Electronic Device With Flexible Display Structures
An electronic device may have a flexible display. The electronic device may have housing portions that are rotatably coupled to each other so that the flexible display may fold along one or more bend axes. A device may have rollers that store a flexible display and that help deploy the display from within a housing when additional display area is desired. A touch screen in a housing may be overlapped by a flexible display that has been scrolled outwardly from the housing. Wireless transmitter and receiver circuitry may be used to convey image data to display driver circuitry. The display driver circuitry may display images on a pixel array in a flexible display based on the image data. Magnets may be used to outwardly bias edge-mounted bistable support structures to help prevent a rolled flexible display from wrinkling.
FLEXIBLE DISPLAY APPARATUS
A flexible display apparatus includes a display module, a metal plate and a sensor. The display module has a flexible area. The metal plate is disposed under the display module, and the metal plate includes a patterned portion overlapped with the flexible area. The sensor has a sensing layer disposed at a first side of the metal plate close to the display module and a sensing driving component electrically connected to the sensing layer and disposed at a second side of the metal plate opposite to the first side.
ELECTRONIC DEVICE
An electronic device includes a display panel and an input sensor disposed on the display panel and having a first sensing electrode extending in a first direction. The first sensing electrode includes a first trunk portion extending in the first direction and a first branch portion extending from the first trunk portion in a second direction crossing the first direction. The first branch portion includes a plurality of first branches and a plurality of second branches. The first branches extend in a direction opposite to a direction in which the second branches extend in the second direction, and the number of the first branches is equal to the number of the second branches.
Portable electronic device, method, and graphical user interface for displaying electronic documents and lists
In a computer-implemented method, a portion of an electronic document is displayed on a touch screen display of a portable multifunction device. The displayed portion has a vertical position and a horizontal position in the electronic document. An object is detected on or near the displayed portion of the electronic document. In response to detecting the object, a vertical bar and a horizontal bar are displayed on top of the displayed portion. The vertical bar has a vertical position on top of the displayed portion that corresponds to the vertical position in the electronic document of the displayed portion. The horizontal bar has a horizontal position on top of the displayed portion that corresponds to the horizontal position in the electronic document of the displayed portion. After a predetermined condition is met, display of the vertical bar and of the horizontal bar is ceased.
HEALTH APPLICATION USER INTERFACES
The present disclosure generally relates to health-related user interfaces. In some embodiments, user interfaces for managing health-related data are described. In some embodiments, user interfaces for viewing health data are described. In some embodiments, user interfaces related to sharing health data are described.
Devices, methods, and graphical user interfaces for messaging
An electronic device displays a messaging user interface of a message application, including a conversation transcript of a messaging session between a user of the electronic device and at least one other user, a message-input area, the conversation transcript including a plurality of messages and a plurality of message regions, each message region containing a respective message of the plurality of messages. In response to a first input corresponding to a first respective message in the conversation transcript, displaying an indication that the first respective message has been selected. In response to one or more second inputs, including message composition inputs, displaying in a second message region in the conversation transcript a second message corresponding to the message composition inputs, and displaying a grouping indicia that connects the first respective message region with the second message region.
Methods and systems for positioning animated images within a dynamic keyboard interface
The present disclosure is directed to positioning animated images within a dynamic keyboard interface. In particular, the methods and systems of the present disclosure can: receive, from a user device on which an application is executed, data indicating a context of: the application, and/or a dynamic keyboard interface provided in association with the application; identify, based at least in part on the data indicating the context, a plurality of different animated images, including an animated image comprising an advertisement, for presentation by the dynamic keyboard interface; communicate, to the user device, data indicating the plurality of different animated images; receive, from the user device, data indicating a selection of the animated image comprising the advertisement; and determine, based at least in part on the data indicating the selection and the data indicating the context, a position within the dynamic keyboard interface for presenting the animated image comprising the advertisement.
Method for Controlling Touchscreen and Electronic Device
A touchscreen of an electronic device includes a first region and a second region, which each correspond to a baseline, and the baseline corresponds to a capacitance value when a region corresponding to the baseline is not touched. A method for controlling the touchscreen includes that the electronic device receives a first touch signal in a first region on the touchscreen, and the electronic device maintains a baseline corresponding to the first region unchanged in response to the first touch signal in the first region.
Methods and devices for precluding execution of functions associated with touch actuators
An electronic device includes a device housing supporting a touch actuator operable to initiate a predefined function of the electronic device. One or more processors of the electronic device are operable with the touch actuator. The one or more processors preclude initiation of the predefined function when a predefined condition occurs while the touch actuator is actuated.
Electronic device having grip sensor and method of controlling the electronic device having grip sensor
A foldable electronic device is provided. The foldable electronic device includes a first housing, a second housing rotatably coupled to the first housing, at least one antenna disposed in at least one of the first housing or the second housing, a first grip sensor disposed in the first housing, a second grip sensor disposed in the second housing, and at least one processor. The at least one processor is configured to obtain a first detection value through the first grip sensor, obtain a second detection value through the second grip sensor, and decrease the strength of a signal output from the at least one antenna based on the first detection value and the second detection value.
