NOISE FILTRATIONS BASED ON RADAR

In example implementations, an apparatus is provided. The apparatus includes a microphone, a radar, a memory, and a processor in communication with the microphone, the radar, and the memory. The microphone is to receive audio signals. The radar is to collect data on users in a location. The memory is to store known body positions associated with having a side-conversation. The processor is to determine that a user is having a side-conversation based on the data collected by the radar compared to the known body positions associated with having a side-conversation and filter noise associated with the side-conversation received by the microphone from a direction associated with the user.

An embodiment emergency call sending apparatus includes a telematics module configured to send an emergency call when an accident occurs, and an emergency call complementing module configured to monitor whether an emergency call transmission executed by the telematics module succeeds or fails, search for an available network near a vehicle, access the available network when the emergency call transmission fails, and control a complement of the emergency call transmission.

Systems and methods for intelligent routing of notifications of incoming voice communication requests

This disclosure provides systems, methods and apparatus, including computer programs encoded on computer storage media for intelligent routing of notifications of incoming voice communication requests. A device, such as a smartphone, may receive an incoming voice communication request, such as a cellular voice call. The smartphone may then identify devices connected to it, such as headsets, tablets, etc., and request each device activate a microphone or camera to attempt to locate the user with respect to the connected devices. The smartphone may then select one of the connected devices, or itself, as the device best able to notify the user of the incoming call based on captured audio, images, or video. The smartphone may then request the selected device output a notification, such as a ring tone, to notify the user of the incoming call. Such a technique may avoid inundating the user with simultaneous call notifications from multiple devices.

EMERGENCY CALL SYSTEM, EMERGENCY CALL METHOD, AND PROGRAM

An emergency notification system includes: an emergency notification control device 10 that notifies an emergency institution of an emergency notification from an emergency notification agency; and a reception base that receives the emergency notification. The emergency notification control device includes a registration list in which the emergency notification agency is registered and a filtering unit that transmits only the emergency notification from the emergency notification agency registered in the registration list to the emergency institution, and the reception base receives the emergency notification transmitted by the filtering unit.

METHOD TO DETERMINE THE QUALITY OF CIVIC ADDRESS PRODUCED BY REVERSE GEOCODER
20230258762 · 2023-08-17 ·

Systems and methods are provided for determining the quality of a civic address produced by a reverse geocoder, utilizing the uncertainty of a geodetic location and a distance between the geodetic location and a geocoded location (i.e., a civic address) determined by the reverse geocoder. Upon receiving a request by a PSAP for a civic address corresponding to a UE initiating a call for emergency services, a node initially identifies a geodetic location of the UE and an uncertainty of the geodetic location. The node initiates an API call to a reverse geocoder API. The node receives a geocoded location corresponding to the geodetic location and compares the geocoded location to the geodetic location to determine a distance between them. Based on the uncertainty of the geodetic location and the distance between the geodetic location and the geocoded location, a quality of the civic address is determined.

CONTENT PUBLISHING SYSTEMS AND METHODS

A system for publishing digital content is described which, in one embodiment, includes a beacon device associated with a first user configured to transmit identification information and information indicating its current position. A browsing device includes a display configured and adapted to display to a second user a representation of a local geographical area, and to selectively display to the second user content information associated with the first user, based at least in part on whether the location of the beacon device is within the local geographical area.

TRANSACTION FRAUD PREVENTION TOOL

Various examples are directed to systems and methods for detecting potentially fraudulent voice calls to a financial services institution. A computing system may receive an indication of a voice call placed by a voice caller to an operator. The computing system may generate a network address indicator describing a network location. The network address indicator may be provided to the voice caller. The computing system may receive an indication of a financial services account indicated by the voice caller. The computing system may also receive an indication of an access to the network location by a remote device. The computing system may determine, using the indication of the access to the network location, a first location associated with the remote device and determine that the first location does not match a second location associated with the financial services account. The computing system may generate an alert indicating that the voice call is potentially fraudulent.

Integrated emergency event detection and mapping including concurrent emergency call routing

A software platform includes emergency event processing functionality for detecting and mapping emergency event occurrences. The emergency event processing includes call path processing for concurrently routing an emergency call from a device registered with the software platform for a customer thereof to a public safety access point and to a monitoring device of the customer. The concurrent routing enables an operator of the monitoring device to join the emergency call, for example, by monitoring the call to determine how to notify other operators of the customer of the subject emergency event or by participating in the call to assist in the emergency event response. The concurrent routing may further automate, and therefore expedite, the signaling of an emergency event to others at the location of the emergency event, such as to prevent further risk of harm.

Detection of Spoofed Calls Using Call Header
20220124195 · 2022-04-21 ·

Implementations described herein relate to methods, systems, and computer-readable media to label incoming phone calls. A method to label an incoming phone call includes detecting the incoming phone call associated with a caller identifier (ID), determining a location associated with the call, and analyzing a call header of the call to determine one or more call characteristics. The method further includes determining, based on the location and the call characteristics, if the location is spoofed and determining, based on the caller ID and the call characteristics, if an access network associated with the call is spoofed. The method further includes applying a trained machine learning model to determine whether the call is a robocall. The method further includes assigning a label to the call that indicates whether the call is a spoofed call or is the robocall and sending the label to a callee device associated with the call.

Method and system for repositioning a service location

A network computer service can receive a service request associated with a first service location. Additionally, the network computer service can detect a user action to associate the service request with a second service location. In some examples, the user input can be detected on a user device. In other examples, the second service location can be different from the first service location. Moreover, the network computer service can determine the second service location satisfies a predetermined permissibility criterion for permitting change of the first service location to the second service location. In response to determining the second service location satisfies the predetermined permissibility criterion, the network computer service can transmit an instruction to cause a device to associate the service request with the second service location in place of the first service location.
