters or leaves a location. The user's desired phones will automatically ring for incoming calls based on the ring list and/or an identification of the incoming call.

Method, device, system and network for routing communications
11019202 · 2021-05-25 ·

The present invention relates to a method for routing communications in a telecommunications network comprising a first telephony user device and a server system. The method includes at the first telephony user device: receiving instructions to initiate communications with a contact associated with an address; initiating communications via a channel within the telecommunications network to a local address for the server system; and transmitting information associated with the contact address to the server system via the telecommunications network. A communications action is performed in relation to the contact at the server system. Other methods, devices, systems and networks for routing communications are disclosed.
