Examples of the present disclosure provide a method, apparatus and terminal device for obtaining a call log of a terminal device. The method includes: when requesting for call log data of a terminal device, determining whether the terminal device is already in jailbreak; when the terminal device is not in jailbreak, from a call log database corresponding to an application program with a call function, obtaining call log data corresponding to the application program, and displaying the call log data through a User Interface (UI); and when the terminal device is in jailbreak, obtaining a full amount of call log data of the terminal device by a service program running background or a hook system interface, and displaying the full amount of call log data through a UI. According to the present disclosure, obtaining the call log data compatible with both the non jailbreak terminal device and the jailbreak terminal device is achieved.

A method and system are provided for enabling voice communications via a messaging application. The method comprises enabling an instant messaging (IM) presence status option to be selected; and blocking an incoming voice communication when the presence status option has been selected. A method and system are also provided comprising displaying a first instant message in an instant messaging conversation user interface comprising call status information; and displaying updated call status information in the instant messaging conversation user interface after determining whether an call attempt has been successful.

Various examples provide a method and an apparatus for removing notification icons. The present invention provides a mobile terminal with a call function or a texting function. Systems and methods consistent with the invention relate to automated business and service dialing. According to one exemplary embodiment, a business dialing system is disclosed. The system includes a memory configured to store a plurality of business objects containing phone numbers corresponding to a plurality of business entities. The system further includes a user input device configured to detect key presses. The system also includes a processor coupled to the user input device and the memory. The processor is configured to generate a key sequence and a number sequence based on the detected key presses. The processor is further configured to search the memory for business objects corresponding to the key sequence. The system further includes a display device configured to display the number sequence and the business objects. The user input interface is further configured to detect a selection of a business object, among the business objects, or a dial command. The processor is configured to perform an action associated with the selected business object if the selection of the business object is detected, and dial the number sequence as a phone number if the dial command is detected.

A method of, and a mobile terminal configured for, efficiently displaying an event indication in the form of a pop-up box during idle mode of a mobile terminal is provided. Upon occurrence of a second event in idle mode, it is determined whether an event pop-up box indicating an occurrence of a first event of the same type as the second event exists. The at least one processor is configured to implement the method, including receiving a first notification for a first application, generating, by at least one processor, a first notification page including at least a part of the first notification, generating an abstract page including a first object related to the first notification and displaying the abstract page on a display, and switching from displaying the abstract page to displaying the first notification page in response to detecting an input signal selecting the first object, wherein the abstract page and the first notification page are generated and displayed based on a same application or home application.
