AUDIO SYSTEMS AND METHODS
A system for receiving multiple conversations or messages and for playing the multiple conversations or messages with a mobile device and wireless earpieces. The system may determine various presentation parameters based on various characteristics of the received messages and may play the messages such that audio appears at distinguishing locations around the user. The system may change how messages and/or conversations are played in response to recognize a change in the focus of the user based on detected user inputs, such as body movement gestures.
Mobile terminal, display apparatus and control method thereof
Disclosed is a control method for a display apparatus and a mobile terminal which includes a camera for taking a photograph and generating an image; a voice input unit which is used to input a voice; a user input unit which receives a user's input; a display unit which displays the image thereon; a wireless communication unit which communicates with a counterpart mobile terminal through a wireless network; and a controller which performs a video call by transmitting to the counterpart mobile terminal video call data comprising a video generated by the camera and a voice input by the voice input unit according user input, displays on the display unit a shared image during the video call, and transmits to the counterpart mobile terminal the shared image added to the video call data.
Managing access to a conference call
Managing access to a conference call includes obtaining, via a calendar application, a list of participants, the list of participants includes a number of participants to be included in a conference call, identifying, from the list of participants, a first portion of the participants that have personal passcodes, generating guest passcodes for a second portion of the participants associated with the list of participants that do not have the personal passcodes, and permitting, based on the personal passcodes or the guest passcodes, each of the participants to participate in the conference call.
System and method for managing calls
A computer-implemented method for managing calls in a collaboration environment is provided. The method includes receiving, by a processor, a call into a collaboration session of the collaboration environment. The method also includes identifying, by the processor, a user from a plurality of users associated with the collaboration session, based on at least one of contextual information regarding the call and information regarding the plurality of users. The method further includes providing, by the processor, an interface on a device associated with the identified user, wherein the interface enables the identified user to instruct the device to handle the call within the collaboration session.
Cognitive Headset Awareness with External Voice Interruption Detection
An approach is provided in which an information handling system invokes a conferencing session over a computer network between a first user utilizing a headset and one or more second users. The information handling system detects an audible interruption from a third user proximate to the first user, while the headset inhibits the first user from detecting the audible interruption. Next, the information handling system sends an interruption notification to the first user in response to determining that the audible interruption matches at least one of a set of notification triggers corresponding to the first user. In turn, the information handling system captures a dialog between the one or more second users in the conferencing session in response to the first user accepting the interruption notification.

Systems, methods, and computer programs for establishing a screen share session for a remote voice call
Systems, methods, and computer systems are disclosed for establishing a screen share session. One such method comprises a collaboration server receiving a message from an application executing on a mobile communication device. The message identifies that a voice call remote to the collaboration server has been initiated by the mobile communication device and established between a calling party using the mobile communication device and one or more called parties. The collaboration server determines that the calling party and the one or more called parties in the remote voice call have an active collaboration presence with the collaboration server. The collaboration server initiates a display of a screen share user interface control on a first computing device associated with the calling party and one or more second computing devices associated with the one or more called parties. The screen share user interface control is configured to enable the calling party and the one or more called parties to establish a screen share session.
Wireless conference call telephone
A wireless conference call telephone system uses body-worn wired or wireless audio endpoints comprising microphones and, optionally, speakers. These audio-endpoints, which include headsets, pendants, and clip-on microphones to name a few, are used to capture the user's voice and the resulting data may be used to remove echo and environmental acoustic noise. Each audio-endpoint transmits its audio to the telephony gateway, where noise and echo suppression can take place if not already performed on the audio-endpoint, and where each audio-endpoint's output can be labeled, integrated with the output of other audio-endpoints, and transmitted over one or more telephony channels of a telephone network. The noise and echo suppression can also be done on the audio-endpoint. The labeling of each user's output can be used by the outside caller's phone to spatially locate each user in space, increasing intelligibility.
SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR COMPUTERIZED INTERACTIVE SKILL TRAINING
The present invention is directed to interactive training, and in particular, to methods and systems for computerized interactive skill training. An example embodiment provides a method and system for providing skill training using a computerized system. The computerized system receives a selection of a first training subject. Several related training components can be invoked, such as reading, watching, performing, and/or reviewing components. In addition, a scored challenge session is provided, wherein a training challenge is provided to a user via a terminal, optionally in video form.
Water resistant wireless device speaker case and conference call module
A speaker and conference call module and mobile device case combination allows a mobile device, such as a smartphone, to be retained by the mobile device case. The speaker and conference call module is configured to wirelessly connect to the mobile device to permit audio from the mobile device to be played threreupon. The speaker and conference call module further includes a microphone to permit audio pick-up by the module and deliver that audio signal to the mobile device, permitting two-way conference call features. The speaker and conference call module can produce sound via one or more exciter voice coils internally attached to the front surface thereof, where the front surface may be a material suitable for sound generation via an exciter, such as a carbon fiber material. The speaker and conference call module can be removed from and reattached to the mobile device case for convenient portability.
