PORTABLE ELECTRONIC DEVICE, METHOD, AND GRAPHICAL USER INTERFACE FOR DISPLAYING ELECTRONIC DOCUMENTS AND LISTS
In a computer-implemented method, a portion of an electronic document is displayed on a touch screen display of a portable multifunction device. The displayed portion has a vertical position and a horizontal position in the electronic document. An object is detected on or near the displayed portion of the electronic document. In response to detecting the object, a vertical bar and a horizontal bar are displayed on top of the displayed portion. The vertical bar has a vertical position on top of the displayed portion that corresponds to the vertical position in the electronic document of the displayed portion. The horizontal bar has a horizontal position on top of the displayed portion that corresponds to the horizontal position in the electronic document of the displayed portion. After a predetermined condition is met, display of the vertical bar and of the horizontal bar is ceased.
DISPLAY DEVICE
A display device includes a display panel, an adhesive layer on the display panel and comprising a plurality of layers having different loss modulus and glass transition temperatures Tg, a cover window on the adhesive layer, and an actuator at the cover window. Then, the adhesive layer includes a first adhesive layer having a lower loss modulus and a glass transition temperature Tg and a second adhesive layer having a higher loss modulus and a glass transition temperature Tg.
ELECTRONIC DEVICE
An electronic device includes a panel having a working area and a peripheral area, signal lines, sub-pixels, bio-sensor units, a first switch unit and a second switch unit. The signal lines are disposed on the panel and have a first signal line and a second signal line. The sub-pixels and the bio-sensor units are disposed in the working area. The sub-pixels have a first sub-pixel and a second sub-pixel. The bio-sensor units have a first bio-sensor unit which is electrically connected to the first signal line. The first switch unit and the second switch unit are disposed in the peripheral area and respectively electrically connected to the first sub-pixel and the second sub-pixel through the first signal line and the second signal line. A first time period that the first switch unit is turned on is longer than a second time period that the second switch unit is turned on.
ELECTRONIC DEVICE
An electronic device includes: a display panel having a first area and a second area, the second area being spaced apart from the first area in a first direction; a support plate under the display panel, the support plate including: a folding part configured to be folded about a folding axis extending in a second direction crossing the first direction; a first support part extending from the folding part in the first direction; and a second support part spaced apart from the first support part with the folding part therebetween; a first plate spaced apart from the first area of the display panel with the support plate therebetween; and an input sensor spaced apart from the second area of the display panel with the support plate therebetween and configured to sense an external input. The first plate and the input sensor face each other.
INTERACTIVE DISPLAY PLATFORM BETWEEN A USER DEVICE AND A DISPLAY SLATE
In a user device such as a smartphone, frequent display screen activation causes undesirable power consumption and other inconveniences to the user, such as taking out his smartphone from a pocket to look at its screen, which increases the chances of his smartphone being dropped or damaged. Based upon such problem recognition, the present inventor conceived various inventive features that allow user relevant information to be provided onto a so-called display slate, without having to activate the display screen of the user device. Such an interactive display platform allows for performing a wireless pairing operation between a user device and at least one display slate located in proximity to the user device, providing, on the display slate, user relevant information related to or received from the user device without the screen of the user device being activated, and allowing, via the display slate, the user to interact with the user relevant information provided thereon.
ELECTRONIC DEVICE INCLUDING DISPLAY MODULE HAVING MULTIPLE FPCBS
An electronic device is provided. The electronic device includes a frame, a first partition wall protruding from the frame in a first direction and dividing the frame into a first area and a second area, a second partition wall portion protruding from the frame in the first direction and dividing the frame into a second area and a third area, a first printed circuit board disposed in the first area, a battery disposed in the second area, a second printed circuit board disposed in the third area, and a display circuit including at least two flexible printed circuit boards. The flexible printed circuit boards include an overlapping area in which at least some areas overlap, the overlapping area being disposed in the second area, and, in the frame, an opening is formed in a portion facing the overlapping area.
HANDHELD ELECTRONIC DEVICE
A portable electronic device may include an enclosure including a housing component and a front cover coupled to the housing component and defining a front exterior surface of the portable electronic device. The portable electronic device may also include a display positioned below the front cover, the display defining an active display region, a first hole surrounded by the active display region, and a second hole surrounded by the active display region. The portable electronic device may also include a first optical sensor positioned below the front cover and below the first hole, a second optical sensor positioned below the front cover and below the second hole, and a touch-sensing component configured to detect a first touch input applied to the front cover in the active display region of the display and a second touch input applied to the front cover over the first hole in the display.
Phone user interface
An electronic device having a user interface for accessing phone features. The user interface accounts for whether the electronic device is connected to a companion cellular phone. The user interface accounts for a headset is available for use to carry on a call. The user interface permits transition between using one or more of cellular phone, headset, and/or the electronic device to be used for carrying on incoming or outgoing calls.
LIST SCROLLING AND DOCUMENT TRANSLATION, SCALING, AND ROTATION ON A TOUCH-SCREEN DISPLAY
In accordance with some embodiments, a computer-implemented method for use in conjunction with a device with a touch screen display is disclosed. In the method, a movement of an object on or near the touch screen display is detected. In response to detecting the movement, an electronic document displayed on the touch screen display is translated in a first direction. If an edge of the electronic document is reached while translating the electronic document in the first direction while the object is still detected on or near the touch screen display, an area beyond the edge of the document is displayed. After the object is no longer detected on or near the touch screen display, the document is translated in a second direction until the area beyond the edge of the document is no longer displayed.
USER INTERFACE FOR RECEIVING USER INPUT
The present disclosure relates to user interfaces for receiving user input. In some examples, a device determines which user input technique a user has accessed most recently, and displays the corresponding user interface. In some examples, a device scrolls through a set of information on the display. When a threshold criteria is satisfied, the device displays an index object fully or partially overlaying the set of information. In some examples, a device displays an emoji graphical object, which is visually manipulated based on user input. The emoji graphical object is transmitted to a recipient. In some examples, a device displays paging affordances that enlarge and allow a user to select a particular page of a user interface. In some examples, the device displays user interfaces for various input methods, including multiple emoji graphical objects. In some examples, a keyboard is displays for receiving user input.
