Method and electronic device for automatically managing events based on time-zone difference

A method for automatically managing events based on time-zone difference is provided. The proposed method includes identifying at least one event associated with at least one of a secondary electronic device or the primary electronic device, wherein the at least one event is associated with a first time interval. Further, the proposed method includes identifying a second time interval associated with at least one of the primary electronic device or the secondary electronic device. Further, the proposed method includes determining a time-zone difference between the first time interval and the second time interval based on at least one time-zone parameter associated with the first time interval and the second time interval. Furthermore, the proposed method includes updating a time interval of the at least one event based on the time-zone difference.

NOTIFICATION PROVIDING METHOD AND ELECTRONIC DEVICE IMPLEMENTING SAME

Various embodiments provide an electronic device and a method, the electronic device comprising a memory; a communication unit; a display; and a processor functionally connected to the memory, the communication unit, or the display, wherein the processor is configured to identify log information associated with a notification received through the communication unit, determine a display order of the notification based on the log information, and display the notification on the display based on the determined display order. Also, other embodiments are possible.

Collaborative phone reputation system

Various systems and methods for a collaborative phone reputation system are described herein. A system for implementing a collaborative phone reputation system includes a compute device comprising: a call handling module to detect, at the compute device, an incoming call for a user of the compute device; a scoring module to determine a local probabilistic score that the incoming call is desirable for the user; and an execution module to perform an action at the compute device based on the local probabilistic score.

User interface for virtual assistant interactions on telephony device

A user interface for virtual assistant interactions on a telephony device may be provided. First, a plurality of lines associated with the telephony device, including a designated line for a user and a shared line for a virtual assistant, may be displayed through the user interface. Next, in response to receiving an incoming call to the designated line, a plurality of features associated with handling the incoming call, including an assistant feature to direct the incoming call to the virtual assistant, may be displayed through the user interface. Then, in response to the incoming call being directed to the virtual assistant, a plurality of features associated with managing a conversation between the virtual assistant and a caller during the incoming call may be displayed through the user interface. After the incoming call has ended, a call history associated with the incoming call may be displayed through the user interface.

Electronic device, control method and non-transitory storage medium for associating a text message with a call

An electronic device comprises: a display; a communication unit; and a processor configured to control input of a transmission text message to be transmitted along with making an outgoing call. The processor is configured to, when a call receiver is chosen on the display, execute a process based on add-ons relating to input of the text message.

System and method for identifying unwanted communications using communication fingerprinting

A method for identifying communicators as wanted or unwanted based on messages from such communicators comprising receiving, by the data processing system, an inbound message from a communicator, comparing, by the data processing system, the inbound message to fingerprints stored in a database accessible to the data processing system, determining, by the data processing system, at least one match to the fingerprints, determining, by the data processing system, an identity of the communicator by determining whether and how likely the communicator is wanted or unwanted based on the at least one match to the fingerprints, and configuring, by the data processing system, handling of calls from the communicator based on the identity.

Managing a call log of a communication device can include generation of a display list with list entries that are derived from the log entries of the call log, and provision of the display list for a user of the communication device. The order of the list entries in the display list can be determined by an evaluation of at least one criterion (e.g. current device parameters, current connection parameters, upcoming or current calendar events, a previous frequency of contact with the communication partner to whom the log entry is assigned, previous acceptances/rejections when contacted by the communication partner to whom the log entry is assigned, weather data, for example, temperature and/or precipitation at the time the display list was generated.

MISSED TELEPHONE CALL MANAGEMENT FOR A PORTABLE MULTIFUNCTION DEVICE

In accordance with some embodiments, an electronic device is described. In some embodiments, while displaying a user interface of a messaging application, the device concurrently displays at least a portion of a representation of a message, where the message is included in a first message folder of a plurality of message folders, and the plurality of message folders. In some embodiments, while concurrently displaying at least the portion of the representation of the message and the plurality of message folders, the device detects user selection of a second message folder. In some embodiments, in response to detecting the user selection, the device moves the message from the first message folder to the second message folder such that the message is included in the second message folder, and displays a graphical indication that the message has been moved from the first message folder to the second message folder.

Method of displaying an event in a mobile terminal and mobile terminal implementing the same

A method of, and a mobile terminal configured for, efficiently displaying an event indication in the form of a pop-up box during idle mode of a mobile terminal is provided. Upon occurrence of a second event in idle mode, it is determined whether an event pop-up box indicating an occurrence of a first event of the same type as the second event exists. When the event pop-up box indicating the occurrence of the first event exists, the event pop-up box is updated with information indicating the occurrence of the second event and displayed on a display.
