Systems, methods, articles of manufacture, and computer-readable media. A server may receive a phone call and generate a uniform resource locator (URL) comprising a session identifier for an account. The server may transmit the URL to a client device. The server may receive, from a web browser, a request comprising the URL. The server may determine that the session identifier in the URL of the request matches the session identifier for the account, and transmit, to the web browser, a web page at the URL. The server may receive, from the web browser, a cryptogram read by the web page via a card reader of the client device and decrypt the cryptogram. The server may authenticate the identity of the caller for the call based on decrypting the cryptogram and the session identifier of the URL matching the session identifier of the account.

The present disclosure relates to an imaging device, a control method, and a program that are capable of automatically performing power-on control in response to contactless communication and performing an imaging preparation operation after transmission of connection information for a wireless communication connection is completed. An imaging device includes: a contactless communication part configured to perform contactless communication with an external device; and a control part configured to control power-on/off of the imaging device and an imaging preparation operation, in which the control part performs control to set the power of the imaging device ON upon detecting a polling command transmitted by the contactless communication from the external device, transmits connection information for wireless communication connection with the external device to the external device after the imaging device is powered on, and performs control such that the imaging preparation operation is performed, when the transmission of the connection information is completed.

A near field communication (NFC) reader module is provided for mounting over a metal panel of a vehicle. A housing of the module is configured to mount adjacent the metal panel. The housing contains a planar array of non-magnetic RF filter elements in the housing proximate to the metal panel. The housing contains a planar antenna coil configured to couple with an external NFC device carried by a user, wherein the array of RF filter elements is disposed between the planar antenna coil and the metal panel to magnetically decouple the planar antenna coil from the metal panel. The housing further contains receiver circuitry configured to decode NFC signals from the external NFC device.

The invention relates to systems and methods to enable a mobile device to be used as a remote control, in order to control one or more remotely controllable objects. In possible embodiments of the invention, proximity-based (or other) remote controls include control authorization to enable the transfer or sharing of control between different remote controls being implemented on different mobile devices, in order to permit different users to transfer or share control of a same remotely controllable object, for example. In other possible embodiments of the invention, a proximity-based (or other) remote control uses control authentication to enable the pairing of a remote control implemented on a device and a remotely controllable object, for example. Various embodiments of control authority and control authentication are possible and anticipated by the invention to address a wide range of practical remote control applications and provide many benefits to users.

A device may receive an indication that an ATM transaction is to be conducted, display prompt(s) for a user to input user authentication credential information and to select an ATM transaction type, detect user input(s) that include a user authentication credential and a selection of a particular ATM transaction type, and receive, from an ATM device, a request to establish a communication session. The ATM device may include a sync button to initiate communicative coupling of the ATM device and the user device. The request may be based on a user selection of the sync button. The device may communicatively couple to the ATM device, and provide, to the ATM device, the user authentication credential and data regarding the particular ATM transaction type to cause the ATM device to perform the ATM transaction. The device may display information regarding the ATM transaction.

Example embodiments of systems, methods, and devices for transaction card alignment are provided. In one example embodiment, a mobile device may include a first component and a second component foldable with respect to one another between a first configuration and a second configuration. The mobile device may further include a screen interface on an interior side of the first component, and an alignment feature along the interior side, the alignment feature providing alignment for a contactless card with respect to the screen interface, wherein the contactless card is uncovered by the second component in the first configuration and covered by the second component in the second configuration.

Various embodiments described herein are directed towards authenticating calls by using one or more keys associated with a specific user. In examples, the user is the sender of a call. In various embodiments, when a call is made, an identifying payload is encrypted using a private key associated with the user. The encrypted identifying payload is appended to the call data stream. The identifying payload may be decrypted with a public key. In embodiments, the identifying payload may be verified. In various embodiments, further authentication methods may be performed by using an object such as a contactless card to provide one or more components of the identifying payload and/or keys. In embodiments, a connection may be made between the sender and the intended recipient of a call based on the verification of the identifying payload.

Various embodiments relate to an electronic device. The processor may be configured to obtain at least one of first information related to the first cover or second information related to the second cover, identify at least one of a type of the first cover or a type of the second cover based on at least one of the first information or the second information, and perform a designated operation based on at least one of the type of the first cover or the type of the second cover.
