NFC apparatus capable to perform a contactless tag reading function
An NFC device may include a first and second controller interfaces, a first communication channel coupled to the first controller interface, and a second communication channel connected to the second controller interface. A secure element may include a secure element interface connected to the first communication channel and encryption/decryption circuitry configured to encrypt data to be sent on the first communication channel for being framed into the encrypted frames and to decrypt encrypted data extracted from the encrypted frames and received from the first communication channel. The secure element may also include management circuitry configured to control the encryption/decryption circuitry for managing the encrypted communication with the NFC controller. A device host may include a host device interface coupled to the second controller interface and control means or circuitry configured to control the management circuitry through non-encrypted commands exchanged on the first and second communication channels.
Mobile terminal and pendant connected therewith
A pendant for use with a mobile terminal, including: a pendant body containing an antenna; and a pendant cord connected with the pendant body, the pendant cord enclosing a cable connected to the antenna for transmitting and receiving radio frequency signals.
Data transmission system
A data transmission system comprises an operation apparatus and a matrix display apparatus. The matrix display apparatus includes a display panel and a control unit. The control unit receives a data stream and transmits at least a part of the data stream to an electrode on the display panel. When the operation apparatus operates on a display surface of the matrix display apparatus, at least a part of the data stream is coupled to the operation apparatus from the matrix display apparatus. Thereby, the data stream such as data or file can be transmitted to the operation apparatus from the matrix display apparatus through a wireless communication. The data transmission system of the invention can be combined with the application of the near field communication, and the data or file can be transmitted to another electronic apparatus through the display apparatus so that the application can be expanded.
RFID information used to unlock a user interface for a wireless communication device
Embodiments disclosed herein provide systems and methods for unlocking a wireless communication device into an operating mode based on RFID element information. In a particular embodiment, a method provides locking a user interface on the wireless communication device. The method further provides receiving a wireless signal from a first Radio Frequency Identification (RFID) element and responsively determining if the wireless signal comprises a valid unlock instruction. If the first signal comprises the valid unlock instruction, then the method provides selecting one of the operating modes for the wireless communication device, unlocking the user interface on the wireless communication device, and operating the wireless communication device in the selected operating mode.
Electronic device including antenna
According to an embodiment, an electronic device may include: a housing including a first surface and a second surface facing away from the first surface; a display at least partially accommodated in the housing and viewable through the first surface; a conductive layer disposed between the display and the second surface and including a first opening; a support disposed between the second surface and the conductive layer and including a conductive portion; and a wireless communication circuit electrically connected to the conductive layer, and configured to transmit and/or receive a signal through an antenna including at least a portion of the conductive layer surrounding the first opening.
File information system management system and method
A method and system is provided for editing a file information system of a host device by using a client device connected to the host device via a Near Field Communication (NFC) channel while maintaining the foreground-running application execution screen of the host device. A method for managing a file information system of a host device by using a client device according to the present invention includes establishing a near field communication channel between the client device and the host device; copying the file information system from the host device to the client device; editing, at the client device, the file information system by means of an application selected in the file information system; and updating the file information system stored in the host device with the edited file information system which is transmitted from the client device to the host device.
Proximity-enabled remote control
The invention relates to systems and methods that enable a mobile device to be approximated with an object in order to enable control of the object. In one possible embodiment of a method of the invention, a mobile device is brought in physical proximity with an object, the identity of the object is determined wirelessly, based on such determination, a remote control user interface is presented by the mobile device, the mobile device receives input relating to a desired control action for the object, and the mobile device wirelessly communicates with a remote computer to facilitate control of the object. Various embodiments of the invention are possible to address a wide range of practical applications.
Electronic device and call-forwarding control method thereof
A method and an electronic device for controlling call-forwarding of the electronic device corresponding to first call address information is provided. The electronic device includes transmitting, to at least one of a server or a second electronic device corresponding to second call address information, a call-forwarding request to forward, to the electronic device, at least one of incoming calls or messages addressed to the second call address information of the second electronic device; and providing the at least one of the requested incoming calls or messages addressed to the second call address information.
NEAR FIELD COMMUNICATION ANTENNA AND SMARTPHONE HAVING ANTENNA
A near field communication (NFC) antenna and a smartphone having the antenna are disclosed. The present disclosure provides a parallel stacked NFC antenna, of a smartphone, suitable for NFC communication. In addition, provided is a component arrangement structure capable of performing effective NFC communication by determining the location of the NFC antenna on the basis of the location of a slit arranged in a metal housing, and a battery.
MODIFYING THE TYPE OF INTERACTION BETWEEN A MOBILE COMPUTING DEVICE AND A PERIPHERAL DEVICE BASED ON PROXIMITY
In general, the subject matter described in this disclosure can be embodied in methods, devices, and program products for modifying interactions between a mobile device and a peripheral device based on proximity. The mobile device monitors a wireless communication channel and receives a transmission from the peripheral device over the channel indicating that the mobile device is located within a first zone of proximity to the peripheral device. The mobile device determines distance values between the devices. When the mobile device determines that a distance value satisfies a threshold value, the mobile device visually indicates that it is within a second zone of proximity to the peripheral device. As a result of the mobile device receiving data from the peripheral device using a second communication protocol, the mobile device determines that it is located within a third zone of proximity to the peripheral device, and performs an action.
