Voice Call Method, Electronic Device, and System
A voice call method, device and system, the method including establishing, by a first device, a Bluetooth link to a second device, receiving, by the first device, call request information sent by a third device, sending the call request information to a second device through the Bluetooth link, sending, by the first device in response to an answer command from the second device, the answer command to the third device, establishing, by the first device, a call with the third device, sending a downlink audio signal received from the third device to the second device, or sending and uplink audio signal received from the second device to the third device, and converting, by the first device, in response to a sound channel switching command and receiving a downlink audio signal sent by the third device, the downlink audio signal into a sound signal, and playing the sound signal.
Adjusting Signal Settings for a Display Using a Light Sensor
In some implementations, a mobile computing device may participate in the calibration of an output signal of a media device. This calibration process includes storing device-specific calibration data which is related to properties of a light sensor of the mobile device. The mobile device then detects of properties of light emitted by the display device during a presentation to obtain sensor values related to light emitted by the display device during the presentation. The calibration process may also ensure that the mobile device is proximate to the display device prior to obtaining the sensor values. The collected sensor values are adjusted using device-specific calibration data stored to the mobile device to normalize the sensor values relative to a baseline. These normalized sensor values are sent to the media device for use in adjusting the output signal based on the normalized sensor values.
REDUCED SIZE CONFIGURATION INTERFACE
In response to detecting that an external device is within communication range of an electronic device and in accordance with a determination that the external device is in a pairing mode, the electronic device displays an affordance corresponding to a pairing application of the electronic device. In response to detecting that an external device is within communication range of an electronic device and in accordance with a determination that the external device is not in the pairing mode, the electronic device forgoes display of the affordance. In response to user input corresponding to selection of the affordance, the electronic device displays a user interface associated with initiating a process to pair the electronic device and the external device.
Extending use of a cellular communication capabilities in a wireless device to another device
Extending cellular telecommunication service from a first UE to another device. The first UE may register for cellular telecommunication service with a cellular network using a first cellular service account, using a cellular communication link via a cellular radio. A second device may be discovered and a communication link may be established between the first UE and the second device. The second device may be registered to use cellular telecommunication capability provided by the first UE. Communications between the second device and the cellular network may be conveyed via the communication link between the first UE and the second device and the cellular communication link. Conveying communications between the second device and the cellular network may provide use of the first cellular service account for cellular telecommunication service to the second device.
METHODS AND APPARATUS FOR REDUCING CELLULAR TELEPHONE RADIATION EXPOSURE
In some aspects, a cellular telephone includes (1) a user interface portion having a communications circuit; and (2) a cellular portion having a first communications circuit adapted to communicate with the communications circuit of the user interface portion and a second communications circuit adapted to communicate with a cellular network. The cellular portion is removably coupled to the user interface portion so as to allow a user of the cellular telephone to communicate over a cellular network by using the user interface portion while the cellular portion is separated from the user interface portion. Numerous other aspects are provided.
Information processing apparatus, terminal apparatus, information processing method and program
An object of the preset invention is to prevent unnecessary wireless connection from being established and to improve security. An information processing apparatus includes: a notifying unit that notifies a plurality of services which the information processing apparatus provides; a receiving unit that receives a connection request in which one service among the plurality of services is designated, from a terminal apparatus; and a controlling unit that when allowing the connection request, establishes a connection with the terminal apparatus, based on a communication method of wireless communication concerning the connection request and the designated service, and when not allowing the connection request, does not establish the connection with the terminal apparatus.
Communication apparatus capable of establishing wireless connection with access point
A communication apparatus may comprise a first wireless interface for executing a wireless communication in accordance with a first communication scheme and a second wireless interface for executing a wireless communication in accordance with a second communication scheme. The communication apparatus may receive first access point information from an external apparatus via the first interface, execute a first establishing process for establishing a first wireless connection via the second interface with a first access point using the first access point information, communicate with a particular apparatus via the second interface while relaying the first access point in a case where the establishment of the first wireless connection succeeds, and send failure information to the external apparatus via the first interface in a case where the establishment of the first wireless connection fails.
METHODS, SYSTEMS, AND MEDIA FOR CONTROLLING INFORMATION USED TO PRESENT CONTENT ON A PUBLIC DISPLAY DEVICE
Methods, systems, and media for controlling information utilized to present content using a public display device are provided. In some implementations a method for presenting content on a public display device is provided, the method comprising: (a) initiating communication with one or more display devices; (b) selecting a display device; (c) establishing a communication channel with the selected display device; (d) receiving information related to an area of a screen allocated for use by the user device; (e) identifying content that is to be presented using the selected display device; (f) generating formatted content based on the area of the screen allocated for use by the user device; (g) transmitting the formatted content to the display device using the communication channel; and repeating at least (e) to (g) until (h) determining that presentation of content using the selected display device is to be inhibited.
METHOD FOR NETWORK SHARING AND RELATED DEVICES
A method for network sharing and related devices are provided. The method for network sharing and related devices are applied to an electronic device with a WIFI module. The method includes the following. Upon detecting a network-sharing enablement request, whether the electronic device has created two first network interfaces for WIFI network access through the WIFI module is determined. One of the two first network interfaces is released upon a determination that the electronic device has created the two first network interfaces through the WIFI module. Network sharing is enabled once the one of the two first network interfaces is successfully released.
DATA TRANSMISSION METHOD AND ELECTRONIC DEVICE
This application provides a data transmission method. The method includes: An electronic device first establishes an MPTCP connection to an application server, where the MPTCP connection includes two TCP connections. Then, the electronic device receives indication information from an application server, where the indication information includes a type identifier and a parameter. When the type identifier indicates a low data transmission delay requirement, the electronic device receives, in a first time period after the electronic device receives the indication information, the data stream by using a first TCP connection. When an accumulated data amount actually received by the electronic device in the first time period is less than a product of the parameter and duration corresponding to the first time period, the electronic device receives the data stream in a second time period by using both the two TCP connections.
