The presently described subject matter allows the user to interactively browse a collection of electronic files, such as a digital photo collection, remotely using a mobile telephone. Files from the collection of electronic files can be directed from the mobile telephone to be sent to a remote display device, where the file can be displayed. Also, a user can record voice and text annotations from the mobile phone to preserve with an electronic file, and which is transported along with the file when it is displayed on a remote display device.

The disclosure relates to a method for processing a user input in a vehicle, in which a suitable subset is selected based on a result of an evaluation of the user input from a superset of personal data records. For each data record of the subset, a frequency value is then determined corresponding to a respective frequency of use. The subset is output to the user adapted to the frequency values. In order to offer a particularly efficient operability, it is provided that the superset is retrieved from a mobile terminal and stored in a memory device of the vehicle before the subset is selected. For adapting the output to the user, the determined frequency values of the data records of the subset are checked for a predetermined selection criterion, at the fulfillment of which the data record with the highest frequency value is determined as a VIP data record and marked and/or preselected upon an output to the user.

Example methods and terminals for sharing content are described. In one example method, an application is activated, upon detection of an event for executing the application, on a terminal, and an application screen having at least one content is displayed. Upon detecting a touch input for selecting, at least one content is selected. Upon detecting a touch input on a transmission button on the application screen, the selected content is transmitted to an external terminal. In another example method, an application screen having at least one icon for executing function is displayed; a touch input for selecting an icon associated with content to be received from an external terminal is detected; at least one identifier broadcast by the external terminal is displayed; and content is received from the external terminal corresponding to the selected identifier, upon detection of a touch input for selecting at least one identifier.

According to one embodiment, a file transmission/reception device includes a communication direction managing unit and an application unit. The communication direction managing unit, in near field communication, cuts off a connection with an opposing device in a case where a conflict occurs with the opposing device, and, after being reconnected to the opposing device, switches the file transmission/reception device to any one mode of a master mode and a slave mode. The application unit performs transmission, reception, or transmission/reception of a file between the opposing device and the file transmission/reception device in the master mode or the slave mode in accordance with a mode specified by the communication direction managing unit.

A file sending method and an electronic device are provided. The method includes: in a case that a conversation interface is displayed, receiving first input of a user. The conversation interface includes at least one file. The first input is input performed by the user for a target file in the at least one file. The method further includes updating the conversation interface to a first interface in response to the first input. The first interface is a desktop or a target interface displayed based on a storage path of the target file. The desktop includes an identifier of the target file. The target interface includes the target file. The method also includes receiving second input of the user. The method additionally includes in response to the second input, sending the target file by using the target application program.

A content transmission method includes obtaining, by a first terminal device, a first instruction instructing the first terminal device to perform content transmission with a second terminal device sending, by the first terminal device, to the second terminal device, and in response to the first instruction, first information instructing the second terminal device to determine that that the first terminal device transmits content to the second terminal device. Receiving, by the first terminal device, content transmission direction indication information from the second terminal device, determining, by the first terminal device, first content, and sending, by the first terminal device, the first content to the second terminal device to display the first content.

A method for operating a first electronic device is provided. The method includes displaying a first graphic element and a first screen part related to a second electronic device on a first display of the first electronic device and detecting movement of the first graphic element in relation to the first screen part. The method also includes displaying a second screen part related to the second electronic device in response to the movement where a second graphic element corresponding to the first graphic element is inserted in the second screen part.

A data transmission method and a sending end device are provided. The method is applied to short-range wireless communication based on a high carrier frequency. During the process of a sending end device sending data to be transmitted to a receiving end device, the method includes: after short-range wireless communication interrupted between the sending end device and the receiving end device is restored, the sending end device querying recorded transmission information, wherein the transmission information is used to indicate a data block, transmission of which is not completed, in the data to be transmitted; and the sending end device sending, to the receiving end device, the data block, transmission of which is not completed, in the data to be transmitted.

A system for remotely controlling an electronic device includes a first electronic device configured to read a frame buffer to compress a screen and transmit the compressed screen, a second electronic device connected to the first electronic device and configured to repeatedly receive the compressed screen, to receive a communication service related event generated in the first electronic device and output the communication service related event, and to receive an event of copying a file between the first electronic device and the second electronic device and pasting the file, and a network configured to form a communication channel between the first electronic device and the second electronic device according to an authentication result of authentication information input into at least one of the first electronic device and the second electronic device.

Methods and terminals for sharing content are described. In one method, an application is activated, upon detection of an event for executing the application, on a terminal, and an application screen having at least one content is displayed. Upon detecting a touch input for selecting, at least one content is selected. Upon detecting a touch input on a transmission button on the application screen, the selected at least one content is transmitted to an external terminal.
